vi) Obtain the applicant’s Copy of Counterfoil of the Application Fee Payment Challan duly receipted by the Bank with (a) Branch Name &#38; Branch SOL ID (b) Transaction ID (c) Date of Deposit &#38; Amount filled by the Branch Official.

vii. Candidates are now ready to apply on-line by re-visiting the Recruitment link appropriate places. Fill in all other required details therein and click on the “SUBMIT” button at the end of the On-Line Application form. Retain your Registration number and password for further reference safely. After applying on-line, the registered candidatesm must retain the print out of application form for further reference.

viii. This system generated printout of the application should be submitted along with 2 sets of required certificates/testimonials at the time of interview.
ix. Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with call letter at the time of interview. (iv) Against the above-said Challan, the candidate should make the payment of fees in any of the Bank of India branches on or before 28.04.2012  

(v) Once the payment of fees is made, the concerned branch will give him a Transaction No. 

(vi) Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the Bank’s website and going tothe sublink to open  the appropriate Online Application Format. 

(vii)  Candidate should visit again our website www.bankofindia.co.in under the caption “Recruitments  / Career” and should fill up the application available by clicking on Page No.10 of the Notice on our website.

(viii) Transaction No. should be correctly filled in the application at appropriate place (This is not applicable for SC / ST /PWD /EX-SERVICEMEN Candidates). 

(ix) Application should be checked and after verification be submitted by clicking to   submit   button. 

(x) Application should be printed to be kept ready for submission at the time of interview    at the Interview Venue.  

(xi) You should note / remember your Registration No.  for future reference and use. 

(xii) Please note that the above procedure is the only procedure for applying.  Physical  mode of application or incomplete application would not be accepted and if submitted such application would be rejected outright. 

(xiii)  As per the above said procedure, we summarize the steps as below :

i. Print Challan
ii. Pay the fees in any of the Bank of India Branch and take Transaction No.
iii. Fill-up the application Form - On-line after verification – Submit 

(xiv) Print Application and affix photograph – to submit the same at the time of interview with following documents:

1.Copy of your valid Common Written Examination (CWE) Score card issued by IBPS
2. Copy of receipted challan; (except for  SC/ST/PWD /EX-SERVICE MEN)
3. Attested copy of School leaving certificate or any other document showing proof of age acceptable to the Bank.
4. Attested copies of Mark sheets / certificates in support of Educational Qualification;
5. Attested copy of certificate of Computer Course, if available;
6. Any other related certificate as applicable i.e. Caste Certificate etc.
7. Candidates serving in Government / Public Sector Undertakings will be required to submit “No Objection Certificate” from their employer, in the absence of which their candidature will not be considered and will be cancelled for non-submission of NOC. 

It is for the candidate to ensure that he / she has met with the eligibility criteria and complied with the requirements and adhered to the instructions contained in this advertisement as well as in the application form. Candidates are, therefore, urged to carefully read the advertisement and complete the application form and submit the same as per instructions given in this regard.

 Even  if the last date of registration is changed due to technical reasons, the valid dates for payment of application fee will not be changed. Payment of fee by Demand Draft / Cheque / Money Orders / Postal Orders etc will not be accepted.  After registration the application printout need not be sent to the Bank. (c The advertisement is also available on CRPF web site. The format of the application (including admit card) may be downloaded from CRPF web site www.crpf.nic.in.
(d) Applications, which are not on prescribed format or not accompanied by the required enclosures or incomplete or defective shall be summarily rejected. No representation or correspondence regarding such rejection shall be entertained under any circumstances.
(e) Candidates are not required to submit any original certificate along with their applications except the certified photocopies. Candidates should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions. If on verification at any stage, it is found that they do not fulfill any of the eligibility condition, the selection committee shall reject their candidature.
(g) Candidate found eligible will be called for interview followed by a detailed medical examination by a medical board constituted by the selection committee.
(h) Candidate should be physically/medically fit for the duties of Specialist Medical Officers (Deputy Commandant) or Medical Officers (Assistant Commandant) or Dental Surgeon(Assistant Commandant) in any area where concerned department committed to its duties with extreme climate conditions. After the interview, candidates will be produced before a duly constituted Medical Board and will only be considered for appointment if the candidate is found and declared medically fit by the medical board as per the instructions. On behalf of Govt. of India, selection committee reserves its right to reject or accept the candidature of any applicant at any stage.
(j) The selection committee will not enter into any correspondence with the candidate except in the case of change of address sought by a candidate. Selected candidates will have to undergo basic training and such other courses as prescribed in the Force from time to time.
(l) The Allocation of qualified candidates to various Forces will be done on the basis of merit-cum-choice.
(m) The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to the Government being satisfied after such inquiry as may be considered necessary that candidates having regard to their character and antecedents are suitable in all respect for appointment to the posts.
(n) The appointment will be further subject to the candidates satisfying the competent authority of their having satisfactorily completed Compulsory Rotating Internship and for Specialist Medical Officers, have required experience in their field of Specialty.

Part I Registration
Part II Registration

In Part I registration, candidate will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidate will be prompted to check the details and make any correction in the application.

Candidate may press ―I agree‖ button after declaration once he/she finds that information supplied by him/her is in order and no correction is required. Thereafter no correction/modification etc. will be allowed. A page with Registration No. will now be generated. Note down the registration number or take out the print out of the page. Candiates using sifyitest site will also get a SMS containing Registration Number. The application procedure is incomplete without part II registration. Part II registration requires filling of payment details, uploading of photograph and scanned signature. Candidates may note that the Registration number given by the Commission and Transaction ID of the Bank should be properly entered in the relevant space, failing which it will not be possible to link the payment with Part I registration. On-line application will be complete only if scanned signature and photo are uploaded as per instructions. Incomplete online application will be rejected summarily.

Candidates who have to pay application fee can pay fee online through SBI net banking, or cash through SBI bank challan.

To pay fee in cash, candidate should take print out of challan generated online after completion of part I registration. Deposit the requisite fee in pay branch of State Bank of India and then continue with the Part II registration. Those who want to pay online through SBI net banking, can go directly to part II registration after completion of part I. Candidate will have to supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part II registration.

As approval of the Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance is awaited for use of credit cards / debit cards since January,2010, payment through these modes will not be available.

Those who are exempted from payment of fee can skip steps 6 to 8.

Then upload a recently taken scanned photograph in 8 – bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be of resolution 100 pixel widths by 120 pixels height.

Then upload your scanned signature in 8 – bit JPG format. The digital size of the file must be of resolution 140 pixel width by 60 pixels height.

Emails wil be received by the candidates registering only. Copy of email may be retained to produce before the Regional Office in the event of any discripency.

Candidates are advised to go through the instructions carefully before filling up the application form.

Request for change/correction in any particulars in the Application Form shall not be entertained under any circumstances. The Staff Selection Commission will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of non acceptance of any correction/addition/deletion in any particular filled in application form whatever the reasons may be.

 The eligible candidates with application form duly completed should report at the designated recruitment Centre on dates mentioned in Para-4. The Candidates who report at the designated recruitment Centers on the given date and time will be put through the selection process consisting of following stages:-
a) Height Bar Test. The candidates will be put through the Height Bar test and qualified candidates will be sent for registration.

b) Registration: The candidates qualifying the height Bar test, will be required to submit duly filled application form and registration slip (duplicate) at the Recruitment Centre. The candidates will be issued a registration No. and date of PST/PET.

c)	Race: After registration, the candidates will be subjected to 5 kilometers race to be completed within 24 minutes. In case of recruitment at Leh-Ladakh, candidates will be required to run 1.6 km. race to be completed within 6.30 minutes. 
d)	Physical Measurement: Candidates, who are qualified in race, will be screened first for height, chest and weight measurements. 

e) Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The candidates who are found fit in Physical Measurements will be required to pass PET (Qualifying) consisting of following events:-

Note: Those who do not qualify the Physical Efficiency Tests will be removed form process there only and will not be allowed to appear in further tests. 

f) Biometric verification: Finger impression in respect of candidates qualified the Physical Standard Test will be captured immediately and will be verified on subsequent recruitment tests to avoid impersonation. 

g) Documentation: The candidates who qualify in the Physical Efficiency Test will be required to produce all relevant documents, in original only, as mentioned in para 7 above.

Written Test (100 Marks):
(i) The candidates who qualify in the Documentation stage will be required to appear in a written test.

(ii) The question paper will be set (Bi-lingual i.e. in Hindi &#038; English) to assess the general awareness/General Knowledge, Knowledge of Elementary Mathematics, analytical aptitude and ability to observe and distinguish patterns and to test basic knowledge of candidate in English/Hindi. The question paper will carry 100 objective type multiple choice questions and would carry 100 marks.

(iii) Minimum qualifying marks for General and Ex-Servicemen- 35% and for SC/ST and OBC category candidates is 33%.

Interview: There will be no interview in this recruitment. 

k) Merit Lists: Merit lists will be drawn separately in respect of vacancies as given at para-4, in each category namely, Gen, SC, ST, OBC and Ex-servicemen, on the basis of marks obtained in the written test. On the basis of this merit list, the candidates will be shortlisted for detailed medical examination.

l) Detailed Medical Examination:- Candidates shortlisted in order of merit as per category wise number of vacancies, will be put through detailed medical examination to assess their fitness.

vi) Candidates seeking age relaxation must enclose the certificate of educational qualification/research experience entitling the candidates for age relaxation. (for details, please see item no. 4).

vii) The Application (consisting of two copies of printout of online application form, one copy of Attendance Slip and one copy 
of Admission Card) alongwith required documents (as mentioned in item No. 13) must reach the Registrar of the University (UGC Test Centre) on or before 31.10.2011.

viii) Application received after 31.10.2011 at the Test Centre will be rejected.

ix) Before applying Online, candidates are advised to go through detailed notification available on UGC website and to be published in the Employment News. Please note that Fee submitted through any other mode like Money Order, Demand Draft, IPO etc. will be summarily rejected.

x) The envelope containing the Application Form should be superscribed “UGC NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST FOR JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP AND ELIGIBILITY FOR LECTURESHIP, DECEMBER 2011”.

xi) The candidates must affix their recent identical passport size photographs, at the places indicated, on the printout of Online Application Form and must sign across the photograph after it is affixed so that a part of the signature spreads over the Application Form beyond the photograph. Besides, it should be duly attested by the Head of the University Department/Principal of the College/Class-I Gazetted Officer.

xii) In order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are advised to apply early enough. UGC will not be responsible for network problems or any other problem of this nature in submission of online application during last days.

		<description><![CDATA[GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Last Date for the Receipt of Application Fee in the Bank : 07 October, 2011 Closing Date for Receipt of Applications will be : 12 October, 2011

1. The candidate may carefully study the detailed advertisement and may apply for the post only when he is eligible for the concerned post.

2.  In no circumstances, applications shall be accepted after the last prescribed date and time. Applications found without requisite informations and without photograph and signature, even   when received in time, will be summarily rejected.

3.  The knowledge of Hindi is essential.

4.  The date of calculation of age (except where indicated otherwise) is 01 July, 2011. The maximum age-limit shall be relaxable by five years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Other Backward Class and dependants of the Freedom Fighters of U.P.. In case of ex-servicemen, the 3 years relaxation is extra admissible in the maximum age limit in  addition to total length of Military Service. It is essential to be retired from army upto the date of last date of receipt of application. For the physically handicapped persons (If post reserved), relaxation in age of 15 years will be  admissible according to Government Order.

5.  After receipt of application in the Commission, any request for change in the qualification and category will not be entertained.

6.  Minimum educational qualification is not sufficient for being called for interview. Mere eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview or for selection. Intimation for interview will be sent later on.

7.  In case of large number of applicants for the post/posts, the Commission may hold screening test, which will be communicated in due course of time.

8.  The original certificates are required for verification at the time of interview. Candidate will then also be required to submit his passport size photograph attested by his head of department or head of the institution, where he received last education or by a Gazetted Officer.

9.  Candidates serving under Central or State Government will have to produce "NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE" from their employer at the time of interview.

10.  The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate will be final.

11.  The candidate coming under the reserved category, desiring benefit of the reservation, must indicate in the prescribed column of the on-line application the category/sub category (one or more than one) whatever may be, and if they fail to do so, they will be treated like a general candidate and the benefit of reservation will not be admissible to them.

12. Till the last date and time of the submission of the on-line application, it is must to click the 'Submit Button'. The candidate must take a print out of the application duly filled in and keep it safe and secure. In the event of any discrepancy, the candidate will be required to submit the print-out to the office of the Commission otherwise the request of the candidate shall not be entertained.

13. With regard to claims made in the 'On-line Application', the candidate shall submit the following original certificate/certificates in the prescribed format, when asked for by the Commission. If the certificates are not submitted in time, the candidature shall be treated cancelled.

13.1 Higher Secondary/ High School Certificate for proof of the age.

13.2 Proof of degree/diploma or its equivalent qualifications to confirm the prescribed essential and preferential qualifications.

13.3 In the case of candidates physically handicapped, the certificate issued by the competent authority in the format-1 to the Government Order No. 18/1/2008-Ka-2-2008 dated 3rd February 2008.

13.4 In the case of the skilled players of the classified sports, a certificate issued by the competent authority will be required in terms of the Government Order No. - 22/21/1983-Ka-2 dated 28th November 1985.

13.5 Under any reserved category/categories, for the confirmation of the claim for reservation, The caste certificate issued by District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate (Executive)/City Magistrate/SDM/ Tehsildar in the prescribed format prescribed under Govt. Order No. 22/16/92-TC-III/Ka-2/2002 dated 22nd October, 2008 in respect of candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC.

13.6 Those candidates, willing to take the benefit of the reservation may obtain a certificate, issued by the competent authority, insupport of the reserved category, in the prescribed format printed in this detailed advertisement and submit the same to the  Commission, whenever required to do so. Those claiming more than one reserved category will be given only one such concession, which will be more beneficial. The candidates not originally domiciled in U.P. belonging to SC, ST, O.B.C., dependants of freedom fighters, handicapped, Ex-servicemen and women are not entitled to benefit of reservation. Such candidates will be treated in general category. In case of the women candidates, the certificate issued from father side will be treated valid.

14.  The Commission do not advise to candidates about their eligibility. Therefore, they should carefully read the advertisement and when satisfied about their qualifications in terms of the advertisement, then only apply.

15.   In the category of dependants of the freedom fighters only sons, daughters, grand-sons (son's son) and unmarried grand daughter are covered. Only such relationships with the freedom fighters are not adequate but the candidate should remain actually dependant of the freedom fighter. Drawing the attention of the candidates towards Govt. orders dated 22.01.1982, 08.03.1983 and Govt. Order No. 3014, Personnel-2, 1982 dated 18.10.1982 read with Govt. Order No. 6/1972 Personnel-2, 1982 dated 15.01.1983, it is advised that now the candidates may obtain the reservation, certificate from the District Magistrate in terms of Govt. Order No. 4/3/82-Ka-2-97 dated 26.12.1997 in the prescribed format and submit the same.

16. In the event of involvement of a candidate in the concealment of any important information, pendency of any case/criminal case, conviction, more than a husband or wife being alive, submission of facts in a distorted manner, canvassing for selection etc. The Commission reserves the right to reject the candidate and debar from appearing in the examinations and selections.

17.  The change of address intimation may be sent immediately to the Commission. In order to make any correspondence with the Commission, it is essential to mention the name of the post applied for, advertisement number, Deptt. No., date of birth and registration number.

18.  In case the candidates face any problem in the "On-line Application" they may get their problem resolved by contacting over phone or Website clicking  'Contact us'. A separate detailed notice in this regard will be published.

Appendix-1 "Detailed instructions to fill in the On-line Applications". The specimens at Appendix 2 to 6 are given for the purpose of making the candidates familiar with the procedure.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION

1.   Log on http://uppsc.up.nic.in to access the home page of the “Candidate Segment”.

2. Before filling up the form candidates are advised to carefully go through the Relevant Notification published in the News Papers and also available in the “All Notification/Advertisement” in Candidate segment page.

3.  Place the mouse over the “All Notification/Advertisement” menu to view details of notifications with respect of vacancies/post.

4.  Click on “All Notification/Advertisement” link would take you to the list of all the active Notifications, where you can select to apply for any of the listed notification by clicking on the link “Apply” against each notification.

5. Click on “Apply” button it will open option “Candidate  Registration”.

For Part-I Candidate Registration process you have to click on “Candidate Registration” option it will fetch out Candidate Basic Registration page in which the candidates have to fill fundamental information, particulars and details asked for. All pink fields are mandatory and essential to be filled in by the candidate. Every field has clear instructions for filling up are written which should be carefully read and strictly followed by the candidates while filling up the form.

6. Read User guidelines carefully using “User Instruction” option. The Application submission of form is divided into two options namely  ”Candidate Registration” and “Submit Application Form”.

Part -1

7.  Now click on “Candidate Registration” option to accomplish 1st part of form submission.

Candidate Basic Registration Form: Here the system asks for Candidate's Personal Information including 'Name', 'Father's/husband name', 'UP Domicile', 'Category', 'DOB', Gender, 'Marital status', 'Contact no', email, Qualification details, and other relevant information.

After entering verification code Click on “Submit” button at bottom of the page, the second page that will display your Registration Slip where you can find your 11 digit registration number with detail that you can also take print for future reference.

[The candidates are supposed to fill in the Payment Details while filling up Part-II of the Online Application Submission.]

8. After Completion of PART-I Registration. You have to go through via “Generate E-Challan” and “Submit Application Form” options to complete Part-II portion.

Click on “Generate E-Challan” button in candidate segment it will opens-up a page and ask for Candidate Registration Number and Bank Name to Generate E-Challan.

When candidate provide valid information, then click on “Generate E-Challan” button it will generate Bank Challan with

respective of bank that you have to deposit in bank and they will give you candidate Challan Copy with transaction date and number for further proceeding.

[The candidates may however note that Application would be treated as incomplete and rejected unless accompanied with Part-II Application Form submission.]

Part -2

9. Click on “Submit Application Form” would take you to the 2nd part of the online application.

10.  Now to complete online application submission you just click on “Submit Application Form” in Candidate Segment Page.

Clicking on “Submit Application Form” button it will opens-up a page and ask for Candidate Registration Number, Fee details, Scanned photograph with signature and some your personnel details that you filled during registration process. And click on submit button &#038; you will be moved on next page where you can fill all information to complete form submission.

[Here the candidate is required to upload the images of recent Photograph and Signature Specimen. Images to be uploaded should be only in .jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .tif, .png format of size not exceeding 50 KB.] the candidate should scan his signature, which has been put on white paper using Black Ink pen with his/her photograph.

Detailed Application Form:  At the top of the page there is a 'Declaration' for the candidates. Candidates are advised to go through the contents of the Declaration carefully. Candidate has the option to either agree or disagree with the contents of Declaration by clicking on 'I Agree' or 'I do not agree' buttons. In case the candidate opts to disagree, the application will be dropped and the procedure will be terminated. Accepting to agree only will submit the candidate's Online Application.

Declaration segment

At the bottom of the page there is a 'Declaration' for the candidates. Candidates are advised to go through the contents of the Declaration carefully.

After filling all above particulars there is provision for preview your detail before final submission of application form on clicking on “Preview” button.

Preview page will display all facts/particulars that you have mentioned on entry time if you are sure with filled details then click on “Submit” button to finally push data into server with successfully submission report that you can print.

Detailed 'Instructions for Applying ON-LINE' are available on this link. Candidates should read the instructions carefully and then click on "Apply" link. Salient features of the system of On Line Application are given hereunder: Before starting filling up of ON-LINE application, a candidate must purchase the DD or IPO forRs. 100/- (except SC/ST/PWD candidates who are exempted from payment of fees). Fee exempted category candidates can straightway fill the ON-LINE application.

Candidates NEED to take a PRINTOUT (hard copy) of their ON-LINE Application after submission of the data through the system. A signed photograph must be pasted (not to be stapled) at the specified place on the printout and the candidate must sign on the printout of the application and attach DD or IPO of Rs,100/- (if required to pay fee).

Candidates need to send the system generated print out (hard copy) of the ON-LINE Application to the Reserve Bank of India Services Board's Office (RBISB) by ordinary post. In case the print out (hard copy) is not received by the Board by the CLOSING DATE mentioned in this advertisement, the ON-LINE application will not be entertained and will be rejected.

Applications should not be submitted more than once. Duplicate applications will not be entertained and will be rejected. The ON-LINE applications can be submitted till 11.59 P.M. on September 26,2011 after which the link will be disabled.

ii. OFF-LINE : The candidates must apply in the Application format published in this advertisement. It should be typed or neatly handwritten in Hindi or English on a good quality "White A- 4 size" paper. All the columns in the application (except PWD category and Fee, if not applicable) must be filled legibly or typed. Incomplete and illegible applications will be rejected.

iii. OFF-LINE Application or printout of the ON-LINE Application (hard copy), as the case may be, have to be sent by ordinary post to "The General Manager, Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Post Bag No. 14501, Mumbai Central Post Office, Mumbai-400008". The cover should be superscribed "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF OFFICERS IN GRADE B'(GENERAL)-(DR)".

iv. OFF-LINE Application or printout of the ON-LINE Application (hard copy), as the case may be, in closed cover, may also be deposited in the box specially kept for the purpose at Reserve Bank of India, Opposite Mumbai Central Railway Station, Mumbai Central, Mumbai 400 008.

v. Candidates should apply either by ON-LINE mode or OFF-LINE mode. They should not submit application by both the modes. Duplicate applications will be rejected.

CLOSING DATE:

(i)   ON-LINE applications can be submitted till 11.59 P.M. on September 26,2011.

(ii) OFF-LINE Application or the printout of the ON-LINE Application (hard copy), as the case may be, should reach the Board's Office on or before 6.00 P.M. on October 3,2011.

(iii) In the case of App. received only by post from candidates living abroad, in Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura; Ladakh division of Jammu and Kashmir State; Lahaul and Spiti Districts and Pangi Sub-division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh; Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep, the last date of receipt of Applications will be on or before 6.00 RM. on October 10,2011. For Applications received in any manner other than by post, the benefit of extended time will not be available.

(iv) The Board takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt of Applications or loss thereof in postal transit..

CHECK-LIST FOR SUBMISSION OFTHE APPLICATION:

(i)   The Format of the application given below should not itself be used as application.

(ii) The App. strictly in conformity with the Format as prescribed must be typed or neatly hand­written in Hindi or English on a good quality 'White A4 size" paper and duly affixed (not stapled) with a signed latest passport size photograph. Candidates should ensure that all the entries have been correctly filled in and the Application, as also the photograph are signed. Application without signature, photo, fee (if applicable), not in prescribed Format-incomplete or illegible shall be rejected.

(iii) Name and Address in the application must be written IN CAPITAL LETTERS in English only, since processing is computerized.

(iv) Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of the Demand Draft and in the space provided for the purpose on the Postal Orders (if fee is payable) and enclose them to the application with a pin (should not be stapled).

(v) The post applied for should be superscribed on top of the cover containing the Application.

(vi) Candidates must ensure that the Application [either OFF-LINE or printout of the ON­LINE] along with DD/IPO (if applicable) should reach the Board's office on or before the CLOSING DATE. Even after the successful submission of ON-LINE application through the system, unless the system generated print-out of the ONLINE application together with fee (if applicable), photograph and signature is received by post at the Board's office within the closing date, the ONLINE application is not valid and will be rejected.

Women, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zoroastrians (Parsis)} &#38; Persons With Disabilities are exempted from paying the fees and those belonging to economically backward classes are also exempted from paying the fees, on production of necessary certificate in the format enclosed as Annexure- ‘C’. Candidates belonging to economically backward classes mean the candidates whose family income is less than ...50,000 per annum. The following authorities are authorized to issue income certificates for the purpose of identifying economically backward classes:-

a) District Magistrate or any other Revenue Officer up to the level of Tehsildar.

b) Sitting Members of Parliament of Lok Sabha for persons of their own constituency.

c) Union Minister may also recommend for any persons from anywhere in the country.

d) Sitting Members of Parliament of Rajya Sabha for persons of the district in which these MPs normally reside. Note: BPL Card or any other certificate issued by Central Government under a recognized poverty alleviation programme or Izzat MST issued by Railways will also be valid.

vi) The certificate for waiver of fee in respect of candidates belonging to economically backward classes is required to be issued on the letter head of the issuing authority as per the format enclosed as Annexure ‘C’.

vii) Two self-addressed envelopes (size 23 cms x 10 cms.) should be attached with the application. Serving employees should submit their applications through proper channel as per extant rules. viii) More than one application in one envelope will be summarily rejected.
