CPF Table View has taken the step and joined Facebook and Twiiter, which has been fully integrated into the website. They also sport a discussion forum where anyone can sign up and have their say.

A quick share wibya bar at the bottom of the screen allows you to share any page at any time with twitter, facebook, google+ and a few other social networks. You can also have the page emailed! The bar comes with a nifty tool that indicates how many people are currently online. You can also view general location on a map. It comes with an easy to use chat function that requires no registration!

You can sign up for RSS newsletters (sends all new content on the website automatically) or for normal newsletters, e.g minutes of meetings. YES, the RSS subscription is MUCH more exiting!

Users MUST wipe DNSChanger malware / virus from PC’s and Macs before 9 July

The group of cyber criminals responsible for the virus, was apprehended in November last year through FBI operation “ghost click”..  The virus changes the infected computer’s DNS (domain name system or the “internet’s phone book”) settings to redirect it to rogue servers.  In other words, it causes legitimate web surfing to be redirected to malicious websites that attempt to steal personal information to generate an income off false advertising and fake products like pharmaceuticals and security products, amongst other products.  (Over 14 million US dollars!)

The malware is so nasty and vicious that it can wipe out your computer’s anti virus software, which is why, when the FBI shut the operation down, they built a safety net f new servers to redirect traffic from infected computers.  The safety net was scheduled to be taken down earlier this year, but the deadline was extended to Monday 9 July as there were still too many infections.

What will happen on Monday 9 July when the safety nets come down?

According to the FBI,  users’ computers whose domain name server (DNS) settings have been infected by DNSchanger,  will no longer be protected and they could lose their internet connectivity. Basically, they won’t be able to reach DNS servers or websites.

So what must you do? 

Use the checker tools provided by the FBI – below are 2 links.

HOWEVER, some ISP’s redirect traffic automatically, even if your machine is infected, it will show up as clear. You are advised to also do a manual check. The steps are really easy to follow, it only takes a few seconds (literally) and you do not need to download anything. To make it even easier, instructions come with screen shots so you will know exactly what to look for.

Follow the link http://www.dcwg.org/ and click on “detect”. In the new page, scroll down and click on your operating system 9e.g. Windows 7), then follow the easy, illustrated steps 1 to 5. The site also supplies the range of IP addresses that you need to check for.

What if my computer is infected?

Tools and instructions to fix your computer can be found on DCWG’s fix page.  More tools to remove the virus can be obtained from Kapersky, Trend Micro, Microsoft and McAfee.

South Africa is not expected to be badly affected by “doomsday” but it is better to be safe than sorry!

Graphic Revelations Browser Toolbar

We now sport our very own, custom, Graphic Revelations TOOLBAR!!!  that you can now download and install to your favourite browser. Follow the link or just go straight to any page on our  main website and click the “download our toolbar” icon in the side bar of some pages or at the bottom of each page.  Our custom toolbar will give you easy access to the new support ticket page with its built in shortcut. Click the small favicon to the right of your browser search bar to activate. You will also find shortcuts to our main pages, order page, promotions and news from our RSS feed. Now isn’t that something to get exited about!  And you don’t have to worry about viruses or anything, our toolbar was created by the very reputable alexa.com.

Ticket Support System

Secondly, we have a brand new ticket support system so you can submit your queries, problems, request new services, etc via an easy access panel. Just click “add new ticket” tell us who you are and what need. That’s it! You don’t even have to sign up or sign in!  You will receive an email with your ticket number and a link that you can click at any time to track the progress of your query.  You will be kept  up to date via the ticket system and you will even be able to respond or close the ticket. It is important to note that we will be phasing out email and telephonic requests for support.  We have implemented the new ticket system so that you always know the status of your ticket and so that we can keep better record of your support history.

When creating your ticket, you will be able to assign it to a variety of departments.  Please choose the best describes your situation.  Priority levels can also be assigned to your ticket so that we will understand the level of urgency. All thats left for you to do is sit back with a steamy cup of coffee and wait to see your ticket resolved!

You can navigate to the support page from the support button on our awesome Graphic Revelations TOOLBAR, from the top menu and the bottom menu of our website, with the support URL or the link that you receive on your ticket reply.

The “catch 12” is a 77 punch combo on focus mitts that include 12 catches (blocks). Its all about rhythm, timing and accuracy.

The class was designed by 13x world record holder Miracle Cuzzy for one of his world record attempts this year in aid of the GenX Youth Project. (he will be doing a 24hour boxing marathon on the mitts with students taking 30min turns). BE 1 OF THOSE STUDENTS!

He was the 1st man in the world to successfully completed a 6hr STANDING spinnathon (without a saddle or a pole) on top of a high rise crane while it was moving at Eden On The Bay World Record in Cape Town to the amusement of the crowds below.

He then broke the existing Guinness World Record by punching a Speed-Ball for 26h10min uninterrupted at Bayside Shopping Centre in Cape Town World Record.

He was the 1st man in the world to completed a 3hour STANDING spinnathon (without a saddle or a pole) on top of Table Mountain spinning into the sunset World Record.

At the end of 2010 Lukas set a new world record by balancing on a wheel chair for 10hours on top of a Bmx ramp with extreme athletes launching over him as the grand finale World Record.

Lukas found love again and married Shanerie in 2010, this woman he says “saved his live” by her unconditional love. They will travel the country preceding the “40 day around the world” event in November 2011 and attempt a few additional World Records before November.
