OUTLINES WINS at LICC & FEATURES AT NEW MEDIA FILM FESTIVAL

"Outlines" wins environmental design award at this years London International Creative Competitions, LICC, and has been chosen to hang in the foyer gallery of the New Media Film Festival in San Francisco. It is a great honor to be part of the 2nd annual festival running on the 5th November at Landmark Lumiere Theatre 1572 California St. SF, CA. Inside Out Project Tokyo at Tokyo Designers Week

The Inside Out Project Tokyo team spent the day yesterday setting up a 100 meter wall at the tent exhibition space for Tokyo Designers Week, Nov 2011. Inside Out Project Tokyo consisting of myself, Genevieve Tran, Maya Reyes, Patrick Newell and some of the photo subjects went down to TDW to set up the exhibit, to be displayed through the first week of November. The tent exhibition was conceived by myself and Florian Busch for TDW, Architect and designer of this years site, with the idea of using the existing negative space of the building to hang art on, instead of leaving it a blank area. Deciding that this was a great use of the space we proposed the Inside Out Project Tokyo in conjunction with Tedx to the Design Association of TDW, to hang the works from 2011 in this space. Photography works by myself (Remo Camerota), Maya Reyes and Genevieve Tran and video work by myself and Maya are on display now until Nov 5... If you are in town, check it out.

MARS ATTACKS - GROUP SHOW SYDNEY

In the last 2 months I have been preparing works for a collaborative show in Sydney Australia - opening party @ Redbull Gallery 15th OCT , including visuals and laser tagging and live painting. Please come along if you are in the Area.

Because of this I have been unable to report on many of the other exciting related things happing in the world of Remo. Anyway, stay tuned for more news from me, in the meantime I hope you can come to the show, if not, all photos from the event will be placed here in the coming months.

MY LATEST WORK TO HELP SAVE THE SHARKS

I did this piece up the top, Ban the Code, in ode to banksy and his tiger bar code, for the same reasons as he, but, as the help save the Sharks of Japan, by banning the Bar Code. No Bar codes on Sharks.

It is available on display at Gallery T , Enoshima and still for sale at the bargain price of 40 000 yen, approx $420. The website for the cause is

And other great artists alongside my work included, Mr Brainwash, Bigfoot, Dave Kinsey, Rys Cooper, and many moore - they are all listed on their website, and we have decided to give them gallery space at our Urban Arts Festival In Tokyo 2011.
