Running March 12-22 across 9 sims, this year’s theme will be “Beyond Black and White,” embodying the spirit of cancer survivors everywhere as they find hope rising out of the dark diagnosis of cancer. Spread over the sims will be over 200 stores with a hunt and gatcha areas, all with the goal of raising funds for the American Cancer Society. Fashion for Life will feature the best designers from around the globe.

Over 1,400,000L has already been raised via sponsorships and store registration and shopping. With nine sim sponsors including KMadd, SLink, House of RFyre, Nicky Ree, Bliss Couture, Evie's Closet, Falln Angels, Lapointe & Bastchild, and Woe, we expect this to be the biggest so far, with donated funds going to the American Cancer Society via their RFL program in SL.

Nature's Hunt: When Roses turn Black...

This is the rose of forgotten emotions,
of the tunnel carved by the grieving heart,
nurtured in silence by the garden of graves.

Rain of minutes is held in its leaves,
anatomy of time made of human blood,
forgotten pure souls in its petals shall breathe.

Dark beauty blooms so fragile and wild,
in the tender hands of the artist child,
a beautiful soul in the road once forgotten.

As talented artists we all born,
forgetting it all as or minds get old,
let's all make a pause at this stage of the road,
for the innocent artist we shall return,
the little one holding the black rose.

When the Roses turn Black is a hunt with a twisted view on all the sweets of Valentine's Day.

Get back at the ones who you wish to send Black Roses instead of the red ones. Or maybe find out about Valentine's Day as the vampires or goths experience! Who knows what this Valentine's Hunt will bring you.

The question is when do Roses turn Black?

Why participate in this hunt? That's easy, your up for a challenge and it's fun! You get to see new and wonderful shops and sims all in the Nature's theme. You will come across some amazing sims that you may have not been aware off. Most of all, you will find some fabulous gifts, from our very talented and amazing creators here in SL.

Find all the Black Roses and collect your amazing gifts, make sure you get them all!
Explore the participating sims and dont forget to wear warm clothes!

Some important rules for this hunt:
1. This is meant to be fun and a hunt, so please no yelling out locations of hunt items in local. Stick to your IM's for helping out your friends or fellow hunters.
2. We have wonderful creators who have spent alot of time on these gifts for you, so please be respectful and do NOT bother them on where the item is or hassle them in any way. Find help in group chat or check out the hintlist.
3. In group chat, do not blurt out where things are located. Helping each other is some of the fun of these hunts, so remember to give out hints only in chat.
4. Do not give out cheat sheets. Creators will change the location of the hunt items when they learn of them and for some creators, they do enjoy changing the locations anyways, so the cheat sheets do tend to be useless.
5. Remember to always give yourself more than enough time to rezz. Some places can take up to a few minutes before you can see clearly enough to really look for the item.
6. When hunting, please be respectful to each other, we want everyone to enjoy themselves on this hunt.
7. Do not just walk into a shop, glance and then ask for help immediately, this is a hunt so please put in an effort to find the object.

GGWH: Upcoming Gorean Grid Wide Hunt

The oldest and longest running Gorean grid hunt in Second Life, the GGWH, has done it again. We are going to kick off the new year with a new hunt! The hunt will run from January 8th through January 22nd 2011. This will allow all to get rid of the new years hangover.

Only this time we have chosen a rather unique theme;

Stores are named for various reasons. Some are named for their owners. Some for parts of Gor. Few are named as appropriately as Southern Charm. When one walks into the newely designed Southern Charm store, there is a sense of charm for the building actually reflects the charm of the owner.

Southern Charm specializes in jewelry including but not limited to belts, bracelets, and jewels. They also sell some clothing, but everything is designed to show off your charm, your beauty.

From December 18 to January 5th, Souther Charm is hosting a mini-hunt to celebrate their time as the Fortnight Merchant at Grean Merchant Isles (GMI). So come by and enjoy the hunt and do some shopping because it doesn't matter where you are from, everyone can use a bit of Southern Charm.

HUNT: The Slave Council Christmas Hunt

Thank You for your interest in The Slave Council Christmas Hunt brought to you by The Slave Council.

How the hunt works - Start at the starting store and find the Candy Cane (it's hidden in the store, not the one on the sign. When you have located them, purchase it for 0L. This will create a folder in your inventory " Within that folder will be the hunt gift.... Then open your Hunt Locations Notecard and go to the next store, continue this until all is complete!

Some important details:

- Starting Location: Sins of Passion Market

- Hunt runs from 1st to 31st December

- Hunt blog can be located at http://slavecouncil.co.cc/ This blog includes a list of participating stores and SLURLS, previews of hunt prizes, Upcoming Hunts, and other important information.

- The Slave Council is a new group that will be bringing you hunts, Meeting, events, and much more, its main purpose is to Support Gorean Slaves, encourage slave roleplay, and to be a focal point for gorean slaves to get help and information. Once the hunt is over, you can stay in the group for information pertaining to the next hunt, event an for support or advice regarding to Gorean Slaves. No need to join a different group.

- You can join the group by clicking any of the hunt ad boards and following the instructions in local chat.

Some Simple Rules-

1. Please do not give away exact locations to the Candy Cane's in local or group chat. If you're caught doing it in group chat, you will be warned. The store owners worked hard on the gifts they are providing you for hunting, please show them the courtesy of actually hunting.

2. Some stores may allow you to unpack their prizes in the store itself. If you do this, please clean up the boxes before you vacate the area.

3. If a certain store is not your taste, please keep that opinion to yourself and move onto the next stop on the hunt trail.

4. If there is a problem with one of the stores, (ie. Hunt Object isn't giving out prize, store is missing completely, etc.) Please contact Fintan Solo or Ranaa Destiny instead of the store owner. Chances are we already have a resolution to the problem and can help you quickly. Notecards are the best way to contact us if we are not online.

5. Be patient. Some stores take longer to rezz than others. If you do not have the time to wait for it, use the blog to skip to the next store and come back when you have more time.

6. Feel free to help each other in the group chat, however, abuse of any kind will not be tolerated. This includes Spamming.

7. Have fun. Enjoy the gifts!
