It's a very great news for Florida people that ABOUT a Contest.
Over 1000 people in Florida signed up to take part in the month long Python Challenge, in which the participant who kills the most pythons wins cash.
The contest, sponsored by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, began Thursday, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.
So far, officials have not reported any dead snakes, but the contest runs through Feb. 10. The person who kills the most Burmese pythons by that date will receive a check for $1,500
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said Friday 30 Burmese pythons have been killed in the Everglades "Python Challenge" that began Jan. 12. The commission said the snake hunt is intended to reduce the population of the invasive species and educate the public about the threat the snakes pose to native wildlife and the ecosystem

Tourist arrested in New York Only for His Wallet

An Italian man visiting New York said he spent the night in jail when he forgot his wallet and was unable to pay a $208 tab.

Graziano Graziussi, 43, said he was preparing to pay his bill at Smith and Wollensky when he realized he had left his wallet at the apartment where he had been staying, the New York Post reported Friday.
Graziussi said workers refused to accept his iPhone as collateral to allow him to retrieve the wallet. He said they instead called police.
"I found it completely unreasonable to call the police when I was coming up with possible solutions," he said. "I wasn't going to run away. I was there. I had just forgotten my wallet. "
Graziussi said he was taken into custody when he told police he was unable to have anyone deliver the wallet.
He was released the following morning after promising a judge he would pay the bill.
"I don't think they should have arrested me in the first place," Graziussi said. "I wanted to pay the check."
A manager at Smith and Wollensky said calling police is standard procedure when a customer can't pay their bill.

Beyonce Knowles-Carter at Obama's 2nd, 2013 Inaugural Ceremony

Beyoncé's performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" at President Obama's second inauguration was fabulous, but it was actually pre-fabricated.It has been confirmed that she used a pre-recorded track at the inauguration ceremony.

"All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day," Kristin DuBois, a rep for [The United States Marine Band] tells Page Six. "We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyoncé was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don't know what the reason why."

The Presidential Inaugural Committee (PIC) requested that the Marine Band accompany Beyonce Knowles-Carter in the performance of the Star-Spangled Banner at the 2013 Inaugural Ceremony. However, there was no opportunity for Ms. Knowles-Carter to rehearse with the Marine Band before the Inauguration so it was determined that a live performance by the band was ill-advised for such a high-profile event.

Bisexual Women three times as likely to be Abused

The first nationwide study to break down domestic violence rates by self-identified sexual orientation has found that lesbian and bisexual women are at higher risk than straight women, with bisexual women facing especially high rates.

The study [PDF], conducted by the CDC in 2010 and released Friday, found that 35% of straight women had experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by a partner at some point in their lives. But 43.8% of lesbian women had experienced one of the three, as had a full 61.1% of bisexual women. Researchers interviewed a total of 9,709 women — 96.5% of them identified as straight, 2.2% as bisexual, and
1.3% as lesbian.

Bisexual women were also the most likely to have been raped by anyone, partner or not — 46.1% of them had experienced rape at some point, compared with 13.1% of lesbian women and 14.7% of straight women. And they were more likely to report that domestic violence had negatively impacted their lives — 57.4% of bisexual women who'd experienced violence said they also suffered aftereffects like missing work or having symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder. Only 33.5% of lesbian women and 28.2% of straight women said the same.
Most domestic violence against bisexual women appeared to be committed by male partners — 89.5% of bisexual participants who'd experienced such violence said the only perpetrators had been male.

When Steve Baker talks about the inauguration, he gets a little giddy. For the company he works at, Hire Party Strippers, which does exactly what its name suggests for clients in the Washington DC area, inauguration weekend means a big boost in business.

"Oh my God, it's bananas," says Baker, describing the interest he's had so far. Hire Party Strippers does about double the business on inauguration weekend, during which he can boost rates about 25 percent. This means $650 to $700 for "two girl fantasy shows"; $350 for one girl; and $300 for one male stripper, though demand is never as high for men as women. "It's going to be really, really busy," Baker says. "We have a lot of people coming [to DC] from out of town, and they want to have adult entertainment in their rooms. It's crazy."
Strippers, escorts, dominatrices, and even sugar babies looking for sugar daddies are planning for a jam-packed — and potentially quite lucrative — weekend across the greater DC area. HOW TO APPLY FOR A VISA TO VIETNAM

1. A VISA to Vietnam can be applied at the Embassy of Vietnam as early    as six months prior to the date of travel.
1.1. Visas are required for all visitors traveling to Vietnam, with the exception    of citizens of some countries, and only for short stay (Updated information     about visa exemptions is available at the Embassy).
1.2. Applicants can apply for Single or Multiple-entry visas, up to 1 month, up    to 6 months or up to one year stay.
1.3. Applicants can submit the visa applications in person or delegate the   application procedure to a third person/agency.
1.4. Following documents are requested to submit to the Embassy:
• Original PASSPORT valid for at least one month beyond the passport   holder's period of stay in Vietnam.
• One visa application form dully filled in, dated and signed by the   applicant, with 01 passport-size photo stapled or glued on.
• Individual bank statement for last six months.
• Introducing letter from applicant’s employer (if any).
• Pre-arrival clearance of the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam or from the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam (if any).
• Return ticket.
• Visa fee.

2. Diplomatic and Official Visa:
2.1. Holders of Diplomatic Passports and Official Passports of the Government, Diplomatic or Consular Missions who are going on official missions are exempted from visas or visa fees. This practice is subject to reciprocal agreements between Vietnam and the concerned countries. In addition to the documents specified in (1.4), the applicant must submit a note verbal or an official letter from a relevant agency of the Government, an Embassy or a Consulate accredited to Bangladesh or an international organization.
2.2. According to the Consular Agreement (1999) between Vietnam and Bangladesh, Bangladeshi Holders of Diplomatic/Official and International Passports with "official" seal are exempted from visa to visit Vietnam during period of less than 90 days.

3. A visa pre-approval clearance:
• According to the documents specified in (1.4), the applicant must provide a visa pre-approval(1) obtained through his/her sponsor(2) in Vietnam. The Embassy will issue visas only upon approval issued by the Immigration Department, Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam or by the Consular Department of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
• If the applicant does not have a host/sponsor in Vietnam, he/she may contact the Embassy for assistance.

4. Processing Time:
• 5 working days for normal visa application.
• 2- 3 working days for urgent visa (additional fee required).

Ⅰ Visa procedures

1. How to get and fill out the “Visa application forms”
(1) The Japanese visa application forms are distribute at Embassy gate on every working day and also you can get it on the following webpage http://www.bd.emb-japan.go.jp/en/visa/visaapplication.pdf or you can find it through internet search, searching words are “Japan visa form”
(2) The forms must fills it out completely (refer attachment 1)

Amazing Treehouse Restaurant at NEWZELAND

The New Zealand Yellow Pages are building a restaurant 10 meters up on a redwood tree. It is now under construction on a site north of Auckland. This tree restaurant is designed by Pacific Environments Architects. This treehouse concept gives you an expression of childhood dreams and fairy tales. It is inspired by the chrysalis/cocoon safeguarding the emerging butterfly/moth. It has a 60m tree-top walkway getting you up to the restaurant and inside there’s ample space for 18 seating people and staff and complete with a bar. The kitchen and the toilet will be located at the ground level. The acrylic sheeting fixed to the roof under the fins to get the protection for tough weather conditions.
The concept is driven by the ‘enchanted’ site which is raised above an open meadow and meandering stream on the edge of the woods.
The tree-house concept is reminiscent of childhood dreams and playtime, fairy stories of enchantment and imagination . It’s inspired through many forms found in nature -the chrysalis/cocoon protecting the emerging butterfly/moth, perhaps an onion/garlic clove form hung out to dry. It is also seen as a lantern, a beacon at night that simply glows yet during the day it might be a semi camouflaged growth, or a tree fort that provides an outlook and that offers refuge.The plan form also has loose similarities to a sea shell with the open ends spiraling to the center .

Malaysia Visa Lottery Announced for Bangladeshi Citizen

Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain was present as the selection was made through lottery system at Eskaton on Wednesday.He said the winners would be notified through SMS to the cell phone numbers they had provided while getting registered.According to him, the first lot of workers will leave Bangladesh for Malaysia in the first week of March.

The lottery results can also be seen at www.bmet.org.bd

Of the selected, 3,646 were from Dhaka division, 2,287 from Chittagong, 1,551 from Rajshahi, 1,362 from Rangpur, 761 from Barisal, 1,279 from Khulna and 873 from Sylhet.Malaysia decided to hire workers from Bangladesh after a pause of five years. The two countries signed a deal in this regard on Oct 22 last year.Now workers can travel to Malaysia for work only under the government-to-government arrangement.

“A total of 30,000 workers will be sent to Malaysia. As many as 10,000 will go in the first phase, followed by the second phase of 20,000.”
The first batch of workers was selected from 34,500 applicants selected randomly through online lottery.
