Stylus for your HTC phone

I love my HTC phone but I hate the battery life. The updates have helped somewhat but its still a memory hogger. I was doing a search on pen stylus for your computer (ipad) and I discovered a little nifty tool called the griffin pen. I bought one to use on my Ipad and works like a dream. If your an artist and don't have a pen and paper but you got an ipad check out the griffin pen. I will say it works on some driod pads so beware buying one if you got a driod platform. HTC works very well with not problems.

Its a good pen to use if your using the square application to have your clients sign instead of touching your screen to sign their name.

After tinkering with weebly I did find one glitch which I hope they will eventually fix. It is when you do a bullets and you try to edit them or take them off it really screws your page up.

You eventually have to start over. Other then the bullets I still give this content management system

A week ago my wife's mom called us asking us if we had a program or could recommend a program for her to use to create a button for a project. She needed a photo software where she could add photos in scrapbook style format and add text effects for the button.

The problem was that it was 10:30 at night and walmart unfortunately may not have what she was looking for needless to say to learn a new program.

Luckly I ran into this site a few months ago and its called SumoPaint. It sort of like a blend between photoshop and Corel Paintshop pro.

What I like about Sumo paint is that not only is it free but its a web based program. Meaning if your not on your computer you can still go to the site and access the program and use it as if it were loaded onto the computer. I believe you can even save the files onto their server as well but I would rather keep my files on a usb drive.

Ok so far its worked really well for my second website. They were able to get to my second site but by that time I figured it would not be worth my time changing it because of the Xmas season.

Still its a good starter site for anyone who wants start their own business online.

This is my review about this web authoring tool which allows a user to create a website with little or no html or web programming experience. The tool is pretty easy to use and they allow you to build two sites for free with a small footer telling people what powers the website.

Its a pretty good deal for those looking for a cheap way to start their business or to start a blog. I was able to transfer one of my domains which is a simple t shirt business I run from home with no problems.

The second site I created was a disspointment. I tried to switch the URL to point to the new site and had issues. So I sent a help ticket with little help on their end. I'm hoping tomorrow will be a different story if not I will have to revert to my old godaddy service. I can build simple sites but a drag and drop website application seemed to do everything I need with such little time. I will keep you update if I do get help from their customer support. So far there seems to be none.

Iphone offers no fix for those who purchase the new Iphone

I read an article of the new Iphone. As you know Apple's iphone has had problems with its antenna. According to the article apple is offering a bumper cover that fixes the problem. Now if I spent 400 to 500 dollars on the phone I would want it to work with or without a cover.

How to do a screen Capture and then to a wordprocesser of your choice

1) Locate the key on your keyboard that is listed as prt srn

2) The next thing you want is to open whatever you want capture on your monitor for example you want to capture the screen of this blog.

3) Click the prt srn key

4) Open ms word or any processor and do click on the top hand menu and click edit paste. Or if you want to do the simple version Control and p. This will put your screen capture in your word document.

5) Finally save.

Free Photoshop like editor and suite programs

I stumble upon this free software program which works similar to Photoshop elements. I love photoshop but its always cool to see what other alternatives are their besides the open source of gimp.

This editor is called Aviary which contains a suite of programs you can use to develop your creativity. Check out their photo gallery to see what others have done with the editor. One strong feature this editor has is its distortion tool which works seamlessly with when creating blends.

With all the news on the new iphone leak an article has arisen with with
new details on what the new phone will have. Apparently the new phone will have
two camera built in features. The one on the back for your picture taking with a flash
and one camera on the front for video conference.

Its to bad ATT and their services can't keep up with Apple's technology. Great product bad 3g service. Will see what is in store for Apple's new Iphone

Iphone Ghost Radar Classic Ap

If you like to dab in the paranormal then check out the free ap on your iphone subscription called ghost radar.

I've downloaded it for fun and supposeably it tells you where the ghost are from your location with a graphical radar.

The application states that ghost can communicate with the iphone application by posting words on the phone. At one time this iphone application would say the actual words on your speaker but i guess if you buy the updated version it will have this feature.

I tried this iphone ap and when I was drinking a glass of milk it posted milk. Weird hum ? lol

anyway if you got nothing better to download on your iphone try it out.

Microsoft Office alternative.

Chances are if you got a new windows computer you may have a version of Microsoft office which may not work with Windows 7.

So what to do when you can't open a microsoft word document your friend has sent you hum?

You could go to the store or online and pay 200 -400 dollars for the suite or you can
save yourself some money and use a free open source program called open office.

Its a free alternative to Microsoft's Office suite is Open Office. I tested a few files from Microsoft's Microsoft Word and its Powerpoint and it translates the files easily meaning you can open the file.

Anyway on the next blog I will go over some of the features for open office so stay tune.

A few weeks ago I ran into this cool software program called Sumopaint

Its free to use online with the option to download the program onto your computer

for around 25 dollars which is not a bad deal. If your familiar with photoshop then you

will understand how layers work with this software.

Its a cool tool to use and what I love about it is even if your not at your own computer

you can still use the program without any installation. So look for it sumopaint

Creating a favicon with free software

A favicon is an icon that appears on your browser when you go to a specific site.

If you notice on blogger you have a little b icon which was created in icon format.

So use your favorite software and make the dimentions 16x16 pixels

save it in jpeg format and then go to this website to create your icon.

Hard bounce soft bounce what is it?

If your dabbing in email marketing then these two terms you will need to be familiar with.

Lets first start with a hard bounce.

A hard bounce is when an email is sent to a recipient and comes back as undeliverable.
Normally when this happens its because the email address is no longer in use or an invalid email address to begin with.

A soft bounce on the other hand is when email comes back as well as undeliverable but its sometimes due to the reciepents email box being full. So this may just be that the reciepent has not cleaned their email box.

Plain and simple so when you send out an email newsletter check to see what these two are to clean your email list.
