Rihanna is reportedly stepping up her personal security after receiving X-rated letters from a crazed fan. The singer is said to be shocked by the graphic fan mail and her rumored boyfriend, baseball player Matt Kemp, is believed to have stepped in to make sure the obsessed letter writer, who calls himself ‘Buster’, can’t get to her. A source told the Daily Star: “Matt has asked Rihanna’s team to be extra cautious since she was sent two very steamy letters. Her friends are also concerned about the situation. They spent a long time talking about it when they dined at the Spanish Kitchen in West Hollywood last week. They are really worried things with this guy are going to get out of hand.”

Susan Boyle was overcome with emotion after her fans threw her a surprise birthday party in Japan.

The ‘Wild Horses’ singer - who is currently in Tokyo promoting her album ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ - burst into tears as her admirers brought out a cake and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ in honour of her turning 49.

A source said: “She couldn’t believe her eyes and burst into tears.”

Linda Caillet, who helped organise the event, said: “This started out as a small idea. A couple of us asked if anyone wanted to go to see Susan sing in Japan and before long it became a big group of us from all over the world.

MICHAEL Jackson’s doctor wants the tragic singer’s body to be exhumed, it has been claimed.

Conrad Murrary — who faces criminal charges over the singer’s death — is desperate to beat a murder or manslaughter rap for administering a fatal dose of the powerful propofol drug to Jackson.

“As the seven-month-long investigation wraps up with Dr. Murray is clearly locked in the crosschairs, I’m sure his attorneys are considering a number of last-ditch strategies, including digging up Jackson’s body to confuse the issue,” retired FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Ted Gunderson told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“Murray’s defense will likely suggest the propofol was the least of the singer’s problems..

“How many other doctors prescribed medicine to Michael over the years? They’ll ask this to cast doubt on the prosecution’s case.

“Murray’s defense would likely argue that Jackson’s drug addiction over the years is what made him vulnerable and Dr. Murray had only known him for a few weeks.

“There’s so much damning evidence against Murray for propofol, but his lawyer could downplay that medication and point at other drugs and other doctors — anything to cast doubt in the jurors minds.

“Of course, the prosecution will fight against any exhumation, but a cautious judge may decide that digging up Jackson for a fourth autopsy is the best way to answer key questions once and for all and avoid having any jury overturned.”

However, Michael’s family are — understandably — against the idea of digging up his body.

“Digging up Michael would be absolutely outrageous,” said one Jackson insider. “I’m sure this would just be a ploy to cast doubts in the minds of jurors. But that’s all it is — a ploy.

“Michael’s death was devastating for those who loved him. If a judge ever let this happen, it would be an absolute sin. Let him rest tin peace.”

Susan Boyle’s brother fears she will be assassinated like John Lennon.

John Boyle is terrified the ‘Wild Horses’ singer could be murdered by an obsessed fan like the Beatles star, and has pleaded for an increase in security after Susan found an intruder in her home on Tuesday evening (26.01.10).

He told The Sun newspaper: “I am very upset about the lack of security. The family have told them several times that vast improvements need to be made to avoid something like this happening.

“This is the second time something has happened to Susan at her home and it is extremely worrying. Susan is a massive world star and needs better protection. You look at what happened to John Lennon in New York - it’s really worrying.”

John died in 1980, after being shot by deranged fan Mark Chapman outside his apartment building in New York.

Susan was returning home with a female pal after she had spent the day in a music studio in London, recording her vocals forSimon Cowell’s Haiti charity single.

Despite being scared about the intruder, the 48-year-old star is adamant she won’t let the incident drive her out of her home in West Lothian, Scotland.

She said: “I’m not going anywhere - nobody’s pushing me out of my house. I’m absolutely fine but it was very concerning for everyone. I think he got more of a scare than I did because he ran off.

“The matter is in hand and the police have been excellent.”

Since the break-in, music mogul Simon Cowell - who does not manage Susan but has kept a close eye on her since she appeared on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ - has arranged a team of minders to watch over her.

It is believed Susan is worried the man was the same one who tried to break into her house on December 21.

At the time the singer - who lives at home with her cat Pebbles - was so frightened she was forced to ring emergency services.

A source said: “Somebody was intent on getting in and didn’t care that she was in at the time. She’s worried it’s the same man this time too. It’s too much of a coincidence.”

The ‘Behind Closed Doors’ singer would love to team up with the troubled singer, who is currently recording her third album, after learning she is a fan of his.

Peter said: “I think Amy is an absolutely incredible singer, and I would be thrilled to work with her at some point.

“I know she’s had her fair share of troubles, but I think she’s a lovely girl who just needs a cuddle.

“I have bumped into her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield at a few things over the last year. Dionne always tells me how much Amy likes me, and how every time I’m on TV, she points at the TV and says, ‘There’s my Pete!’ ”

The 36-year-old singer - who split from wife Katie Price last March - also revealed that 2010 has been a good year for him so far following the emotional upheaval of 2009.

Mel B wants to get pregnant with twins this year.

The former Spice Girls singer - who already has two daughters, Phoenix Chi, 10, and two-year-old Angel Iris, from two previous relationships - wants to extend her brood in 2010 with husband Stephen Belafonte.

She said: “We definitely want to have kids at some point in 2010 or the beginning of 2011, because this year’s going to be pretty busy. Stephen has twins in his family and I would love to have twins. I think there’s something nice about having two babies, and they’re there for each other their whole entire life. That would be ideal for me. But just one healthy baby would be more than fine. That’s all you can wish for.”

Mel - who raised Phoenix and Angel alone before she married Stephen in 2007 - believes sharing parental responsibilities has stopped her from being a “super strict” mother.

She explained to Britain’s Hello! magazine: “Before Stephen was part of our family, I was super strict, because it was just me being mum and dad all in one. Now, I think I’ve gone a little bit softer because I can. We share the responsibility of raising the kids. So it’s nice to be able to go, ‘Oh Stephen, you tell her about her homework today!’

“As parents we’re very routine-based. Bedtime’s at a certain time every night. They have to tidy their rooms. That’s what I grew up with, and I think that gives them responsibility and respect for their things.”

We all know that comedian Russell Brand and singer Katy Perry has been dating since this autumn. But what we probably didn’t know is that it’s getting serious. Although yet to be confirmed, rumors have started to circulate that Brand and Perry are engaged.

It seems the rumor started when Perry made a tweet on Wednesday saying, “So when do I start walking the streets naked singing that Alanis song?” Some believe this in reference to Alanis Morrisette’s song, Ironic, where these lines included in the lyrics, “It’s like rain on your wedding day.”

Meanwhile, Brand was quoted in the Wednesday editions of Sun tabloid texting, “It’s true. Much love.”

Some fans actually believe this engagement rumor has some truth in it, considering that Perry has already introduced Brand to her religious parents. And we can all remember when Perry dressed up in a pair of undies themed with Brand’s favorite soccer team. But until we see the ring on her finger, we can only speculate.

A potential romance between Jonas and Katia is the talk of the house at the moment in Celebrity Big Brother.

The interest comes after the pair seemed to be flirting with each other under the bed covers last night.

Katia Ivanova, who was in a relationship with Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood, had earlier played down any gossip of a romance between the two – saying the singer, known otherwise as Basshunter, is too ‘clean-cut’ for her.

But the flirting continued last night as they both lied on the same bed.

At this time, the Swedish singer had reportedly told Katia: “You are pretty, you are beautiful….you have a very special look.”

And Basshunter’s charms must have worked on Katia as she then hid under the covers for an ‘arm-massage’, it s reported.

The other housemates then realised something was going off with the pair and fellow housemate Lady Sovereign asked them: “What are you doing? Is he giving you an a**e massage?”

Jonas later then played with Katia’s hair and kissed her hand as the pair tried to hide away their actions from the bedroom camera’s.

However away from the house, ‘The Sun’ has today revealed that Jonas has a secret girlfriend back in Sweden. Naughty Jonas!

Brittany Murphy death: Mother's frantic 911 call describes her last moments

VANCOUVER — A heart-wrenching 911 call describing the dying moments of actress Brittany Murphy has been released in Los Angeles.

The emergency call was made by Murphy's mother, Sharon.

The distraught mother pleads for the 911 operator to help her unconscious daughter. She cries out: "My daughter is passed out!"

The operator in turn gives Murphy's mom and another unidentified person in the room instructions on how to perform cardio-pulmonary respiration.

The mother describes how Brittany was dizzy and "couldn't walk right."

The actress died on Dec. 20. No cause of death has been released as yet by medical authorities. Her mother told the 911 operator Murphy had been sick.

The day after her death, Murphy's husband, British screenwriter Simon Monjack told reporters the Clueless star had had laryngitis and had seen a doctor.

"Sharon went into the bathroom because she had been in there a long time. Her mom screamed for me and I ran. Then called 911."

Monjack said none of his wife's laryngitis symptoms seemed serious.

Coroner Ed Winter said an initial examination of the body found no evidence of trauma.
