Good Web Design Process

Website Design and Development involves complex processes of giving shape to the company profile on the internet. It involves creation of different web pages which usually begins with the introduction about the company in the Home page and ending with contact information. However, it is not necessary that all website design follow the same suit it may vary according to needs, profile and preference of the clients. In order to create a good website there are some pre requisites which must be taken into account to ensure the end product i.e. Company Website serves and functions to its advantage. These are briefly explained as follows:

Setting short and long term goals for the website will help make the purpose clear and plan for the future when expansion, modification, and improvement will take place. Setting a goal practices and measurable objectives should be identified to track the progress of the site and determine success.

(1) Assessing of needs this is the first step. As a businessman you should have clear objectives in mind with regard to what you want to portray on the website and why. This is the most important part as the web designers and developers can define their line of work accordingly. Here one has to plan out short term as well as long terms objectives or goals in terms of expected response after the website is uploaded. Parameters should be framed which would foster measurement of company performance over a period of time.

(2) Internet Compatibility On the basis of the above factors, website professionals need to decide on appropriate software that best suits the priorities of the client as well as the browser compatibility.

(3) Nature of content this refers to the message that would go to the audience or consumers at large. This may include simple text, graphics, audio-visual animations etc. Strike a balance between information and appeal. Too much of visual treat serving no purpose can be very expensive, on the other hand too much of information can lead to boredom or even laxity on the part of the browsers.

(4) Target Group the next step is to analyze who would be the end users - young adults, children, males or females, corporate houses, professionals, students, domestic consumers or international consumers etc. It varies from company to company for example in case of a cosmetic company the target group is female consumers, a firm manufacturing food products such as juice or bread will target the consumers lying in the domestic territory of a country. Statistical data relating to consumer behavior, their choices and preferences, competitive prices, advertising trends etc. play a decisive role in defining the target group. Owners may seek advice of the various heads of the department such as sales and marketing to get a better picture of the situation.

Google Algorithm

Hello friends…Sorry for not getting updated for last few months। Here I am with some more information on google algorithm. As we all are experiencing that google dance has been started which is good as well bad for some webmasters. Google is going to change its algorithm and friend it is going to change all the present status of your site like page rank, backlinks. This time google robots are more strict and cleaning out all the junks from there database.

Social book marking, directory, forums and others from where we used get backlinks now google do not count that and it has given nofollow command that mean your links will not be counted by google robot। There are many things will happen in these days. So just wait and watch.

I will come up with more detailed information on google algorithm and its dance as I get more info about the same.

Importance of Alt Attribute

To get ranked in search engine you need to get the most of every page element. Numbers of elements are responsible for getting higher ranking one of them is ALT attribute, which is mistakenly known as Alt tag, when there is no such tag in HTML, it is an Alt attribute.

Alt attribute is used to specify a textual replacement for non-textual elements typically images, to be displayed or used in place of the image.

Many times images files are heavy and take time to get uploaded just imagine what the page looks like or sounds like when images are not shown to the user. Numbers of images are used to make site look good and attractive but site owner forget that search engine robot fails to read image files.

Write Alt text for each image that’s best works as replacement. Alt text gets displayed before the image is loaded even if it is loaded all because it’s used specifically to describe images.

Alt attribute increases sites usability level in search engine if one knows clearly where to put them, when to use them and why to use them.

Well friends calling Alt attribute as “Alt Tag” has become so common which is not right, I hope that this post will help at least some of the people to know about Alt attribute and its importance.

Search engine marketing is very competitive and webmaster tries to do all to get ranked in search engine. To get ranked in search engine is extremely competitive.

Spamming is growing popularity in net arena. Spamming means unethical tricks or manipulation of search engine guidelines to achieve a better ranking in search engines and there are several spam methods to get top ranking in search engine results.

All major search engine such as google, yahoo, msn consider website as sapm if the following methods are used

Hidden Text: Text which is not visible in web page. Hidden texts mean use of same color for background and texts. Search Engine considered it as spam.

Keywords Spamming: Keywords placing is an important factor. A keyword that is repeated too often is called keyword stuffing and it is considered to be an unethical search engine technique.

Doorway Pages: Doorway pages that redirect visitors to some other website or some form of cloaking. They are also known as gateway pages, jump pages, landing pages, bridge pages and by many other names.

Cloaking: Clocking is one of the black hats for spamming search engine. In clocking the user page content and the search engine spider content differs. The websites that uses cloaking method is considered as spam although the content is good.

Mirror Domain: Mirror domain means different websites with same content. It is the most popular spam techniques.

Link farm: Link farm is a spamming method in which a network of pages on one or more web sites that all are hyper linked to every other in a group to improve the search engine ranking of those pages and sites.

All this techniques may give you an artificial boost in the search engine ranking. There are also numerical unethical techniques which search engine consider as spam.

Avoid using unethical tactics-it will kill your business.

Title Tag in Search Engines

Title tag occurs in the header of a web page. Search engine gives important to title tag especially google gives a lot of importance to title tag content. Title tag is like an index page of a particular web page and it help search engine to rank a site.

Placing relevant keyphrases in the title tag allows getting good search engine ranking. As each page content of your web page is unique so as your title tag. Not only title tag should be unique but also it should be presentable.

Some of them use company name or name of website in the title tag which direct or indirect affects ranking. Generally it’s always best to place to the end of your title tag or never appear unless you actually expect searches involving your company name to derive high traffic.

Using the highly searched and relevant keyphrases will increase the chances that the search engine will find the page and your site will rank higher। If the page content and title tag are not related this will decrease your ranking not only that but when visitors see the title tag and content did not match they may leave your site and never comes back.

If you aim to achieve high rankings in search engine do not ignore title tag.

To rank in search engine result for particular keyword is sometimes difficult but if Webmaster understand and choose the right keywords your website should be able to get on every search engine first place.

Search Engine Optimization is vast topic to cover in one blog so I am starting a series of post about SEO Optimization and SEO Tools that will definitely help you all.

I am sure everyone understands and knows about search engines like Google, Yahoo, Msn, AltaVista and techniques used by them to optimize websites.

Search engine optimization techniques are mainly categorized into two type and they are White hat search engine optimization and Black hat search engine optimization.

White hat SEO follows search engine Webmaster guidelines to achieve top ranking on the search engine indexation. Where as black hat search engine optimizer go against Webmaster guidelines and use wrong techniques of SEO to achieve higher rank on the search engine indexation.

White hat is always good to be in fair competition. Well it does not mean that you can sit around and wait miracles to happen, for white hat result you have to wait for certain period of time.

Hello friends I am back again, sorry I haven’t been up to date lately. These days I have been kept really busy with my work.

Hey guys I think my pervious blog was good enough to introduce myself personality wise, so I have planned to write the other part of my life. This blog serves as profile of my work, as well as updates of how I am getting on as I start my career.

I am professional SEO (Search Engine Marketing). Currently working in private firm and do freelancing as well. I started my work experience SEO in October 2005. I have been really lucky to have this opportunity. SEO seems to be easy job but let me tell you my friends it is really a challenging job that required smartness to do the right things on right time.

When I started with my career, as SEO market was not so much developed. Slowly Internet marketing has taken the control over market and now you can see every IT development firm has their own SEO team to give good service to their clients. I found my freelancing work is interesting and would really like to work in the same field.

I enjoyed working in my pervious company. We where all 20 SEOs, it has been enjoyable as the teams are friendly and helpful and I enjoy a lot working with them.

On my last day, I ended up working with the team and said good-bye to all. It was a good full circle experience.

Overall, I enjoy my SEO job, and I am really lucky to have this opportunity।

I like to write, but how do I start? This is my first bolg in Blogspot.Okay first I will introduce myself to you all.

How would I describe myself Personality-wise, hm I would say I'm humorous, warm, loving. Like to speak truth. I'm spontaneous and have got a great sense of humour. I am confident and passionate about whatever I do, and always try to give 101%. I am very straight forward person and will remain as I am. Like to see smiling faces around.

I have been raised as a good human being, and treat everyone with respect and dignity. My hobby is very varied, like watching movies, music lover and enjoys dancing. I am found of colors and nature. I'd like to make a positive impact in people's lives, partly by focusing on being a good human being -- thoughtful and sensitive -- as well as by giving back to the community and those less fortunate.

I enjoy most things life has to offer and want the best of everything it offers… well it is always with ups and downs but we have to keep moving forward rather than giving up and regret later on as we know no one is perfect but we have to make ourselves perfect.
