This is the first time I testing this new technique of manipulating a close range photographs (Macro) by carefully combine all those photo into one single photo where remove all the out of focused area and only take the clear focused area. Here are the original photographs I took. The end result of this photo manipulation is to visually transform a normal macro photographs into a huge landscape photograph, like normally you seen people captured photo from plane or satellite :)

I took these photographs using Xperia Z1 Phone.

STEP 1 : CAPTURE MULTIPLE PHOTO OF DIFFERENT FOCUS

Add clouds. Can be achieve only using mouse or better with wacom. I used both Wacom and Mouse with a custom brush.

Add filter so show that this photograph was taken high up from the sky, but its not hehe :P

This is the full edited photo manipulation. If you had seen this at first, you might not know those grass are pretty big. :P
Most people assumed that this photo was a photograph from spaceship or aeroplane as first sight.

This is the photograph that I use as reference to draw the scenery above. It was my very first scenery drawing using a wacom drawing tablet.

This is the scenery that I have dreaming of drawing out for almost 2 years and here it is. It has been drawn out. I plan to draw this during my National Training in year 2011. I have sketched out this scene in a piece of paper and I have on my another device. I will post it here as soon as I found it. ^^

This is my very first template that I am going to share to the world. Use it for non-commercial project only. This is a template that need you to customize the interface of the card.

This template is highly customizable. You can change the front and the back card and even change the illuminating surface for both sides! You can add up your own music and change the camera angle.
Its all up to your creativity!

Requirement:

1. Adobe After Effect CS3 and above.
2. Optical Flares Plug-in

Read me Please ( I will tell you how to use it)

1. There are few Composition I used in this template. The first one is *MAIN. In this composition, you will edit your camera angle, light intensity. Notice there is a layer called Control in the composition. This layer that will control both side of the card whether to move or rotate.
2. The compositions that you will need to change the interface of the card are;
     a) Front Card - (1050x600 pixel)
     b) Behind Card - (1050x600 pixel)
     c) Illuminate Behind (Optional)
     d) Illuminate Front (Optional)

* Both the Illuminate Behind and Front are basically plain white. This is to use for the card to visually illuminate. :)

     e) You might need to change the title wording - (Begin Title Composition) and the end title wording (End Title Composition):)

The invasion of Alien Intelligence (Ai) has begun to spread across the globe. Alien are assembled all their allied, spider-spy. Most of this species of spider are the the jumping spider family (Salticidae) – based on Wikipedia - contains more than 500 described genera and about 5,000 described species, making it the largest family of spiders with about 13% of all species. Jumping spiders have some of the best vision among invertebrates and use it in courtship, hunting, and navigation. – And Wiki forgotten to put Best in Spy in the description (Just kidding).

The Ai form a special agency called Alien Intelligence : Spider Agent or also known as AISA. It sounds so good like I would put it inside a movie! Entitle The Invasion of Alien Spider! (Just Kidding) hehe. Well this is just a story I imagine after I come out with the idea of alien assembled this little creature as their best spy agents. The spiders. These spiders, they are cute. Although some might thought they are disgusting.
I add up the smiley little mouth to this spider, because one, is to make them less creepy and two, coz these spider, their head can actually make up like a human. Just need to add those mouth, that's all.

The whole beginning of the story start when I found the original photo of this jumping spider photo (I name is Jarvis Lycoris) from my friend’s friend page. It was stunning. It totally catches my eye when I first looking at it. After a few negotiation, the owner gave me the original photograph. I was glad that he could give me. Trust me, his photograph was amazing. I like especially his macro shot. But this one is the best I ever seen.

53-year-old Sergei Bobkov has an amazing unique technique of creating amazing sculptures out of Siberian cedar wood-chips. To create something out of nothing in a completely new way is far more inspiring.

To create those artwork, Bobkov has developed his very own technique, that prevents wood-chips from falling apart, in time. After creating about 100-150 chips, from 2-3 inch long cedar stick, he puts them in water for several days. Then, making use of his surgical precision, he carves the chips into any shape he needs, life-size sables, squirrels, owls and so on. Even though he was offered $17,000 for his wood-chip eagle.Sergei’s Bobkov declined, saying his rt is not for sale.

This is ‘Duo Bro’ Wallpaper

I use two pictures shot in front of a green canvas. Then i combined both photos into a single wallpaper. Then, adjust the levels and Brightness & Contrast to make it white colour. The white characters look more modern and professional wallpaper. Next, put some text and place the background wallpaper. For the background, i use Blue-Greenish bokeh wallpaper. You can search more ‘bokeh’ wallpaper in the internet. This wallpaper looks simple yet modern design.

The Making Of The Wallpaper

I use both pictures and key out the green colour of the canvas. I recommend you to use PhotoKey Pro 5. It is very easy to use. Furthermore, you can also use Adobe Photoshop to key out those green colour. Here i give you some tips.

Its way beyond the normal painting that we know. This new type of painting, weel not consider as a type, its a complete new way to express the wonderfull colours and sense of art. Its called Tall Painting, where the Artists will pour oil paints on a tall tower of box. The oils paints woll slowly flow down by itself to the floor, same like the concept of waterfalls. That is what I can see. The oils paints will not mix each other, rather than it form a unique pattern of colours. A natural flow of liquids towards gravitational force.

Real Instagram Socialmatic Digital Camera Concept [Source]

Remember the old Instagram Socialmatic Camera Concept we discussed in detail back in May? Well, as it turns out, the folks behind the concept are now working on turning the concept into reality with a mass manufactured digital-camera-shaped-like-the-Instagram-logo that lets you shoot, edit, and share / print tree easy steps.

And we’ve got the details on the project right after jump.

The news comes directly from the official website of ADR Studios in the form a post in which they discuss the origin of the concept, its features, and the status of the project itself.

With Socialmatic, users can simply point and shoot photos in 1:1 ratio (the same a Instagram), quickly edit them and then, if they choose to, share it online on networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or via email or even MMS.

But that’s not its most interesting feature.

Socialmatic’s most impressive feature is its ability to quickly print your photos without requiring any external device. It will use technology similar to the one used in Polaroid’s old ‘snap and print’ analog cameras. The printed photos come with an adhesive back and a QR code on the front so they can be physically shared in the real world and then people can follow you (presumably on Instagram) using the QR code.

Currently proposed specifications for the device includes a 4.3-inch touchscreen, optical zoom, and an LED flash. Outside of being available in 16GB / 32GB and Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi+3G versions, the device’s internal specifications aren’t known at the moment.

According to their official press release, the camera will be powered by Android but will have a “custom OS substrate” on top similar to, perhaps, the TouchWiz UI on the Galaxy Beam Android-based digital camera.

As someone who already owns a powerful smartphone that can take high-quality photos, edit them and share them online, I don’t see much utility for Socialmatic. Sure, the ability to print-on-the-go is nice, but it’s just not for me; Polaroid camera enthusiasts will be interested in this, though.

iPhone 5 costs 12 cents lower than Galaxy S3 a year to charge [Source]

When discussing iPhone prices, most of the time the amount of money is pretty daunting. However, a new report coming from energy analytics firm Opower claims that the iPhone 5 costs a minuscule 41 cents a year to keep charged. Considering that the iPhone 5 boasts 8 hours of 3G talk time and 8 hours of cellular Internet browsing, the fact that it consumes less than half a dollar’s worth of energy a year is pretty impressive.

According to Opwer,

“iPhone 5: consumed 9.5 watt-hours to charge, taking 1 hour and 50 minutes. Maximum wattage was 6.3 watts, with an average of approximately 5.0 W. Multiplying 0.0095 kWh/day by 365 days = 3.47 kWh per year. Annual charging cost is projected to be $0.41/year.”

Now, recently the Samsung Galaxy S III has been mentioned quite a bit in relation to the iPhone 5. It comes in a bit higher than the fifth-gen iPhone at 53 cents a year to stay alive. Barry Fischer, one of the guys at Opower, had this to say on the matter:

“The paramount point here though is not the difference between the two phones, but rather their striking similarity: the energy consumption of a modern smartphone is minuscule”
