ASROCK X58 Super Computer, menggunakan perpaduan chipset intel X58 dan ICH10R. Dikatakan Super Computer mungkin karena banyaknya slot PCIe X16 yang tertanam, hingga 4-slot.

Produk dari ASROCK ini memang cukup menarik. Selain penggunaan slot PCIe yang banyak, ternyata untuk tiap slot PCIe X16 diberikan ruang lebih sebanyak 1-slot PCIe X16 yang ada, quad PCIe X16 yang ada sudah mengadopsi baik teknologi AMD CrossfireX maupun Nvidia SLI. Untuk komponen memory DDR3 sebanyak 6-slot DIMM, dan kapasitas maksimum memory untuk produk ini adalah sebesar 24 GB.

Untuk urusan overclocking, produk dari ASROCK ini sudah menyediakan CPU power phase sebanyak 8 set, memang tidak terlalu spesial namun kami rasa sudah untuk penggunaan sehari-hari. Pada saat pengujian sempat terjadi kejanggalan pada sistem, yaitu lag yang bisa dibilang lumayan parah. Dan ternyata lag yang ditimbulkan berasal dari penggunaan processor quad core intel core i7 extreme 965.

Namun setelah update bios yang terbaru, bug lag tadi telah benar2 menghilang. Jadi ternyata, motherboard ECS yang beredar di indonesia (khusunya untuk tipe ini) kemungkinan besar memiliki masalah yang sama dengan yang saya alami, jadi setidaknya jika anda mau membeli produk dari ECS ini dan mempunyai processor core i7 extreme, sebaiknya biosnya di update dulu agar bug tersebut dapat diperbaiki.

Produk dari ECS ini diperkuat 2-slot PCIe X16 yang sudah mengadopsi teknologi AMD crossfire, untuk penggunaan memory juga sudah menggunakan DDR3 sebanyak 6 slot DIMM dengan maksimum kapasitas total 24 GB. Untuk memory produk ini menggunakan DDR3 triple channel, dan mempunyai slot DIMM sebanyak 6 slot dengan total kapasitas sebanyak 24 GB atau 4GB untuk tiap2 slot DIMM.

LAN Party DK X58-T3EH6 ini dari segi overclocking dirasa tidak terlalu istimewa, CPU power phase yang diberikan hanyalah 6 set saja dan dirasa masih agak kurang untuk penggunaan Core i7 extreme. Untuk soal pendingin memang sudah lumayan baik. Selain sudah menggunakan heatsink alumunium dengan dasar tembaga, produk dari DFI ini juga sudah mengitegrasikan heatpipe untuk heatsink nya.

Selain itu, all solid capasitor dan debug LED cukup membantu dalam melakukan overclock, juga tidak ketinggalan clear CMOS yang mudah dengan menekan tombol power dan reset secara bersamaan.

Dengan performa yang memang masih kurang maksimal menurut saya, produk dari DFI ini memang dirasa biasa2 saja. Namun jika berbicara harga, mungkin perlu di pertimbangkan kembali mengingat penawaran harga ternyata tidak terlalu tinggi.
