Can You Believe This Weather??

Now this is a Thunder Bay winter I could get used to! This week is going to be unseasonably sunny and warm. I like it. Probably not the greatest for the outdoor winter activiities like skiing and snowmobiling. Even the outdoor rinks will take a bit of a beating but, overall, it makes old man winter a lot more tolerable for the vast majority of people. We actually have a weekend without Lindsay having a hockey game or practice. Unbelievable! Hockey's great but it is nice to have a break once in a while - especially with three more tournaments to play this year. Have a great weekend everyone.

Canadian Market Still Strong

Canadian MLS Statistics - December 2011

The national real estate market remained fairly strong in December. Sales, home prices, and listings were all up while inventory edged down slightly. The numbers for the year are not out yet but, I assume, they will show that 2011 was another strong year. Locally it continues to be a sellers' market with very few homes on the market and prices still strong in all ranges.
