Redid my friend&amp;#8217;s laptop. Took a day and a half to get it going. His laptop was full of spyware and crapware.
The only stipulation was that he is not allowed to use Internet Explorer.

It&amp;#8217;s a .Net library that you import into your .Net application and start sending status updates, pull twitter mentions, trending topics&amp;#8230; just about anything you&amp;#8217;d want to do with Twitter.

1. Encyclopedias
I&amp;#8217;d have to argue that these were even obsolete in the late 90&amp;#8217;s with the move of putting encyclopedia information on CD&amp;#8217;s. Microsoft&amp;#8217;s Encarta is completely free now, but will stop production at the end of 2009.
