Format Gambar

Dalam sistem operasi Windows, mendukung beberapa jenis format gambar. Aplikasi pengolahan grafis juga menyediakan fasilitas untuk membuka file – file dengan format yang berbeda. Adapun beberapa jenis format gambar yang didukung oleh sistem operasi Windows dan aplikasi grafis seperti : JPEG, WMF, BMP dan GIF.

1. Format Citra JPEG

JPEG ( Joint Photographic Experts Group) adalah teknik kompresi grafik high color bit – mapped dan juga standar file yang dikembangkan oleh grup joint photographic experts yang menggunakan kombinasi DCT (Discrete Cosine Transform) dan pengkodean huffman untuk mengkompresi suatu file citra.

JPEG adalah suatu algoritma kompresi yang bersifat lossy dimana kualitas citranya kurang bagus. Lossy compression adalah metode memperkecil ukuran file citra dengan cara membuang beberapa data, hal ini menyebabkan adanya sedikit penurunan kualitas citra. JPEG merupakan teknik dan standar universal untuk kompresi dan dekompresi citra tidak bergerak untuk digunakan pada kamera digital dan sistem pencitraan menggunakan komputer yang dikembangkan oleh Joint photographic experts group.

2. Format Citra WMF

WMF ( Windows Meta File) adalah suatu format file grafik standar Windows yang biasanya digunakan padaclipboard dan representasi sebuah grafik . Format file ini menyimpan semua komponen dari suatu grafik beserta dengan atribut – atributnya seperti garis (lines), warna (colors), pola (patterns), teks (text) dan atribut teks (text attributes). Adapun jenis format file WMF yang telah ditingkatkan dari segi kualitas grafiknya yaitu EMF (Enchange Meta File).

3. Format Citra BMP

Format file BMP merupakan format file gambar standar untuk komputer – komputer yang menjalankan sistem operasi Windows. Format file ini dikembangkan oleh pihak Microsoft untuk menyimpan file gambar (bitmap) dan memungkinkan Windows untuk menampilkan kembali gambar tersebut. Struktur dari file BMP terdiri dariBitmapfileheader dan Bitmapinfoheader. Struktur Bitmapfileheader menyimpan informasi mengenai dimensi dan format warna dari device independent bitmap (DIV).

Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bitmapfileheader memberi informasi mengenai file dan Bitmapinfoheadermemberikan informasi mengenai gambar. Tabel warna yang didefinisikan sebagai array dan struktur RGBQUAD dan sisanya adalah data gambar. Format ini mendukung resolusi dan monokrom hingga true color (16,7 juta warna).

4. Format Citra GIF

GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) merupakan format gambar standar yang menyediakan sejumlah kemampuan seperti ketajaman gambar (sharp) resolusi gambar (resolution) yang baik serta ukuran file gambar yang relatif lebih kecil. Bagus tidaknya resolusi gambar GIF yang dihasilkan juga tergantung pada perangkat keras (Graphics Hardware) yang digunakan. Perangkat keras tersebut harus dapat menghasilkan resolusi warna gambar yang tajam dengan pixel warna yang baik.

Pixel merupakan elemen yang terkecil dalam sebuah gambar. Pixel berhubungan dengan titik (dot) dalam layar grafik. Misalnya sebuah gambar memiliki ukuran sebesar 320 x 320. Hal ini mempunyai arti bahwa gambar tersebut mempunyai jumlah pixel sebanyak 320 x 320. Semakin banyak pixel yang terdapat dalam objek gambar, maka semakin halus gambar tersebut karena jarak antar pixel semakin rapat dan semakin besar ukuranfile tersebut. Begitu juga sebaliknya, dimana semakin sedikit jumlah pixel yang terdapat pada objek gambar, maka tampilan gambar tersebut terlihat kasar karena jarak antar pixel renggang dan ukuran file yang dihasilkan lebih kecil.

Format GIF ditujukan untuk mendukung format gambar saat ini dan format gambar yang akan datang. Format GIF mempunyai ekstensi .gif yang didukung oleh aplikasi grafis, misalnya Microsoft Paint, Corel Draw, Corel PhotoPaint, Adobe PageMaker dan sebagainya.

USS Nicholas (FFG-47), an Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate, was the third ship of the United States Navy to be named for Major Samuel Nicholas, the first commanding officer of the United States Marines. A third-generation guided missile frigate of the Oliver Hazard Perry class, she was laid down as Bath Iron Works hull number 388 on 27 September 1982 and launched 23 April 1983. Sponsor at her commissioning there on 10 March 1984 was the same Mrs. Edward B. Tryon who sponsored DD 449 in 1942.

Nicholas was designed to provide in-depth protection for military and merchant shipping, amphibious task forces, and underway replenishment groups. Her 453-foot (loa) hull displaces 4,100 tons and her gas turbine power develops 41,000 shp (31,000 kW) for a single screw, giving a top speed of 29 plus knots.

Finally, after waiting long enough to update the Z-Bot, Z-bot version 10.1 can be regarded as a fairly good version and is not severe enough to have bugs in version 10.0. I deliberately did not do a post Z-Bot is a bot version 10.0 for the 10.0 version does not run smoothly and frequently rushed - waste chips, because of coding errors Grin.

Quite a few changes in this version of 10.1 times, from repair bugs, to change the configuration Dead_Eye_Fred.ini, here are the changes there.

* Fixed raise/all_in issue. Added another black 5 checksum.

Israel has decided to build 1600 new homes on their land in East Jerusalem.

The announcement, a surprise to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, came when our own Saint Joe Biden was en-route to Mr. Netanyahu's private residence for a dinner along with their respective wives.

And how did Joe Biden, our master of foreign affairs, guru of Middle Eastern policy decide to act?

He arrived 90 minutes late for dinner.

Bravo, Joe! Your diplomatic skills are out-shined only by your bo-toxed forehead.

Wasting no time, Obama instructed his battle-ax Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to entertain Mr. Netanyahu with a 45 minute phone call rebuking him for the slight. She called the incident "an insult to the United States." (God, could you imagine 45 minutes on the phone with an "outraged" Hillary?)

Pul-ease.

Her indignation is pathetic, considering her husband's presidential library was practically built with money provided by Israel's sworn enemies.

Obama and his anti-semitic administration pounce on any opportunity to lash the whipping boy of the Middle East, and he's jumped on it like white on rice. If he can make it look like Israel's fault, so much the better.

Discrediting and weakening Israel's standing on the world stage has been this administrations policy from the beginning.

Obama's Middle Eastern Apology tour was little more than an inter-national rebuke of Israel, cloaked in winning the "hearts and minds" of corrupt and hostile Arab governments.

He sat in a pew for twenty years and listened to an anti-semitic lunatic preach hatred for the United States, white people, and Jews.

In September of 2009, he held a formal celebration of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan, where he claimed "we celebrate a great religion and its commitment to justice and progress" and "the contribution of Muslims to the United States are too long to catalog because Muslims are so interwoven into the fabric of our communities and our country."

Go ahead and read that again. (Just make sure to vomit on your mouse pad, and NOT on your laptop.)

He then went on to cut the State dinner in half for honoring the Jewish observance of Hanukkah, siting cost as the culprit.

His entire Israeli/Palestinian plan consists of pushing concessions out of the Jewish state, claiming any settlement building to be "counter-productive" of the process.

Of his Palestinian friends, he only asked that they recognize Israel's right to exist.

Gee, that's some mighty slick incentive, Barry.

It is, however, his tough stance on Iran which shows his limp commitment to protecting our only Democratic ally in the region (that would be Israel for all you liberals out there). This tactic, where, every time Iran tells the world to go to hell and Israel will be destroyed, is countered with a firm verbal foot-stomping by Obama and his State department, followed by EU and UN calls for Israel to show restraint.

Does anyone believe any nation besides Israel will do what will eventually be necessary when the Iranian nuclear threat gets to the point of no return? The U.S., under Obama, will not have the stones to engage in what will need to be required: The forceable destruction of Iranian nuclear development.

All of his meaningless rhetoric and Muslim foot-licking will amount to nothing but continued attacks on any position or action taken by Israel concerning anything of import to their survival and progress in a region filled with vipers on all borders. NONE of the outraged surrounding Arab states engage in any helpful activities toward the Palestinians, simply because they don't want to. The Palestinian issue provides them with a perpetual reason for anger with Israel, and Obama knows this.

His silence in condemning these states and his unwillingness toward achieving concessions from them makes him complicit in their vitriol spewed toward the Jewish nation.

All Israel can do now is what it feels is right for Israel.

And if that means dealing with a meaningless hissy-fit once in a while from Obama and the most anti-semitic administration since Carter, than so be it.

Go ahead, Israel.

Elite Eight 2010, The NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Committee has announced that Springfield, Mass. will host the 2010 and 2011 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Elite Eight.

The event will be held at the MassMutual Center, with American International College and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame serving as the hosts. The dates of the competition will be March 24, 25 and 27 in 2010 and March 23, 24 and 26 in 2011.

“The committee is excited about going back to Springfield,” said Rich Sanders, chair of the NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Committee and director of athletics at Northwest Nazarene University. “It is a tremendous venue for our event. The staffs at American International and the Hall of Fame make sure the student-athletes, coaches and fans all have a first-class experience.”

Springfield has hosted the event 20 times previously, including the last four years. With the addition of the next two years, Springfield will have hosted the event on 22 occasions; one more than the 21 times Evansville, Ind. has served as hosts.

NCAA Hockey Tournament 2010

The NCAA Hockey Tournament kick started yesterday, Friday, Mar 26. One of the two games of the opening season took place at the Times Square in Albany. The other opening game of the NCAA Hockey Tournament took place in St Paul. In Times Square, the game was held between Rochester Institute and Denver, while in St Paul, St Cloud State got pitted against Northern Michigan. The outcomes of both the games turned out to be really unexpected. However, according to some of the observers, the outcome was not so surprising after all, as it was expected that the results would not match the predictions.

The observers were of the opinion that it would be difficult to predict the outcome of the NCAA Hockey Tournament because most of the teams had not been able to perform in their respective conferences as per the expectations. The opener games of the tournament proved just that, with the top seed losing out to lesser ranked teams.

In one of the most major upsets in the history of the NCAA Hockey Tournament, Denver managed to beat Rochester Institution, despite the fact that Denver was being considered to be the top seed in the tournament. It had been named a favorite in the United States College Hockey Online polls, and was also the overall seed. On the other hand, St Cloud State also won a hard earned victory against Northern Michigan. This is the first time that the team had won a game in the NCAA Hockey Tournament.
