To fight the problem of having multiple videos of the same content, Google Video now has an omitted results feature in which certain results are not displayed, just like the normal Google Search. The picture above shows an example of this message.

This is funny video of a guy "acting out" the song Canadian Idiot by Weird Al. Weird Al usually makes parodies of popular songs, such as "It's All About the Benjamins" (and his version, It's All About the Pentiums) and "Ridin" (and his version, White and Nerdy). I'm not sure what song Candian Idiot is a parody of, but its a funny song nonetheless.

[Edit] I found out the song that it is a parody of, and it's "American Idiot" by Green Day.

This is pretty cool. If you've never heard of the Anime show "Naruto" I suggest it (watch out, anime can be addictive). If you really want to get into it though, I suggest starting out with music videos because anime is a lot of storyline and hard to get into without seeing the sweet action fight scenes. This isn't just me searching for a video about what I like, this video was under "popular" section on the Google Video Homepage. Has anyone else heard of Naruto?

This is sad. A guy gets this whole deal set up for her to win a free pass into a Wizard's game. But this is his way of asking her to marry him. I think where he slipped up is the part of hundreds of people watching them and thousands more on television (and on Google Video Highlights!) Hey men, how did you ask your wives? Insane Physics - Incredible Machine

Line Rider- Helicopter Escape

This is a slick Line Rider video in which the character ends up on a helicopter (and its drawn really nicely too). Yet another masterpiece created by the new hit "toy", Line Rider, which you can access from here. It allows you to guide an animated character across a line you draw, and it's really fun. Crazy Stunt: Motorcycle Wheelie

You might be thinking, Motorcycle wheelie, what's so special about that? Well, this guy can do that trick, except he does it while he's sitting on the "windshield" of his motorcycle. If he messes up, that will hurt real bad. But the trick is pretty slick.

TED Talk Touch-Screen Interface

This touch-screen computer can respond to varying levels of pressure, and allow a user to interact with different parts of the screen simultaneously. In the future, this kind of technology could vastly improve productivity and it's definitely a step in the right direction. Combined with voice recognition, the need for keyboards and mice would be eliminated, and the mess of cords that comes with a desktop computer would be eliminated.

Extreme Wheelchair Tricks

This is amazing. I admire those who have been disabled and make the most of it by exceeding expectations. This guy is in a wheel chair, but still finds fun in going to the skate park doing 180s, 360s and back flips (according to the video, it's the first back flip landed on a wheelchair. This guy is amazing, no?

1600 Toothpicks... In WHERE?

This guy stuck 1600 toothpicks in his beard! The small unbelievable part about this though is that he says that he did it in 15 minutes... So I was curious and found out that if he did it that fast he would have to have gotten each toothpick in his beard in .5625 seconds. I have a hard time believing that, but I don't have a beard... Anybody think that it's possible? How long do you think it took him?

NBA and Google Video Part

As noted in Micro Persuasion, you will find that if you go to the NBA Playoffs Page, you will find a list of games and links to buy them on Google Video, click on any of them and you will find that they have been removed. Unfortunately, this may indicate a lack of money made by the NBA through Google Video, and if the NBA wont stick with them, who's to say that anyone else will. Personally, I think that this is just a bump in the road, Google will rebound. What do you think this means, do you have any thoughts, comments, or concerns?

Google Video has just added a new feature. Sort by Rating. We have the regular sort by relevance, date, and title, but now we can sort them by how other viewers, like us, think of how good they are. Nice feature Google!
