Today I swung my front door wide open and placed my Remington 30.06

right in my doorway. I left 6 shells beside it, then left it alone

and went about my business.

While I was gone, the mailman delivered my mail,

the neighbor boy across the street mowed the yard, a girl walked

her dog down the street, and quite a few cars stopped at the stop sign

near the front of our house.

After about an hour, I checked on the gun. It was still sitting there, right where I had left it. It hadn't moved itself outside. It certainly hadn't killed anyone, even with the

numerous opportunities it had been presented to do so. In fact, it

hadn't even loaded itself.

Well you can imagine my surprise, with all the media hype about how dangerous guns are and how they kill people.

Either the media is wrong or I'm in possession of the laziest gun in

the world.

The United States is 3rd in Murders throughout the World. But if

you take out Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC and New Orleans, the

United States is 4th from the bottom for Murders.

These 4 Cities also have the toughest Gun Control Laws in the United States. All 4 are controlled by Democrats.

It would be absurd to draw any conclusions from this data - right?

Well, I'm off to check on my spoons. I hear they're making people fat.

WoO Sprint Cars: A Divide Between The Drivers And The WRG?

The World Racng Group needs to be careful here or this could be the reason; we end up with another sprint car series. Don't say it won happen, because it could. The National Sprint Tour was formed for this very reason, I mean obviously it failed. Currently, you have NASCAR Drivers backing sprint car teams and if they become unhappy, things could happen, there's a lot of money being thrown around. Don't discount their complaints. I would recommend against it, the current makeup of the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars is a great series, but it won't be if there's no drivers left to compete. The last thing we want to see is a bunch of second rate has beens filling in for them.

John Gibson, One Dirt -- The WRG is the reason, we could end up with another sprint car series. Don't say it won happen, because it could. The NST was formed for this very reason. You have NASCAR Drivers backing sprint car teams and if they become unhappy, things could happen. Don't discount their complains.

t’s an interesting dilemma for the series owners though, do you listen to your drivers or the fans’ feedback? If the drivers aren’t happy, then the racing suffers. But, if the fans aren’t happy, then they don’t show up for the events and the racing will slowly die.

I tend to side with WRG on this one. I think they should consult the drivers about particular issues, but for the most part their main concern should be with the fans’ experience at the track.

Jeremy Elliot wrote a great column about the divide between the drivers and WRG where he brings up a point: The complaints have ranged from rules, to track surfaces, formats and tires. The one common thread: the drivers aren’t consulted by the men calling the shots.

Again, I would caution the World Racing Group to not discount what the drivers are saying, or do so at your own risk. You don't have a strong series without good drivers. Also, There are many tracks out there that will put up the bit money purses to have the good drivers to come to town and put on a show. Also, the World of Outlaws Late Models have to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. I think many would like to see a top of the line Sprint Car series competing with STP WoO Sprint Car series.

Last weekend, Donny Schatz destroyed his Primary Car, pulled out his backup car and ended up winning the Feature race at Castrol Raceway. With the win, Schatz now has 17 feature wins on the season. The win also pulled him within 24 points of the leader Daryn Pittman.

Here is the ad by the Karen Harrington campaign who is running against the DNC attack dog Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, I call her mush mouth because Wasserman-Schultz talks like she has a mouth full of mush.The point of the advertisement is pretty clear - it's the democrats that support extreme causes.

Shortly after our decisive Republican primary election victory, my opponent, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz tried to paint me, Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his running mate Congressman Paul Ryan, as "extremist Republicans."

Her reason for referring to me as a 'extremist,' is because I support the idea of American exceptionalism, and share the same values that all God-loving Americans share, including those within the various grassroots organizations.

The Congresswoman continues to demonize the multi-party affiliated 'Tea Party' movement as "extremist," yet Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz and her President, have fully embraced the Occupy movement.

The Obama-Wasserman Schultz endorsed Occupy movement has committed numerous crimes, including three murders, dozens of rapes, thefts, thousands of arrests, and millions of dollars in property damage.

Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz needs to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask herself, who the real extremist in this congressional race is. -Karen Harrington
