The three of us were off doing life changing things. We honeymooned (one of us, anyway). We went to the other side of the world (again, that was one of us). And we held down the fort. We'll leave it to our loyal readers to figure out who did what.

For those who know us well, you know that we are avid sports fans. But you also would not be surprised to hear that we believe today's reaction to Jim Joyce's blown call is being blown way out of proportion. Here is an umpire who has been one of the best in the game for 20 years. He made a bad call, and, yes, admittedly, the call affected the record books for one young ball player. But, the call did not change the outcome of the game. It should not result in major changes to the way baseball is played or umpired. And perhaps most importantly, this mistake was one of the few examples in recent history where we get to see a somewhat public official OWN UP TO HIS MISTAKE. What a stand up guy. When was the last time we saw a politician say I blew that one? When was the last time we saw a banker say I gave that guy a corrupt loan? Mistakes happen daily in our society. But we, for three, think Jim Joyce handled this one well.

But now for the most exciting reason for this post. (We know you are excited to see us back and blogging again, and we appreciate it.) Here is one of the best reactions you will ever see to the end of last night's near-perfect game. A West Virginia man wearing short shorts and dipping watches the end of the game with his young children. For your viewing pleasure, we present hilarity:

If only this happened in the pros

Here are two reasons to like college baseball:

1. During a rain delay in a game between Western Kentucky and Florida Atlantic, both teams decided to put on a little performance for the fans. Courtesy of youtube, we present the Rain Delay Theatre:

2. In the best baseball leap since Wesley Snipes' version on the silver screen, Fordham's Brian Kownacki flips over the catcher to score in Fordham's exciting comeback victory over Iona. Watch the action:

Who's ready for Omaha?

Grandma's Coupons Podcast: Episode 1

In this episode:
Trivia Team Names
Springtime in Austin
Passover vs. Easter
Cruise Tips

Here's the link

Love,
Zach, Barry, & Andy.

P.S.
