This is a company that me and a couple of my friends started just a few months ago to help the environment. What we do is for every sale we make, whether its a t-shirt or a wristband, we will plant a tree. These aren't just your normal "go green" shirts with recycling symbols and whatnot, but if you click on the shirts, you will find out the meaning behind these thought-out designs.

I know we don't have that much to choose from right now, but we are hoping to expand our clothing in the near future. If you guys have any ideas, or want to make any designs for t-shirts there is a contest going on in where you can email us your design, and if we decide to use it, you can win $200 and we'll even send you a free shirt of your design. They are also printed on American Apparel tees, which are usually around $18 for a basic color anyway, so your getting a nice t-shirt and helping the environment.

I know many clothing lines posted here don't do too well but honest feedback is highly appreciated and please show some support because we all know that right now the future isn't looking too good for us in terms of the environment.

We have a legal contract signed with American forests asc. to donate a tree for every shirt sold. We are legally liable to donate 250 trees a year, and if you check out our tree counter on the website, we already helped plant over 1000 trees with 1000 more coming extremely soon.

The t-shirts are $12.99 but even if you still buy a wristband that says breathe green on it, its still helping us out either way.

I think this is really the best idea, I've been using the same company here in San Diego for the last three years and it's fantastic. They drop off a living tree a week or two before xmas, and arrange to have it picked up a week or 2 after the holidays. www.Adoptachristmastree.com

It's a pretty small company though, the owner was looking into expanding to other areas, but no idea if they did that yet.

I came across vertical gardens a couple years back when I saw some walls from Patrick Blanc. He'd basically transformed the entire wall of a building in paris into a living wall. It was filled with plants and looked amazing. Since then I came across this eco-friendly wall art website that dedicates itself to finding out about vertical gardens and exploring different ideas of how to put them in your home. I found it to be super interesting. How about you? Would you use this in your home?

I would even recommend using candles as opposed to a heater, too. You can heat all through your house and if the candles are scented it will smell good at the same time. Just recycle the glass holders when you're done. : )

Set up a relax area
Set up a relax area in your workspace with personal traits, such as decorations, objects, and plants. Take a 5-minute break very hour, go to your relax area, close your eyes and enjoy the moment.

Green up your workspace
Put some green plants on your desk and bookshelves. Green plants release oxygen and refresh your mind.

Clean up your workspace
Go get some organizational supplies from local office supplies stores and pick some supplies for your desk and help you keep it organized and clean. Tie up or hide all the wires you have for your computer, printer and telephone. Keep your desk and work area clean and fresh. You can also get retractable cords or wireless electronics in order to things neat.

Use a filing cabinet
File cabinet is definitely a lifesaver. It helps you keep you office and business organized. It is hard, but stay with it, you will be pleased.

Make your working experience a fun experience
Pick up some interesting posters, signs, family photos and artworks you like to decorate your little space. Take a look at it when you are busy or under high pressure, it helps you to relax.

1. Bring them to local grocery store for recycling. You can find drop-off box in the grocery stores to drop off your bags and they will be sent to a recycling center in your area.
2. Use them for storage purposes
3. Wear them as gloves when you do cleaning
4. Take them to Salvation Army, so they can be reuse for shopping purposes
5. Use them as trash bags for bathroom or office
6. Use them as padding when you send out a package
7. Use them for soiled disposable diapers
8. Use them to pick up dog’s waste and keep the environment clean
9. Take them with you when you go to farmers market
