Spode’s Italian Saucer

Looking for the saucer to go with your tea cup? I have it! Copeland Spode Italian design in beautiful cobalt blue with the early blue stamped oval logo stating: “Copeland Spode’s Italian England.” The oblong logo and simple backstamp “England” dates this piece before 1890! A true antique and in wonderful condition.

Measures 5 ¾ inches across and has the cup indentation in the center. Very good condition with no chips cracks or repairs.

This design is called the “Tower” pattern ca.1814 and was developed from the printed illustration in Merigot’s” Views of Rome and its Vicinity ” published around 1796. Tower depicts the Bridge of Salaro near Porta Salara Rome. I’ve also learned that Copeland Company was located Stoke-On-Trent England and that Copeland was a former associate with Josiah Spode who perfected the process of blue underglaze printing on white earthenware – bringing about a transformation in the pottery industry.

Vintage Park Lane Pearl Pendant Necklace

This stunning pearl pendant necklace is signed by Park Lane. The seven inch goldtone cable rope chain makes this a choker necklace style. The faux pearl is 3/4 inch! The chain needs cleaning but both the chain and pearl pendant appear to be in good vintage condition. The clasp works perfectly.

Sterling Giovonni Rose Pin

A vintage, signed Giovonni rose pin in sterling silver!The etched details are stunning in the satin silver leaves and rose petals and the shiny silver stem is delicate.

Classic Star Pattern Footed Bowl

Clear footed bowl by Anchor Hocking with the classic “star” pattern and a ruffled edge around the rim to make a first class statement to any setting. “Collectible Glassware from the 40′s 50′s and 60′s” by Gene Florence has this piece listed as AnchorHocking’s #768.

Measuries 6 3/4″ inches diameter. Very good condition.

Goldtone Rhinestone Necklace

This pretty bright goldtone chain necklace is accented with a 1 inch cluster of stunning clear rhinestones designed in a mock slide necklace style. On the tip of each chain is another tiny clear rhinestone. Estimating this beautiful piece of vintage jewelry to be from the 1970′s-80′s. A great add for collectible costume jewelry!

Excellent condition. Measures 9 3/4 inches in length.

Vintage Repurposing

So…there’s a big, big world out there of repurposing vintage furniture, doors, dishes, jewelry anything that needs a face lift. I find it quite fulfulling to take a vintage piece that really can’t be displayed or used in its current condition and discover a way to morph it into it’s next productive life!

I even have a Pinterest Board dedicated to such, called Vintage Repurposed. This board is to collect ideas from everyone who has found a way to repurpose something once loved and regal into a new and exciting product.

For example, a friend gave me a stunning acrylic brooch which must have made a loud statement of fashion during the “Flower Power” era but the pretty green paint had begun peeling and some of the petals were missing. I added a few new touches covering the peeled spots with new gem stones and faux pearls and a vintage goldtone ear bob with a large pearl to cover the missing petals. Finally, I added a florist butterly to the center to nuzzle the original yellow and black acrylic center and there it was…a beautiful repurposed brooch. Still vintage and yet new.

This 1960′s Acrylic Brooch is ready to be added to a bright colored lapel, funky bag purse, colorful scarf or floppy hat to ride the fashion wave…again!

SOLD 1960′s Acrylic Flower Pin

This lovely green acrylic flower pin has “Japan” stamped on the back and is likely from the 1960′s “flower power” era! In it’s vintage condition, some of the acrylic was peeling so it has been touched up with new gem stones in pearl and gold, a vintage gold tone and pearl earring added to cover the missing petals and a cute floral butterly added close to the original gold and black acrylic center. This “repurposed” piece would make a fun addition to a summer hat or purse…or as originally worn on a spring jacket!

Signed White Enamel Brooch

Signed “SA” painted white enamel on half moon goldtone brooch, probably from 1950′s – 60′s. The SA is for Samsan Company of Providence RI., producing jewelry since 1943, founded by Pasco Sammartino.

Good condition except for light chips in white enamel. Measures 2 1/4 inches.

Vintage Signed Kitten Scarf Clip

This vintage kitten scarf clip, probably dates 1970′s – 80′s. It is a pretty gold tone piece with clear rhinestone eyes, detailed etched fur and signed “adg, ltd” on the back. ADG, Ltd is out of London, England.

Very good condition. Measures 1 3/4 inches across.

Perfect accessory for the “kitten lover” in your life. Add clip to shoes, purse or scarf.

Sterling Silver Taxco Flower Pin

Vintage Sterling Silver Flower/Rose Pin by Taxco with beautiful artistic details. The back is engraved with “Sterling 925 TAXCO” and the artist initials are engraved in a circle, which looks like ‘DG’ in cursive. Taxco silver is from one of the oldest silver mines in Mexico. Very collectible and high content of silver! Circa 1940′s – 50′s.
