I've been feeling very down in the dumps. No matter how I treat people at work tips aren't great, I didn't get my very much needed day vaca to Minneapolis because I was at work for 14 hours with a 20 minute break, and today marked my 1 year anniversary of surgery on my knee that is now worse than it was. I don't know how to dig myself out of this slump. I'm going to an energy healer tomorrow, but then my aunt's all: be careful she doesn't possess your body with negative beings; umm, ok, I'll make sure she doesn't transfer demons into my soul. I'm eating bad and not sleeping right, but who cares because all the hard work I've done hasn't made me feel better, so what's the use? Ugh, seriously, let's get a vacation going here...I need an extreme break from life.

I'm completely over today and it's bullshit. I got my job threatened today, came home to a washer full of bedding soaked cat pee water because the fuse blew, my dog cannot give it a rest with attacking the cats, and I'm on my period. Today can go straight to he'll.

Last Thursday I adopted a dog!

His name is Marley and he's a crazy beast of a boy. Today is day 4. He cries for the kitties, but barks at them when they won't let him bite them. He loves the backyard, walks, and the new toy Aunt Hanna made him. He thinks he belongs on the couch and loves cat poop. He drags his blanket from his kennel into the living room and chews on it like a toddler.

I adopted Mr. Marley from www.furryfriends.com

It's been quite some time since I last blogged. I'm not exactly sure the date, but I'd guess it's been close 6 months if not more. So I suppose a photo montage is in order...and s promise to never abandon my post again. I don't know how to catch up but you have to start some where.

Okay it's been almost a month, but I got busy and forgot. I didn't put it on my to do list, so the blog fell off the radar...poor guy.

In the last month we had Christmas, I moved, we lost my Great Uncle, I started a 30 day food challenge, I got a little braver, mom visited from Las Vegas, Beaux discovered how much he loves my potted plants, and Brady rolled over. So 2013 made it here without a hitch and we're off! I was sick for New Year's Eve, so that has to be some sort of good luck charm right? Plus I did not include NY resolutions in my 2013 wishes this and things seem to be going off without a hitch (not to jinx myself hopefully) and I'm ready to get a move on with life. I would like to point in the photos above my new family band that I've been wanting my entire life: Mason on the maracas, Aubrey on the piano, Blake on the tamberine, and Dylan (not pictured) on the bongo drums...oh and me lead singer, of course.
