Tree Sharing Program

The City of Grapevine is proud to host its annual Tree-Sharing program for the 26th consecutive year! This program is a joint effort between the City of Grapevine and Grapevine Homeowners in “sharing” the cost, 50/50, of up to two trees per household planted in the homeowner’s yard. This program is exclusive to Grapevine residents only.

The Oak Grove Park Ballfield Complex is certainly Grapevine’s premier outdoor recreation facility with its beautiful Lake Grapevine backdrop and its wonderful landscaping, state-of-the-art playground, energy efficient lighting and one-of-a-kind public art. On December 12, 2011, in San Antonio, Texas, Grapevine’s scenic home to hundreds of thousands of youth athletes and their families was awarded The Baseball Field of the Year for the State of Texas by the Texas Turfgrass Association.

Lifestyle Improvement Challenge

Burn Ban Lifted

The burn ban that went into effect on September 6, 2011, at City Parks and/or Campgrounds, has been lifted. Cooking fires and recreational camp fires in approved grills and fire rings may resume.

FREE Mulch

The City offers free mulch year round for Grapevine residential use. Mulch is available at the Dove Loop trailhead parking lot located on Dove Loop Road, directly behind Cross Timbers Winery. This mulch is not for commercial use.
