THE MAN BLOG, this is where the GORILLA MEDIA journey begins! Intended to be a fun and HUMOROUS look at my ULTIMATE BACHELOR Lifestyle full of Jeeps, Motorcycles, Man Rules, Hooters Girls, Strippers (er..ENTERTAINERS) and even a DEFINITIVE GUIDE TO GENTLEMEN'S CLUBS - THE MAN BLOG became the test bed and Learning Center for what is now a diverse (and slightly bent) BLOGGING EMPIRE!

OK, maybe not quite an EMPIRE - yet. But hey, EIGHT Blogs and growing! There are links to each of them in the column to the right of this post. And in the process of developing, researching and publishing these Blogs, I've made a few online friends and more than a few online haters. (Teens and Tweens don't like it when you bash MySpace...which in itself says alot about MySpace...) Oh well...

Some of the lessons I have learned in this BLOGGING Adventure:

People who read and follow my Blogs LOVE PICTURES! and often ask for more.
People who read and follow my Blogs enjoy reading a CASUAL, INFORMAL and relaxed CONVERSATIONAL tone or style. Blogs should be enjoyable and entertaining EVEN WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO TEACH someone!
Say it like you mean it! Don't be afraid to YELL! Or at least raise your voice with ALL CAPS and punctuation!!! if it helps get your point across.
Unfortunately, sometimes...people need to be TOLD when you are TEASING or Joking.
NEVER apologize for ADS on your Blogs! Blogging is fun, BUT it's NOT free (or cheap) and it's VERY time consuming. I enjoy blogging and building and developing these sites - and I'd like to make a few bucks doing it. Some of my sites are COMPLETELY 'whored out' with every imaginable Banner, Link and Ad available (with MORE to come) - and I am TOTALLY OK with that.

If YOU are interested in Blogging - find a NICHE, find that subject or area that you are TOTALLY in love with. Study it, research it, BECOME a Subject Matter EXPERT in that field - then start your Blog. OK, here is one of those 'Do as I say - Not as I do' tips...FOCUS. Focus on ONE BLOG, ONE NICHE - Study it, Build it, and work on it every day! I personally am TOO ADD or ADHD to follow my own advice - I enjoy MULTI-TASKING and if one Blog SPINS off another - I just GO WITH IT! (It's part of my PLAN to be more SPONTANEOUS!)
