New trailer, the first one in fact for Thor: The Dark World has made its way to the blogosphere today. It shapes to be an epic fight between Thor (and Loki, as speculated will join the good side at least for temporary job) versus Malakeith the Accused, the dark elf. Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, Anthony Hopkins rejoin the cast along side Chris Hemsworth as the titular character and Tom Hiddlestone as the ever affectionate villain Loki. The trailer is epic in every angle, of course, joining the awesome trailers contest which is currently lead by Man of Steel.

Thor: The Dark World is the second Marvel film to feature this year and also the second one in the mega second phase which will pit the world's greatest superheroes to go against Thanos (possibly). As for now, Iron Man has an issue to settle with Mandarin and in November, Thor will have an issue of his own too. Helmed by Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor, Thor 2 is another great movie to watch for.

The same day when Paramount releases the trailer for Star Trek: Into Darkness, Warner Bros counters with Man of Steel. This trailer looks more epic than Star Trek's, possibly because the latter has Christopher Nolan on its producing duty. Of course, any day when two super trailers are released, it is an awesome day. Check out the third trailer for Man of Steel below.

Zack Snyder directs from a story written by Christopher Nolan. Henry Cavill ,Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Michael Shannon and Russell Crowe star in this movie.

Who needs another round of Star Trek goosebump? Raise your hands now. Good. Paramount Pictures has released the latest theatrical trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek sequel for which you can watch now.

The trailer is yet another impressive take that will sell all of the excitements across the deck. Star Trek Into Darkness opens next month all over the galaxy. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch and Alice Eve star.

The Host lives up to the author's glory name in making a goofy, ridiculous and tasteless romantic silver screen adaptation for all the teenage girls around the world. It is an insult to this group of people because I believe they deserved better than this. After five torturing Twilight-saga experiences, I always assumed that I would be in the state of highly immune against this kind of poptart. Perhaps, I was wrong after all! The trailer for The Host sells the different perspective of the movie - car chase, gun fight and science experiments. But the truth is that for those who are familiar with this best selling novel - it is romantic first, sci-fi second and actions last. So, if The Twilight Saga did the job by representing the works of Stephenie Meyer in such a torturous way, then what does this movie represent after all? The Host cements that fact. Any movie adaptation of this author's works are not workable.

Green Tea Movie would like you to remember him. Without Roger Ebert, the inspiration to write a movie review will never spark. Ebert is the world's renowned movie critic who has been on the movie critic business long before I was born. He coined some of the most popular quotes including "Thumbs Up! Thumbs Down!" and "See you at the movies!". He started his career as a movie critic since 1967 with Chicago Sun-Times until his death in 2013 - that is almost 5 decades. His reviews are always spots on and he does not hide everything that he wants to say. Many describe him as an outspoken but soft writers.

Baltasar Kormákur (Contraband) is not a household name in the industry. But Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg are. When the three names combine, you have an interesting crime action drama that spells out as 2 Guns. It looks fun, even when it has that kind of plot that rhymes with cliches some where. But let's not pass the judgement to soon, because 2 Guns could be a late summer dark horse. The film itself is an adaption of the graphic novel of the same name by Steven Grant, the same name who wrote The Punisher. This movie version features Mark Wahlberg as Marcus Stigman, Naval Intelligence Officer and Denzel Washington as Bobby Trench, a DEA agent. Aptly entitled, we have the trailer for you as embedded right after the jump. Well, strictly speaking, the trailer gives way too much.

Following Rise of the Cobra, the world continues to face spiky threat as nuclear war is about to happen. The Joes are summoned to recover one of the nuclear warhead from the war-torn Pakistan, only to be betrayed by their own government. Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson) leads what is the left-over of Joes, an elite fighting force which also includes Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki), Snake Eye (Ray Park) and Flint (D.J. Cotrona). Coming home to the state side as the fugitives, the Joes begins to question who is actually betraying them in Pakistan. Their investigation leads them to believe that Cobra is inserting heavy influences over the current government and intended to use their technology to harvest power. They plan to retaliate and to steer clear the name of their elite fighting force; while enlisting a number of new allied along the way.

The Croods, the latest animation from DreamWorks Animation and the first to be distributed by their new partner over at Fox, displays the usual form of family entertainment we have seen before. With universal themes like family issues, man vs mother nature and surviving disaster, there are almost no other new substances been infused into The Croods. While playing the same and familiar themes over and over again, this animation manages to keep up as a well-packaged and conscious family entertainment. But the animation clearly has some problems, somewhere, that will eventually dampen the final quality and effects on the race for a better animation year.

Based on my own calculating simulation, such big scale invasion on the world's most secured building in the world could cost this Korean paramilitary group an estimated $1 billion at least. I could be wrong in my simulation but my point is that all the technology and tactics we see in this movie are costly yet not practical. In fact, Olympus Has Fallen is nothing more than a big Antoine Fuqua's fantasy of what would happen when the White House is taken over by a sophisticated and superiorly equipped terrorist group. For that imagination, you just have to see it to disbelief some of the aspects in the movie. But there are also some aspects that are commendable to adore.

In lights with the recent trend of flaunting popular fairy tale for re-imagination and remake, Jack and the sky giants is effectively one of a few such movies of the year. Two months ago we started the year with a twisted version of 'Hansel & Gretel' but 'Jack' has more star-worthy to offer. Once an acclaimed director, Brian Singer (Superman Returns, X-Men) directs a new breathe into this fee-fi-fo-fum fairy tale from a screenplay by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher, Valkyrie). Recognizable actors like Ewan McGregor, Ian McShane, Stanley Tucci and Nicholas Hoult star. The end game of this review is to determine whether this new film will marks a decent comeback for the director whose last good movie happens to date ten year ago - 'X2'.

Extraterreatrial horror is never a captivating and succeasful genre. The last major feature of this kind -Timur Bekmambetov's 'Apollo 18' ended in our year's worst list. Even last week's 'Spider 3D' looks so hokey and bad. But 'Dark Skies' should benefits from the household name of Jason Blum, whose producing hits include 'Saw', 'Insidious' and 'Sinister'. In the end, will this alien-cum-conspiracy theory-occupied 'Dark Skies' emerges as the year's dark horse of horror hit or this tricky genre will spurn another bad movie once more?

'Flight' is a personal account of one eccentric and always on-high pilot, Captain Whip (Denzel Washington) that illustrates his struggle in the aftermath of a freak air accident and his cognitive addiction to substances. When professionalisme and ethical conflicts, 'Flight' fulfills these interogatory with high regards. But is 'Flight' a good Oscar-vibe movie that satisfies and makes the challenge of conflicts noteworthy?

THEATRICAL TRAILER: IRON MAN 3

Good morning, check out the latest theatrical feature for Iron Man 3 now. The video that I have embedded above confirms the rife speculation how the story will eventually evolve to the much awaited Extremis story, Iron Legion and having to jump the Mark series to 30+, for so long. The trailer is basically an extension from the previous teaser trailer, but it offers more details in the forms of vision and adventure.

Iron Man 3 is directed by Shane Black based off of his and Drew Pearce’s screenplay, and stars Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, Gwyneth Paltrow, Guy Pearce, Jon Favreau, Rebecca Hall, William Sadler, James Badge Dale and the voice of Paul Bettany.

It is scheduled to be released internationally on April 25, 2013 in IMAX and May 3, 2013 in the United States.

FULL NOMINEES AND WINNERS FOR THE 85TH ACADEMY AWARDS [UPDATE WITH WINNERS]

[UPDATE]: We have updated the winners list. This morning, Argo scored the top prize of Best Picture, as predicted, while also garnered awards for Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Film Editing. The Ben Affleck-directed CIA thriller beats other heavyweights like 'Life of Pi', 'Lincoln', 'Zero Dark Thirty' and 'Django Unchained', among others to snatch the night. 'Life of Pi' wins the most award of the night with four, mostly on technical awards and a Best Director nod for Ang Lee. Green Tea Movie would like to congratulate all winners and nominees. As I have mentioned in the top ten last year, both 'Life of Pi' and 'Argo' rank as the top two movies of 2012.

[ORIGINAL POST]: The nominations for this year's Academy Awards is officially announced by this year's host Seth MacFarlane and actress Emma Stone, just moments ago. The drum-roll begins and the marching troops of the elite vote-goers are here for the nominees to bait. The battle for the highest achievement from Hollywood is only stiffened by the fact that there are plenty of good movies been released over the last few months. Fresh from multiple nominations at the Golden Globe Awards and BAFTA Awards, it is once again the same list of field-players dominating here. Unfortunately, some of the top contenders are not nominated causing some outcry already. In this post I have put my on-spot short analysis. A full analysis and prediction can be expected in the next few days.

David Mitchell's 'Cloud Atlas' is supposedly one of the 'inadaptable' novels that will pose challenging task for any screenwriter who attempts to translate it into silver screen. Against all odds, the team of writers comprising of the directors themselves still manage to pull it out workable. With six different stories interlocked in a series of events that transcends across the time and setting, Cloud Atlas is the year's most intriguing and most ambitious movie project ever made. The question here is will The Wachowskis and Tom Tykwer be able to provide a justified translation for this masterpiece or it merely lost in those translation?

The 16th President of the United States grows up in a poor but humble family who depends so much on the harvest crops. While Lincoln has never received formal education, his lust for law texts makes him a self-taught lawyer and begins a small step into the political career. Through his way up to become the leader of a fractionalizing nation, he wins his supporters and adversaries with a charming speech. No doubt, the history will always remember Lincoln as the practical man with good public speaking who abolishes slavery through the passage of 13th Amendment and a symbol of reunification of a divided nation.

Legendary Hong Kong star, Stephen Chow who defines the age of 'mou lei tao' comedy genre is returning in full capacity as producer, director and writer for the new adaptation of the ever popular Journey to the West saga. Stephen Chow extends his love for satirical love for Kung-fu, edgy comedy and Buddhism mantra into this. But realizing how this saga has been over-adapted into small screens, Chow goes for the story before the known story instead. He tells the origin story of the four important characters in a different way but is this enough to welcome Chow back into the familiar signature we last seen in ‘Kung Fu Hustle’ and to avoid the disappointing ‘CJ7’?

‘Deluxe Hotel’ is basically ‘All Well End’s Well 2013’, retaining plenty of regular casts like Raymond Wong, Sandra Ng, Chapman To and Ronald Cheng; while adding Teresa Mo and Fiona Sit but omitting Louis Koo and Donnie Yen in the line-up. The ensemble casting results in a mixture of feel good and interesting personality, charms and witty that are also unique to their own way. With a mixture of interesting main characters, the joke attempts in the first half are pretty good and laughable. The premise is all about a team of hotel management trying their best to score a 5-star rating for their hotel, which is intriguing enough to generate enough curiosity and excitement.

John McClane is back for another round of 'hard to die' movie - for the fifth time and now he goes international in Moscow, Russia. Sure, the last one was pretty much swayed from the original cowboy Yippee Kay-Yay movies, but changing the scenario to suit the modern technology seems fit. DC's round of non-stop counter-cyber terrorism looks fun. But is this trip of our favorite hot-headed foul-mouthed tough New York detective to Russia does the same job of delivering loud kick-ass action with a ride of fun as usual, or does it succumb to a tiring piece of repetitive actions?

The Hollywood Reporter broke the news this morning with Duncan Jones, the son of legendary musician David Bowie (Source Code, Moon) is attached to direct, with Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing for Legendary along with Charles Roven and Alex Gartner from Blizzard and Atlas Entertainment.

WARNER BROS GREEN-LIGHTS "ENTOURAGE"

Warner Bros. has finally given a green light to the movie version of HBO's "Entourage", a project which has been on the shelf for quite sometimes now. For those familiar with the show, "Entourage" chronicles the life of Vinnie Chase (Adrian Grenier), a popular and young A-list movie star actor who brought his three childhood friends E (Kevin Connolly), Drama (Kevin Dillon) and Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) from Queens, New York City, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Los Angeles, California. In today's news-mix, we look at the latest addition in "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" casting, the first cut of "Evil Dead" receiving NC-17 and new announcement on Brad Bird's "Tomorrowland".

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 CASTING UPDATE

Paul Giamatti (Sideways, The Illusionist, Barney's Version) could be up to join Jamie Foxx as the villain combo in the new sequel of Spider-Man. The Hollywood Reporter reported that Giamatti will play the popular comic character Rhino, one of the main villain along with Jamie Foxx's Electro. No official announcement been made yet as the actor is still in talk for the role. The Rhino (Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich) first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #41 in 1966 as a thug-agent from a Soviet Bloc country who wore a superhuman suit that made him invulnerable and had a deadly horn on top.
