Hello All

Premium Accounts

2012-07-21T11:51:00.001-07:00

You do NOT need a premium account to download files on this site.

All files are small enough for free users to download.
All links are interchangeable
You can download Part 1.rar from one host
And Part 2.rar from another host and the file will open!
This makes it even easier for non-premium users

If you do decide to buy premium account please use the link below. It will not cost you anything extra and will help this site.

Thanks

Netload.in are no longer giving credit for downloading files.

This means I cannot earn credits to pay for my own premium membership.

So all files I have already uploaded will be deleted by netload

if they are not downloaded by someone within 90 days. I am not going to re-upload and

I am not uploading any of my new stuff to netload.

Sorry I have already paid for two months membership at netload and I can't keep paying.

I am earning enough through filedino and filefactory to pay for premium memberships there so I will keep uploading to those hosts.

Did you come here from WJunction or Bolt?

Click Read More to see the information I have found so far. I have completed uploading the list of information.
If you have more information or experience with one of the hosts listed please post a comment.

Thanks

Based on great work by torrfriend & blowie & Ladybbird1 I created the list below.

These sites have their affiliate/earn pages up on February 15, 2012. So they are still telling uploaders "You can earn with us" I have heard that some sites (Oron for one) which have removed their affiliate pages from their website are still showing earnings on users statistics pages, but have not heard of any payouts.

I have also included Alexa ranking information to give some idea of how popular the file share sites are with users and forums. However I don't know if this is really useful because most forums require posters to code links.

Wikpedia has the info below on webpage about SOPA. I'm not sure how reliable it is because several .com websites still have affiliate pages up.

I can only find one website netload.in which does not have a .com or .net that has an active affiliate program available to USA uploaders. If you know of others please let me know by posting a comment here.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stop_Online_Piracy_Act

Even without SOPA, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) has already launched extradition proceedings against Richard O'Dwyer in the UK. O'Dwyer hosted the TVSHack.net website which had links to material elsewhere and did not host any files. ICE has stated that it intends to pursue websites even if their only connection to the USA is a .com or .net web domain.

I am personally uploading to

****I am so impressed, filefactory have re-opened uploading for free users by web upload and ftp upload within 7 days just like they said they would! They actually did what they said they would do. Just for this I will keep using for a few more months, even though they have gotten bad reviews on free download speeds****
netload.in

****Big disappointment. Netload just announced they will no longer pay for downloads. Only for premium sales. This is a killer for me because I just don't sell premiums. I'm keeping the info on Netload up but I will not renew premium when mine expires May 1, and I will not upload new material. I'm going for just 2 hosters now but may switch to freakshare.com or filesin.com as a 3rd hoster

The Queen with Helen Mirren * New Good Links 30-July*

2012-06-30T18:34:00.000-07:00

The Queen starring Helen Mirren focuses on the differing views in how to deal with the death of Diana. The Royal Family, while on their summer residence at Balmoral Castle, sees her death as a private affair, not to be treated as an official Royal death, in contrast with newly-elected Prime Minister Tony Blair and Diana's ex-husband Prince Charles, who attempt to reflect the public wish for an official expression of grief. Matters are further complicated by the media, royal protocol regarding Diana's official status, and wider issues about republicanism. The views of Diana's sons throughout the film are only portrayed through other characters.

Terror Robespierre and the French Revolution * New Good Links 30-July*

2012-06-30T18:25:00.000-07:00

The watchwords of the French Revolution were liberty, equality and fraternity. Maximilien Robespierre believed in them passionately. He was an idealist and a lover of humanity. But during the 365 days that Robespierre sat on the Committee of Public Safety, the French Republic descended into a bloodbath. 'The Terror' only came to end when Robespierre himself was devoured by the repressive machinery he had created. This drama-documentary tells the story of the Terror and looks at how Robespierre's revolutionary idealism quickly became an excuse for tyranny, and why a lover of liberty was so keen to use the guillotine. Simon Schama and Slavoj Zizek are among the contributors.

The Roman Invasion of Britain - Host Bettany Hughes * New Good Links 30-July*

2012-06-30T18:23:00.000-07:00

For several centuries, immediately after the time of Christ, the people of Britain found themselves if not the slaves then certainly the servants of one of the mightiest empires the world has ever seen - the empire of Rome. In this three-part series every phase in the long history of Roman Britain will be looked at. We will chart the way in which the Roman conquerors interacted with the native inhabitants of the land they called ‘Britannia’ and find out who gained most from the Roman occupation - us or them?

Part 1: Onslaught - The Romans came to Britain and conquered it, ruling the island for centuries. But why did they come and how did they succeed in the face of the inhabitants’ ferocious resistance? Using state-of-the-art graphic imagery and expert reconstructions of the Roman army in action, Bettany Hughes goes back in time to see how they inspired shock and awe. Hughes analyses the motives and actions of Roman emperors and generals, and of their opponents like Caratacus, a warrior from South-East England who became a hero to the Britons.
Part 2: Revolt - With British Queen Boudicca in the South East and the Druids in the North West, doubts arose about the Roman’s ability to rule Britain. Bettany Hughes visits places like the city of Bath and the village of Caerwent in Monmouthshire where evidence remains of how Britons were eventually ‘Romanised’ into a love of the civilised Roman way of life.
Part 3: Dominion - We investigate the lives of the people of Britain under Roman rule in the final episode of our gripping series "The Roman Invasion of Britain". After Roman control had been established, thanks to military bases such as the magnificent fort at Caerleon, the province of Britannia was relatively calm for a couple of centuries under 'Pax Romana', the Roman peace. However, whereas those at the top end of society prospered, the lives of those at the bottom of the pile could be tough and brutal. Bettany Hughes sees for herself the evidence of slave labour in the gold-mines of Dolaucothi. Bettany also traces how the Roman grip on Britain weakened as the empire's strength began to collapse.

Queen of Sheba : Behind the Myth New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T18:21:00.000-07:00

Queen Of Sheba: Behind The Myth follows the work of archaeologists as they piece together newly discovered evidence in the remote desert of Yemen to recreate the dramatic life of one of the most powerful woman of the Biblical era – consort of King Solomon and founder of the great Ethiopian dynasty that would harbor the Ark Of The Covenant. The Queen of Sheba is one of the most alluring names in history, synonymous with the exotic and erotic, but until now her real story has remained elusive. Who was she? Did she have a child by King Solomon of Israel? And how did her nation grow so powerful, only to vanish beneath the sands of time? Produced to accompany a major British Museum exhibition, the film gained exclusive access to the excavation of the Queen of Sheba’s temple in the arid heartland of Yemen, to unveil the enigmatic riddle of this mysterious queen

Apocalypse the Rise of Hitler National Geographic Documentary New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T18:18:00.000-07:00

Infamous for his crimes against humanity, Hitler's rise to power was unexpected and devastating. But how could a political party so intolerant gain so much power under one man? Using historical newly colourised and impactful footage, Apocalypse: The Rise of Hitler is a two-part documentary which takes a remarkable look into the Nazis' ascent, exploring Hitler's path from mediocre student and failed artist to totalitarian dictator.
Part 1: Becoming Hitler - Documentary charting the dictator's rise to power, from his beginnings as a struggling artist in Vienna to his eventual demise in Berlin. The first episode focuses on Hitler's formative years and how, when he returned home from the First World War, his nationalistic diatribes were largely ignored by the public, until the 1929 economic crisis put him and his ideas in the spotlight.
Part 2: The Fuehrer - With Germany on the verge of collapse, Hitler becomes chancellor in 1933 and sets out to ensure the Nazi party's members dominate every aspect of society. One year later, he is proclaimed Fuehrer, beginning an ideological and military programme that eventually lead to the invasion of Poland and the start of the Second World War.

Ten Days That Made the Queen New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T17:59:00.001-07:00

From the abdication of Edward VIII in 1936 to the death of Princess Diana, from the Suez crisis of 1956 to the murder of Lord Mountbatten, and concluding with the marriage of Charles and Camilla in 2005, this film analyses 10 defining moments when the Queen's judgement, beliefs and perhaps even her identity were tested to the limit. Not days of pageantry or stuffy celebration, but events reflecting the complex, demanding politics of monarchy. Featuring archive footage and eyewitness accounts, Ten Days That Made the Queen also includes interviews with Countess Mountbatten of Burma, Lady Pamela Hicks, Sir Roy Strong, Douglas Hurd, Lord Stockton, Jilly Cooper and Andrew Roberts.

Abdication A Very British Coup New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T17:55:00.000-07:00

Documentary which sheds new light on the greatest crisis to rock the British monarchy in centuries - the abdication of King Edward VIII. Usually, it has been presented as the only possible solution to his dilemma of having to choose between the throne and the woman he loved. Using secret documents and contemporary diaries and letters, this film shows a popular monarch whose modern ideas so unsettled the establishment that his love for Wallis Simpson became the perfect excuse to bounce him off the throne.

Britains Boy Soldiers New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T17:48:00.001-07:00

Ninety years ago, Britain's teenage boys volunteered en masse to fight for their King and country. Such was their will to fight that a number of enthusiastic boys joined-up below the legal age to enlist. Now, new research reveals that these boy soldiers were not just a passionate handful but a significant proportion of Britain's army. Additionally, the government has been found to have deliberately turned a blind eye to their enlistment.

At the outbreak of war, the minimum age for volunteers was 18, and soldiers had to be 19 before they could serve overseas. However, new research in the War Graves Commission records has shown that among the ranks of the British army were as many as 250,000 underage boys, some as young as 14, who had lied about their age in order to enlist. Desperate for manpower, the government ignored such irregularities, tacitly colluding in the decision to allow children to go to war. Using interviews recorded with a number of the longest-surviving boy soldiers, this moving documentary examines why so many were allowed to join up and fight, and what happened to just a handful of them.
It also charts the struggle of one man, Liberal MP Arthur Markham, to persuade the war office to tackle this issue, and to secure thereturn of tens of thousands of boys from the savage battlefields of Europe.
The nature and scale of 20th-Century warfare took Britain by surprise. Casualties were quick to mount up, and by late 1914, Lord Kitchener was spearheading his famous recruitment campaign, as a result of which 750,000 men joined up in just two months. However, in their haste to strengthen the army, the authorities turned a blind eye to underage recruits who claimed to be 18. Dick Trafford, a miner from Lancashire, was just 15 when he joined up. "I got home and I told my parents - my mother played hell, " he remembers. Tommy Gay, then 16, was among the first to answer the call. "When I got home, I got the biggest pasting and good hiding that I've ever had in my life." In their naivety, many of the boys envisaged a few months away fighting, followed by victory and a hero's welcome back home. The reality proved quite different. Smiler Marshall recounts how he was only 17 when he saw his friend, also under age, killed in action in France.
The reality of war was also unexpectedly harsh for Abraham Bevistein, who lied about his name, age and nationality in order to fight for Britain. After being injured, treated and then returned to the front, his resolve cracked under bombardment, and he fled to a farmhouse ten miles from the front line. He was found and court martialled for desertion by the British army, and subsequently executed. He was 17 years old. Horace Iles was another boy soldier not to make it home. As his sister wrote to him begging him to admit he was only 16 and return home, he was preparing for the Somme offensive. Historian Richard van Emden takes up the story: "You can only imagine the horror and the terror that would've gripped Horace Iles. What he would've seen was carnage, there's no doubt about that." He never made it back from the assault, and the letter was returned home to his sister, stamped 'Killed in Action'. Back home, authorities continued to ignore the issue of underage soldiers. There was only one significant voice of dissent. Arthur Markham, the Liberal MP for Mansfield, campaigned vocally and energetically against the fraudulent enlistment, fighting to abolish the practice and constantly quizzing the authorities in parliament.
At each turn, he was stonewalled by the War Office. Finally, in 1916, conscription was introduced, and with it tighter controls on the age of conscripts. But in spite of the efforts of Markham to secure the return of those underage soldiers already fighting in Europe, tens of thousands of boy soldiers already serving remained in action on the continent. In August 1916, Markham died of a heart attack aged just 50, and those boys serving in the army lost their one significant voice. Some, such as Tommy Gay, Smiler Marshall and Dick Trafford, made it home safely. Others, like Horace Iles and Abraham Bevistein, died at the front, despite being technically too young to fight for their country. Of the 250,000 under age boys thought to have enlisted in the war, 120,000 were killed or wounded. But it is possible that many more died unrecognised.
Tragically, the true number of boy soldiers who gave their lives may never be known.

Star Wars Tech * New Good Links 30-July*

2012-06-30T17:41:00.000-07:00

Lightsabers and Death Stars...pirate spaceships and bio-mechanical bad guys...the stuff of fictional galaxies far, far away, right? Well, not so fast. Many of the concepts introduced in the Star Wars saga can actually be examined scientifically, allowing us to separate the fact from fiction. Star Wars Tech, a new one-hour DVD documentary that is a StarWarsShop exclusive, offers a fast-paced, informative, fun trip through the galaxy that answers our most pointed questions about the practical science of the Star Wars universe:

    * Could a lightsaber actually store light to be wielded as a deadly weapon?
    * How powerful would a creation like the Death Star have to be to destroy an entire planet?
    * Can holographic messages really be stored and projected in a droid like R2-D2?
    * How plausible are the biomechanics of the world's most notorious half-man, half-machine, Darth Vader?
Originally aired on The History Channel, Star Wars Tech consults leading scientists in the fields of physics, prosthetics, laser technology, engineering and astronomy and examines the plausibility of Star Wars technology based on science as we know it today. You don't need the wisdom of Obi-Wan Kenobi to get the answers -- Star Wars Tech has them all! Length: 00:45:28

The Hunt for Bin Laden New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T16:50:00.000-07:00

ITV’s documentary The Hunt for Bin Laden exposes the inside story of the most intensive manhunt in US history. This two-hour special marks the first anniversary of the raid that killed Osama Bin Laden and chronicles the chase for America’s most-wanted man – which spanned decades, sparked wars, and defined presidencies. It highlights a string of grave mistakes and missed opportunities, characterising successive US administrations’ attitudes towards tackling the threat of Bin Laden and al Qaeda. Packed with exclusive interviews with military leaders, CIA chiefs, FBI agents and White House insiders from three presidential terms, this Brook Lapping production vividly tells the story of a 20-year cat and mouse game to bring the world’s most notorious terrorist to justice. Their accounts highlight how the new type of enemy Bin Laden represented provoked confusion within the US leadership about how he could be dealt with - as a criminal to be brought to justice, or a mortal foe to be destroyed by any means including military action - and expose critical structural and legal barriers prior to 9/11 that prevented the country’s intelligence agencies from working together effectively to capture their target.

In Search of Shakespeare New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T16:49:00.000-07:00

In Search of Shakespeare is a four-part series exploring the life of the world's greatest and most famous writer. Surprisingly, it is the first time that a full-scale life of William Shakespeare has been attempted on TV. The film is set the life of the poet in the turbulent times in which he lived. In Episode One, we are introduced to the dark side of Queen Elizabeth's police state – in a time of surveillance, militarism and foreign wars. Shakespeare lived through the Spanish Armada, the Gunpowder Plot, the colonization of the New World and the beginnings of British power in America. But most important, he also saw at first hand England's Cultural Revolution; an enforced split with the old medieval English spirit world which was to lead the English people into a brave new Protestant future.

UFO Files

2012-06-30T15:17:00.000-07:00

The program covered the phenomena of unidentified flying and submerged objects, close encounters with alleged extraterrestrial life, and alleged military and government cover-up conspiracies.

Season 1
Episode 1: UFO Hot Spots 352MB - For those who study the UFO phenomenon, "UFO Hot Spots" are places around the globe known for a long history of UFO sightings and reports. From Brazil to Mexico, from Washington State to Florida, multiple witnesses, including air traffic controllers and even military personnel, confirm that something unexplained is repeatedly happening in the night sky. Tales of alien abductions, bizarre and chilling photographs of UFOs, and hours of videotape all abound as we search for UFO Hot Spots.

Episode 2: When UFOs Arrive 320MB - When UFOs Arrive It's all hush-hush as we track a secretive global paper trail, delving into government plans on how to deal with other-planet visitors. Searching historical records, we find that protocols are in place--from the U.S. military's JANAP-146 reporting requirements to France's Cometa files, from Chapter 13 of the FEMA Fire Officer's Guide to Disaster Control titled "Enemy Attack and UFO Potential", to a now-repealed federal law titled "Extraterrestrial Exposure". Alien Encounters (''original airdate: December 31, 2006''): Since the 1960s, thousands of UFO landings, flyovers and collisions have left scientific evidence behind for study. These events have become known in the field of UFOlogy as the "trace cases." There are over 3,000 documented UFO physical trace cases and they have occurred in over 90 countries around the world. From impressions in the dirt, burned or broken vegetation and trees to scientific abnormalities that have yet to be explained, trace cases offer up some of the most convincing evidence of the UFO reality.
Episode 3: UFOs in the Bible 321.1 MB - UFOs in the Bible: Journey back through time into the mysterious history of UFOs as revealed through ancient biblical texts. Through intensive reinterpretation of early religious documents, researchers believe that they have found evidence of ancient UFO activity. From Elijah's flying "chariots of fire" and Ezekiel's "wheels within wheels in the sky" to the enigmatic aerial phenomenon that lead Moses during the Exodus, we apply a modern perspective to the writings of the Bible in the context of UFOs.
Episode 4: Roswell: Final Declassification. 318MB - Roswell: Final Declassification: In 1947, a strange object fell from the sky near Roswell, New Mexico, and controversy brewed over what it really was. In November 2001, we convened a team of experts at the National Archives for an exclusive first look at the top-secret government files of the UFO incident. We unveil the remaining classified files--11 boxes with 17 notebooks of declassified files, photos, transcripts and audiotapes of dozens of witnesses, and 22 films and videos--in a definitive statement on the 50-year-old mystery.
Episode 5:Crop Circle Controversy - Crop Circle Controversy: The puzzling formations known as crop circles have appeared worldwide throughout history. In the Middle Ages, they were called "witch" or "pixie" circles, and a 1678 woodcut, the "Mowing Devil", depicts one thought to be Satan's work. But in the 1980s, the phenomenon escalated, with dozens of crop circles popping up in England and other countries. When two Englishmen claimed they had perpetrated the hoax, many felt the riddle was solved. And yet, more have materialized. We explore the mystery.
Episode 6: Area 51: Beyond Top Secret UFO Files Area 51 : Beyond Top Secret 332MB - An investigation into the activity surrounding the top secret facility in Nevada known as Area 51 – looking into its history in developing advanced military aircraft and rumors it is reverse engineering alien spacecraft.
Episode 7: UFOs: Then and Now? The Innocent Years 125.81 MB - UFOs: Then and Now? The Innocent Years In a comprehensive series investigating the UFO experience, we begin with a review of surprising imagery from cave paintings to Medieval frescoes to Renaissance art. In an investigation of some of the most puzzling UFO sightings in Soviet history, we uncover the work of an underground network of believers and reveal a clandestine 13-year government investigation of UFOs. Many Russian UFO enthusiasts believe that proof of alien encounters exists--but it's being hidden from them! We also meet George Knapp, an American broadcast journalist who traveled to Russia in the early 1990s and believes there's a treasure trove of KGB UFO files that remain top-secret.
Episode 9: UFOs: Then and Now? Cause for Alarm 365MB - UFOs: Then and Now? Cause for Alarm: Studies some of the most disturbing UFO sightings, including: a 4-day extravaganza in 1952, when UFOs cruised the skies over the White House; sightings in 1967 near a secret US/Canadian submarine detection base; controversial events at the UK/US air base at Bentwaters, England; and the military's Test Area 51 in Nevada. Recounts the recorded UFO encounters that have taken place near test ranges, air bases and nuclear power plants. Included: a widely reported July 1952 sighting over Washington, D.C. Episode 10: UFOs: Then and Now? Nightmare 337MB - UFOs: Then and Now? Nightmare: UFO Files examines the most debatable aspect of alien contact--human abduction! From the first recorded case, the 1961 kidnapping of Betty and Barney Hill, to the 1976 Allagash Incident, when four friends were whisked away while on a camping trip, we hear firsthand from participants and a neuroscientist, who offers more earthbound solutions.
Episode 11: UFOs: Then and Now? Aliens and ContacT 329MB - UFOs: Then and Now? Aliens and Contact: On July 11, 1991, thousands across Mexico looked skyward during a total eclipse and were greeted with a wave of UFO sightings. Was this a prelude to imminent contact? Or will humans get to the aliens first? Join us for a review of mankind's efforts to reach out to Extraterrestrial Intelligence as we listen for a cosmic signal that we are not alone!
Episode 12: Secret UFO Files 309MB - Secret UFO Files: For more than a half-century, America's Central Intelligence Agency has systematically suppressed, distorted, and even fabricated reports of UFO sightings. With the assistance of the CIA's official historian and newly declassified documents, we provide an objective, balanced, and at times, highly controversial examination of the secret role the CIA has played over the years in concealing and controlling the official records of reported UFO sightings throughout the country.
Episode 13: Cattle Mutilations / New UFO Revelations: Cattle Mutilations 324MB - Cattle Mutilations: A rancher's nightmare, the mysterious murder of livestock has plagued farmlands worldwide for generations. Commonly known as cattle mutilations, these bizarre deaths happen to horses, goats, sheep, rabbits, and others, though the most frequent victims are cattle. Most often, udders, ears, tongues, and eyes are somehow surgically removed from the animal without spilling a drop of blood! We explore the prevailing belief that extraterrestrial beings bear responsibility for these grotesque, bloodless slaughters. Alien presence provides an explanation for the manner of killings and the ability to perform the delicate operation so consistently and so precisely. Viewers will watch an actual field investigation unfold as we delve into the history of the cattle mutilation phenomenon and its connection to UFOs.
Episode 14: Alien Encounters 335.51 MB - Alien Encounters: Since the 1960s, thousands of UFO landings, flyovers and collisions have left scientific evidence behind for study.
Episode 15: New UFO Revelations: The Gray's Agenda 354MB - The Gray's Agenda: According to ufologists, the Grays--beings from another world--abduct humans, implant devices, and conduct reproductive experiments. The most "familiar" aliens, we see their images in every media. What do they want? Where are they from? Do alien life forms kidnap humans in order to replicate their dying race? Is our government in collusion with extraterrestrials in exchange for advanced technology? Hundreds of eyewitnesses swear they encountered aliens and dozens claim they have actual physical proof. To test their claims and sift fact from fiction, we conduct a hypnotic regression in which abductees relive shocking alien encounters, witness surgery to remove a foreign object, and sweep the night sky looking for possible alien-inhabited planets. So join us as we go in search of the Grays and their alien agenda. The phenomenon of alien abduction is reviewed. Hypnotic regression is conducted and an alleged implant is removed.
Episode 16: New UFO Revelations: China's Roswell 336MB - China's Roswell. Legends from China tell of 716 mysterious stone discs, known as "The Dropa Stones". Some believe the stones hold secrets about ancient contact with extraterrestrials. Discovered in a cave in 1938, each 12" disc contains a double spiral of tiny hieroglyphs that are said to contain the historical record of an alien race called the Dropa that crash-landed in an isolated region of China 12,000 years ago. The story of the Dropa Stones is an amazing tale filled with mystery, deceit, and conspiracy, and today, skeptics and true believers wage an ongoing battle over what they are, what they mean, and if they even exist at all. Regardless, the Dropa Stones continue to consume the imaginations of scientists, journalists, historians, UFO buffs, and stargazers in general.

Season 2
Episode 1: Ancient Aliens 310.34 MB - Ancient Aliens: Since the dawn of time, stargazers have looked to the sky wondering if earth has had heavenly visitors. Scientists investigate ancient ruins, artifacts, and texts from around the world exploring the possibility of previous extraterrestrial visits and the plausibility of future stopovers! In modern times, the first UFO was reported in 1947. Join us for the amazing story of Britain's X-Files as we examine the bizarre and intriguing history of Britain's UFO phenomenon. The journey takes in skeptical prime ministers, senior RAF officers, and Royal believers Prince Philip and Lord Mountbatten. It begins in 1950, when Clement Attlee's government established the extraordinary Flying Saucer Working Party, and ends in 2000, when the Ministry of Defense disbanded its UFO intelligence unit. In between, flying saucers played on deep fears of the Communist threat during the Cold War, and exploded into popular culture in the 1960s. But why did flying saucers suddenly appear in England, and why did the government take so long to admit that something was going on? We track down eyewitnesses and reveal the incredible true story of an encounter in 1955 between Prince Philip's equerry and a mysterious "alien" called Mr. JanusEpisode 4: Kecksburg UFO 336MB - Kecksburg UFO: What came down in the forest outside the sleepy hamlet of Kecksburg|Kecksburg, Pennsylvania on December 9, 1965? Some residents claimed to see an acorn-shaped metal object with strange, hieroglyphic writing on its side, half-buried on the forest floor. Astronomer Von Del Chamberlain wrote that the Kecksburg object was a meteorite. NASA consultant James Oberg theorized that it was a failed Russian probe, but now also thinks it was probably a meteorite. Often called the "Pennsylvania Roswell" in UFO circles, the debate raged until, in late December 2003, NASA finally released 39 pages of material and the Air Force released 2,800 pages on the case from its files. The only thing the government documents conclusively prove is that the object was not a Russian probe. But for UFO enthusiasts and researchers, many questions remain unanswered.
Episode 5: Majestic 12: UFO Coverup 336MB - Majestic 12: UFO Coverup: What really happened in Roswell, New Mexico in the summer of 1947? Did a flying saucer crash in the vast desert scrubland? The initial United States Army Air Force press release claimed they had recovered a flying disk. But a day later, the story dramatically changed--now they called it a weather balloon! In 1987, secret documents surfaced indicating the existence of the "Majestic 12"--an elite group of scientists and military and intelligence officials, allegedly brought together by President Harry S. Truman. Did the MJ-12 truly exist? If so, did these men forever trivialize the most talked-about UFO event in history, as well as all UFO sightings thereafter?
Episode 6: The Day After Roswell 336MB - The Day After Roswel: Delve into the aftermath and repercussions of the 1947 Roswell incident, when many believe an alien spacecraft crashed in New Mexico. Based on The Day after Roswell by Lt. Col. Philip J. Corso and William Birnes, we explore if technologies like the laser, fiber optics, the integrated circuit, super-strong fibers, and night vision were developed with the aid of aliens. Career officer Corso claims his first alien encounter came on July 6, `47, while on late-night security rounds at Ft. Riley, Kansas, where he saw bodies of EBEs (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities) inside shipping crates. In 1961, as Chief of Foreign Technology in the Army's department of Research and Development, his job included analyzing alien technology from Roswell, then introducing it into America's technological mainstream--thus, reverse-engineering alien artifacts. And we talk to many scientists involved at the time, who credit hard work, not alien contact, with these technological advances.
Episode 7: UFO Hunters - Meet the determined individuals who are convinced they can uncover proof of extraterrestrial intelligence. Go on location to some of the most significant UFO sites on earth. The UFO FILES probes the latest theories and examines all the evidence in search of the truth. Meet world-famous UFO experts and the skeptics who debunk their findings. They look to the stars, to earth, and within the human body. They are the UFO research elite that seek answers to the mysteries of the UFO phenomenon. Their determination, attitude, and methodologies stand strong against ridicule and disbelief. In the end, UFO hunters exhibit scientific evidence that pushes the boundaries of modern-day thinking. At annual conferences, they share findings and are often stunned by the commonality of their cases. The UFO FILES follows these devotees as they search for UFOs and investigate crash sites. Their hunts for physical evidence of UFOs and alien life forms sometimes end up in global wild goose chases, but there are other times when what they find might possibly prove that it is possible that we are not alone in the universe.
Episode 8: UFOs and the White House 369MB - UFOs and the White House: Did you know that the office of President of the United States has had a direct involvement with UFOs for over 50 years? Since WWII, every Chief Executive has publicly discussed, issued, or received documents from the White House pertaining to "Unidentified Flying Objects". Many of these documents have never been seen on television before and some of the stories surrounding these UFO-presidential encounters are broadcast for the first time. Find out which administrations had to defend our country from unidentified objects...who was sitting in the Oval Office during the biggest UFO sightings...and how the government's UFO files are handled, depending on political affiliations. We'll gather the facts and glean information from presidential libraries that reveal startling insight on UFOs and the White House.
Episode 9: Russian Roswell - Russian Roswell: Welcome to the remote, top-secret military base Kapustin Yar, the Soviet "Area 51"--where the wreckage from no fewer than eight UFO crash incidents and their occupants were transported and studied between 1945 and 1991. We expose this never-before-seen installation through interviews, on-camera tours, dramatic reenactments, and extensive recreations. We also explore the many Russian UFO crashes over the decades and show the ways in which Soviet UFO research scientists at Kapustin Yar used and processed the wreckage...and the alien bodies. Join us as we investigate the facts and myths surrounding Kapustin Yar, as well as the many UFO crashes that still circulate in the lore and consciousness of the Russian people.
Episode 10: Real UFOs: Ever since the military started using sophisticated airplanes, they have sought ways to build an aircraft that can fly undetected, maneuver like a helicopter and fly like a jet. The Nazis were the first to pursue the idea of building a disc-shaped aircraft. After the war, the Americans, Canadians and Russians all were able to build aircraft similar to the German prototype, perhaps based on the concepts smuggled out by German engineers. This Episode looks at top secret flying saucer designs of the Air Force, with specific dates, times and locales of flights that may point to the real explanation behind the many UFO sightings beginning in 1947, and why the saucer design was abandoned for stealth technology.
Episode 11: Beyond the War of the Worlds 333MB - Beyond the War of the Worlds: In print for over 100 years, H.G. Wells seminal work The War of the Worlds has thrilled millions. We now bring you the inside story of not just the book but the phenomena of this amazing story. From the original publication in 1896 to the recent Steven Spielberg movie, and from the 1938 broadcast to the little known 1968 panic in upstate New York, we delve into the mysteries surrounding this amazing, long-lived tale.
Episode 12: Alien Engineering: Part 1: Suppose humans recovered a crashed alien spacecraft crashed. What could we learn from it? Using data gleaned from years of UFO sightings, cutting-edge animation and reverse engineering, "Alien Engineering" recreates a typical ship. Our experts show us what's "under the hood" of alien craft. At first inspection, the technology seems crazy, but according to our experts, nothing is beyond the realm of possibility. Amazingly, many of these "science fiction" devices are based on real science. And many have human-designed counterparts right here on Earth. Topics: levitation, anti-matter drive/torpedo, Fermilab, laser weaponry, forcefield/cloaking shield, cold plasma, stealth technology, teleporter, SETI, Wow! signal. Features interviews with: physicist Lawrence Krauss, theoretical physicist professor Michio Kaku, Geoffrey Landis (MIT Professor of Astronautics), Fermilab scientists Paul Derwent, Elvin Harms, Jr. (engineering physicist), and David McGuinnis; Coloniel John Daniels and LaTravia Robinson of the Laser Effects Facility at Kirtland Air Force Base; Paul Davids, Executive Producer of 'Roswell documentary, author William Alschuler, physicist Mounir Laroussi of Old Dominion University; Seth Shostak (senior astronomer), Rick Forster (research astronomer), Frank Drake (astrophysicist) at SETI, and others. Narrated by David Ackroyd.
Part 2: Prepare for an exercise in imagination. Suppose that an alien spacecraft crashed in the desert and we humans recovered it. What could we learn from its engineers? Using data gleaned from years of UFO sightings, we recreate a typical ship using cutting-edge animation, discover why aliens choose the craft shapes they do, learn how they overcome the effects of Earth's atmosphere, defy gravity, cancel inertia, and travel faster than the speed of light! Our experts--reverse engineers--show us what's "under the hood" of alien craft. We explore the technology that makes other-world visitations possible, what distance-shrinking device or wormhole excavator permits ships to travel space's expanse in minutes, and how the semi-transparent spacecraft skin functions. At first inspection, the technology seems crazy, but according to our experts, nothing is beyond the realm of possibility.
Episode 13: Texas' Roswell 336MB - Aurora Texas UFO Incident Texas Roswell: In April 1897--50 years before the alleged UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico--a mysterious airship crash rocked the small town of Aurora, Texas...or at least, that's how the legend goes! The tale includes the wreckage from the ship, a funeral for the dead "alien" pilot, and thousands of witnesses from across the country. And the Aurora crash allegedly took place five years before the Wright Brothers flew at Kitty Hawk, so whatever was in the air was not manmade. Eyewitness accounts of the crash, mysterious metal found at the site, and the hunt for the only known alien graveyard are all combined into a story that has even the most adamant debunkers baffled. Is this the case that finally proves that UFOs are real? Join us as we separate fact from fiction.
Episode 14: Mexico's Roswell 336MB - Mexico's Roswell: Coyame, Mexico is a small town not far from the US border. It's home to three thousand people and possibly the best-kept secret of all-time. In August 1974, the United States military was tracking a mysterious object over Mexico; then suddenly it disappeared from radar near Coyame. At the same time a civilian plane headed in the opposite direction is reported missing. What follows next is the stuff Hollywood blockbusters are made of: a crash site, a spacecraft, dead bodies, a covert recovery mission, and a government cover-up. Is this the story of the century, or just a piece of Mexican folklore? Over the last 15 years, Mexico has experienced an unprecedented UFO wave. While the sheer volume of encounters garners attention, it's the apparent quality, or credibility, of these incidents that has our attention. Through interviews with witnesses and experts we examine the evidence, and controversial footage released by the Mexican military reveals never-before-seen video.
Episode 15: Brazil's Roswell 336MB - Colares UFO flap / Brazil's Roswell: In September 1977, something amazing appears in the night sky over the Brazilian island of Colares in the Amazon delta--a luminous object hovering about 15 feet over the water. For nearly two months, strange flying objects visit the island--some big, some small, saucer-shaped, cigar-shaped, some luminous and some not. Witnesses report they felt as if blood had been sucked from them by the strange rays. More than 30 residents suffer puncture wounds or burns after their encounters. Two islanders reportedly die from their injuries. The Brazilian Air Force sends a task force to the island for three months and it returns with 300 night photos and several motion picture reels. Though a 500-page report is compiled, along with a catalogue of the sightings, maps, and interview transcripts, it's kept from the public. Then, in May 2005, a few of the details are released, but many questions go unanswered. In this unique hour, we examIne these mysterious happenings in depth.
Episode 16: Britain's Roswell.mpg 445.99 MB - Rendlesham Forest Incident / Britain's Roswell: Starting on Christmas night, 1980, Air Force personnel at a NATO installation in United Kingdom|Britain reported a series of strange sightings and encounters. Investigating a glowing object in the woods, they came upon a triangular metal craft which shot above the treetops after one serviceman touched it. Two nights later, the Deputy Base Commander and a team investigating the alleged site saw lights over a field beyond the woods and a red object. It sped off, beaming lights over the bases. Though some documents relating to the incident have been released under the Freedom of Information Act, the encounters remain shrouded in secrecy and controversy. On the night of the 25th, when servicemen spot a glowing object in the woods, they investigate and come upon a triangular metallic craft. One of them touches it and records strange etchings in his notebook. It shoots above the treetops and the men are later found in a daze by other troops. Two nights later, the Deputy Base Commander and a team investigating the alleged site see lights over a field beyond the woods and a red object. It speeds off, beaming lights over the bases. Some witnesses allege use of force and sodium pentothal during interrogation. A memorandum issued by the Deputy Base Commander, which records some statements, is later released via the Freedom of Information Act. More files are released in 2002 but, to this day, the events remain a mystery.

Season 3
Episode 1: Out of This World 327MB - Out of This World: Are we alone in the universe? Is the earth on the brink of a cosmic catastrophe? Do aliens really exist? And if they do, how do they get here? Long before man landed on the moon, people have been asking these and other questions that are out of this world. Perhaps clues to some of these questions lie in understanding the behavior of asteroids, life on Mars, and secrets that our government may hold about UFOs and Roswell.
Episode 2: Deep sea UFOs (USO) - Deep Sea UFOs: Join us for a detailed examination of the little-known phenomenon of USOs, or "Unidentified Submerged Objects", an advanced type of UFO that can operate just as efficiently in water as in the atmosphere. These supposed otherworldly vessels have been reported, some believe, as far back as ancient Egypt. Others believe that USOs were reported by Alexander the Great and Christopher Columbus, and might even involve the lost city of Atlantis. Highlights include the 1967 "Shag Harbour Incident", a government-documented USO crash off the coast of Nova Scotia, Canada, and a trip to the area around Laguna Cartegena in Puerto Rico, a reported hotbed of USO activity. Interviewees include the US Navy's Bruce Maccabee, UCLA's Kathryn Morgan, as well as USO and UFO experts Stanton Friedman, Bill Birnes, and Preston Dennett.

Episode 7: UFOs vs. The Government 320MB - UFOs vs. The Government: Looks at four reported sightings of UFOs in England, Belgium, Canada, and southwestern Michigan, deemed by experts to be some of the best evidence available on the existence of possible extraterrestrial spacecraft. We tell the stories, then disbelievers present their best guess of what witnesses really saw.
Episode 8: Deep Sea UFOs : Red Alert 369.27MB - Deep Sea UFOs: Red Alert: In this hour, we'll dive deeper into the ongoing mystery of USOs--Underwater Submerged Objects--UFOs that have reportedly been witnessed going into and out of Earth's oceans. The show features a dive into the Santa Catalina Channel near Los Angeles to search for trace evidence of a 1992 USO event--a detailed account of the USS FDR, a magnet for USO and UFOs from the early 1950s until its decommissioning in the 1970s, with at least eight major sightings. Australia's famous Tully Water-Crop Circle Case is explored, as well as many other astounding and recent USO cases from the US and the world. Interviews include USS FDR veterans Chet Gruisinsky and Harry Jordan, USO researcher Dr. Stephen Greer, and Australian UFO expert Bill Chaulker.
Episode 9: An Alien History of Planet Earth: Part 1 and 2: Nick Cook, a British aerospace journalist with a 20-year history of "getting below the surface" of some of the strangest military aircraft to take to the skies, applies his expert, investigative skills to a world of mystery and deceit--a fantastical place full of UFOs, strange encounters, and alien abductions. Much of his time has been spent at the respected journal, Jane's Defence Weekly. His job is to investigate secret programs--the shadow defense industry, worth billions of dollars, but hidden from public view. Now, with more people than ever believing in UFOs, Cook wants to know what really has been flying through our air space. He traces the phenomenon from early sightings of UFOs during WWII to the mass reports of alien abductions that swept America in the 1980s and `90s. Entering the world of bluff and double-bluff, he investigates such landmark cases as the Roswell Incident and the Zamora Sighting to try to answer the question: Are UFOs real?

For the first time, THE UFO FILES reveals actual cockpit and control tower recordings of these sightings. From a detailed account of the 1947 Arnold case, to recent recordings over New England and Texas, to NASA recordings and video from 2005, "Black Box UFO Secrets" features interviews with pilots, witness and experts, including UCLA's Joseph Nagy, actor Ed Asner, and pilot/UFO researcher Don Berliner.
Episode 11: The Pacific Bermuda Triangle 349MB - Devil's Sea / Pacific Bermuda Triangle: Soar above--and dive below--the dangerous waters off Japan known as the "Dragon's Triangle" While the Bermuda Triangle is a well-known area of strange phenomenon in the Atlantic, there is another, more treacherous triangle in the Pacific off the coast of Japan known as the "Dragon's Triangle". This dangerous ocean triangle has reportedly claimed hundreds if not thousands of ships, airplanes, and submarines since the first written reports in the 13th century. Could these lost vessels be the result of bad oceanic conditions or possibly something more mysterious? We'll get to the bottom of this unsolved world mystery. Interviews include Dr. Joann Stock, Caltech; Joseph Nagy, UCLA; Takuji Wasda, University of Tokyo; and Japanese UFO experts Junichiro Nirasawa and Junichi Yaoi.

Elected officials, UFO researchers, and former base employees go on the record for the first time regarding Hangar 18, the top-secret facility on Dayton, Ohio's Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Some experts claim that UFO wreckage and even alien pilots are transported to Hangar 18. Examine declassified documents that prove the "disk" from Roswell event and fragments of other mysterious crashes were shipped to Wright Patterson. Then hear accounts of flying saucer debris, alien bodies, cryogenic chambers and a vast underground network that may hold the secrets to the UFO mystery. Is there a conspiracy to hide UFO evidence from the highest branches in the U.S. Government, or is it all just a myth? Check out the fantastic galactic impound lot.

Season 4
Episode 1: UFOs of the 70’s 328MB - UFOs of the 70’s: Apparently aliens are big fans of disco. No other decade brought us as many close encounters as the Me Decade. Revisit those spacey days with this out-of-this-world DVD. The 1970s were one of the most active periods of UFO sightings. The most famous sightings of the decade are recalled and up-to-date information on the closest of encounters is provided. From Delphos, Kansas to Roswell, New Mexico, explore the mysterious and the unknown, and meet those who claim to have seen UFOs, or were even abducted by aliens. Is the truth out there?
Episode 2: Alien Hunters 307.33 MB - Alien Hunters: Man has long speculated about the existence of intelligent life beyond the bounds of Earth. But with the advent of modern astronomy toward the end of the 19th century, old myths were transformed into compelling new theories about alien civilizations. Alien Hunters documents the history of our search for extra-terrestrial life, explaining the technologies used, introducing the pioneers and revealing the most promising discoveries. Experts like Steven J. Dick, Historian of Science at the U.S. Naval Observatory, talk about bizarre 19th century plans to attract alien attention by creating giant canals of flame in the Sahara or enormous earthworks in Siberia. Frank Drake, President of SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence), provides a modern perspective. And examine mysterious signals from outer space that cannot be satisfactorily explained by any natural phenomenon. It's an inside look at the most ambitious outreach program ever - the search for alien intelligence.
Episode 3: Area 51 336.74 MB - Area 51: A mysterious, stark terrain, 90 miles north of Las Vegas, goes by many names: The Box, Paradise Ranch, Groom Lake, Watertown Strip, and Dreamland. But most refer to the region as Area 51. Since the late 1950s, an array of UFO sightings has been reported above its skies. In 1989, revelations of Las Vegas resident Bob Lazar brought Area 51 to national attention. Lazar claimed to possess amazing inside information, but he wasn't the first to state that something strange was going on. Those who discount Lazar's theories think the government kept its activities from the general public for a more plausible reason. The base, built at the Cold War's height, housed testing of cutting-edge aviation technology. The cloak of secrecy was to keep the Soviet Union in the dark, not the American public, and experts expostulate that the government perpetuated these theories to disguise its real activities.
Episode 4: Roswell Secrets Unveiled 303MB: In 1947, a strange object fell from the sky near Roswell, New Mexico, and the lives of many civilians and military personnel would never be the same again. The Air Force's key players come forward with their version of events that summer. Yet, alien conspiratorialists remain skeptical. Eyewitness accounts from Roswell locals and testimonies of respected scientists weave a pattern of inconsistencies that cannot be so easily dismissed.

1066: Battle for Middle Earth New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T14:56:00.000-07:00

1066 - The Battle For Middle Earth
Docudrama showing the basis for Lord of the Rings medieval vocabulary

The untold story of the Norman Conquest, 1066 sheds new light on one of British history's darkest events, not through the eyes of Kings and Conquerors but from behind the shield wall, through the eyes of the ordinary villagers caught up in the chaos. Combining full-throttle battle action, compelling performances and epic cinematography, 1066 is an epic adventure of invasion, resistance and war that tells the story of ordinary men and their families across three tribes - the English, the Normans, and the Vikings.

Episode 1
===
Crowhurst newlywed Tofi and his farmer friend Leofric are torn from their Sussex homes by the English warrior Ordgar and summoned to defend the English coast from invasion. But while the army of King Harold waits in the south, fierce Vikings set sail from the fjords of the north.

The Vikings land in Cleveland - and annihilate the men of Yorkshire at the Battle of Fulford. Hearing of this surprise invasion, our English fighters are ordered to march 280 miles north to repel the invaders. After an epic trek they meet the Vikings at the Battle of Stamford Bridge. But the Vikings have divided their force - and the English triumph.

It's the end of the Viking age, and Ordgar, Tofi and Leofric have survived. But news soon reaches them that the Normans have landed in Sussex. Their own homes are under attack, so they must run all the way south again to save all that they love.

Epsiode 2
Tofi, Leofric and Ordgar are reinforced by the Viking warrior Snorri as they race south to save Crowhurst and defend England from the Norman invasion.

We meet the Normans - an alien army of men loyal to the ruthless Duke William. Among them, the ruthless Ozouf struggles to command the loyalty of the aristocratic and gentler Coutances, despite the intimidating presence of the tongueless Drogo.

Just outside London, the English fellowship divides. Ordgar and Snorri stay with the dwindling army of King Harold, while Tofi and Leofric set off to rescue the women of Crowhurst. To their horror, they discover that Crowhurst has been destroyed. Stumbling across the captive women and children in the southern forest, they fight off Ozouf and Coutances, rescue Judith and the child Aelf, and take them to safety.

Gladiators: Back From the Dead New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T14:35:00.000-07:00

Drawing on sensational new archaeological discoveries, this programme recreates the world of the Roman arena through the lives and violent deaths of six British gladiators. Up to a million gladiators are thought to have died in arenas across the Roman Empire. And, apart from ancient Italy itself, Roman Britain had the highest density of purpose-built gladiatorial arenas in Europe. Interest in gladiators has been at an all-time high since Russell Crowe's sword and sandals epic. But the details of the lives and deaths of gladiators remain fragmentary. Now, featuring sensational new archaeological discoveries, Gladiators: Back from the Dead vividly recreates the world of the Roman arena and how six gladiators lived, fought and died.
The programme reveals how the various types of gladiator were trained in special schools, including Retiarii, who fought with nets and tridents, heavyweight Myrmillonis sword fighters, Thracians armed with special 'bent' swords, Secutors (literarily pursuers) who wore special helmets, and the Bestiarii, who fought wild animals. The programme follows archaeologists and forensic anthropologists as they analyse dozens of Roman skeletons found in Britain over recent years: individuals who evidence shows came from across the Roman Empire. And, using injuries found on the bones, including weapon cut marks and even large carnivore bite marks, as well as evidence of heavy training, the programme re-creates ancient gladiatorial life and death.

Secrets of the Great Plague

2012-06-30T13:01:00.000-07:00

Since the beginning of recorded history, infectious disease has reigned supreme as the number one killer on the planet. As scientists and leaders around the world brace for the next global health disaster, some experts are looking for help in the most unlikely of places—the past. From London's Great Plague of 1665 to the AIDS crisis of today, Secrets of the Great Plague follows medical detective Stephen O'Brien as he unravels the mysteries surrounding our most deadly epidemics. The horrors of the Great Plague or 'Black Death' could provide lessons that help save lives in the event of an infectious disease disaster.

Scientists probe the mystery of why some people survived the infection that killed millions over the centuries when it struck again and again. They have discovered a trick of nature that outsmarted the vicious killer. The same trick - or gene mutation - also provided the descendants of the survivors of the 'Black Death' with protection against a modern devastating plague, HIV-AIDS. Medical forensic geneticist Dr Stephen O'Brien is on the case and explores the occurrence of this mutation, known as Delta 32, in people across three continents. He brings exciting news that, with unpicking and examining this naturally occurring defence mechanism, doctors may be on the brink of finding a way to successfully treat AIDS, SARS, leukaemia, prostate cancer, breast cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and a litany of other diseases.

Mountbatten: Death Of A Royal New Good Links 30-July

2012-06-30T11:37:00.000-07:00

Louis Mountbatten was not only Prince Phillip's uncle; he was an Admiral of the Fleet, a statesman, Viceroy of the British Indian Empire, Governor-General of the Independent India and a First Sea Lord. But in the summer of 1979, on a sailing holiday in the Republic of Ireland, he became the victim of an IRA assassination. This documentary explores the events surrounding the bomb explosion, which took the life of not just Mountbatten, but his 14-year-old grandson Nicholas Knatchbull, a 15-year-old cabin
boy and 83-year-old Baroness Brabourne. Sinn Fein vice-president Gerry Adams said of the murders: "What the IRA did to him is what Mountbatten had been doing all his life to other people; and with his war record I don’t think he could have objected to dying in what was clearly a war situation." While the IRA saw Mountbatten’s death as a necessary action to bring the Irish
conflict to the forefront of English politics, the human loss devastated the Royal Family with Prince Charles losing his great uncle and mentor. This documentary explores how a wealthy Irish seaside resort became the site of such callous murders and how the events of that day still resonate through the town and the Royal Family three decades on.
