We are having a parent meeting on March 6, Tuesday, at 6:30 pm in the orchestra room. We will be discussing the upcoming concerts, end of the year banquet, fundraising events for the rest of the year and the Symphony Orchestra trip for next year.

Winter Concert - Dec. 7, 2011 at 7 pm

Join us and support our Orchestra!

The Orchestra Winter Concert is on Dec. 7, 2012 at 7 pm. The booster club is having a fundraiser for our program with many fabulous prizes. We will set-up starting at 6 pm and begin selling tickets as soon as we set up. The tickets for the drawing will be sold at $2 each, 3 tickets for $5, and 6 tickets for $10. The prizes that are valued over $100 will need two tickets for one entry.

Entertainment Books Fundraiser

Orchestra is selling Entertainment Books again as our first fundraiser of the year! If you are interested in purchasing a book, they are available for $30 each. If you would like to pick up a few books to sell to fundraise for the orchestra trip this year, please contact Ms. Burger. The students will receive credit in their accounts for the books sold.

We have also scheduled a few shifts to sell the books outside of Smith’s on Sept. 17, so please sign up in the orchestra room to participate. It is highly recommended for the students to bring their instruments to play, it attracts attention and donations! Again, the students will receive credit for working the shift; the amount will vary depending on what is sold and donated. A few chaperones are also needed to cover the shifts. Each shift is one and half hour and the chaperones will be compensated at an hourly rate which will be credited into their student's account. Orchestra room has moved this year to a new and much bigger room! From the Gym, go straight and turn left into the first hallway, it is room 501 on the left. From the old orchestra room, it is directly across the courtyard.
