Indian Coast Guard offers opportunity unmarried male Indian candidates for recruitment to the post of Navik (Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward)) in the Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Force of the Union for 01/2016 batch.
Navik (Domestic Branch (Cook & Steward))
Qualification : 10th Class with 50% marks in aggregate from a board of Education recognized by Central / State Government. (5% relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personal deceased while in service).
Age. Limit : Minimum 18 Years and maximum 22 years i.e between 01 Apr 1994 to 31 Mar 1998.
Pay Scale : Rs.5200 –20200 along with Rs.1900 Grade Pay in addition, Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance and other liberal allowanceswill be admissible.
Selection Procedure : The application will be received through ordinary post only. The applications By Speed post, registered post, couriers and by Hand will not be accepted. Call up letters for eligible short listed candidates will be posted, indicating date, time and place for recruitment / written examination, which are scheduled during Oct 2015.

August 23, 2011 – Following the close of common written exam (CWE) application process for bank PO/MT positions, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is back in action to conduct the 1st common test for clerks in public sector banks.

This common exam score is necessary while applying for Clerk recruitments in the following 19 public banks - Allahabad Bank,Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank & Vijaya Bank.

Eligibility criteria for all India bank clerk written exam,

* Agelimit: 18 - 28 yrs, as on 1.08.2011

* Secured 60% marks in Matric/ Std.10th/ SSLC OR 50% marks in Hsc/ Std.12th or Intermediate/ Pre-university level OR Pass in degree (any discipline) from a recognized university, as on 1.08.2011

* Have to appear for test from a state where you prefer to work (can apply to vacancies in that state only, in future)

* Should possess proficiency in the official language of that state.

Written test for clerical cadres will have Objective tests only, comprising 250 questions.While the total marks is 250, for each wrong answer - 0.25 would be reduced as negative mark.

After exam, those who fetch minimum cut-off mark will receive scorecards from IBPS. As these scores are valid for 1 year, candidates can directly apply for interview with public banks after they announce clerk recruitment, provided he/she satisfies the eligibility conditions set by each bank (like age,education,test score etc)

Application: Fee of Rs.50 (SC/ST) or Rs.350 (others) can be paid online (credit/ debit cards) OR by making the payment at any of the branches of Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Central bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank & United Bank of India OR through NEFT to the given account, from 24.08.2011 to 23.09.2011.

The announcement of common test for recruitment into public sector banks has finally arrived.The national level exams are to be conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for which scores would be awarded.

Test pattern for common bank exam is same as previous banking recruitments with Objective & Descriptive papers for a total of 250 marks.For every wrong answer in objective test, 0.25 would be reduced as negative mark.

State Bank of India ,the country`s largest public sector bank is back with the recruitment of 4987 Probationary Officers
