Greyfriars House wedding | Tannis & Matt

Yesterday saw me at Greyfriars House near Guilford in Surrey for the Tannis and Matt’s wedding. Set high on the edge of a fifty foot cliff, Greyfriars lawns are level with the treetops below and have spectacular views over the Surrey Hills and this makes it ideal as a niche wedding venue.

The following images are just a taster from the day and I would like to wish Tannis and Matt the very best for the future and they are sure to enjoy their round the world honeymoon. Have a great time and see when you get back!

Churchgate Street Village wedding | Matt & Emma

Yesterday saw me providing Matt and Emma’s wedding photography at Churchgate Street Village in Old Harlow, Essex. This was preceded by a ceremony at St Mary’s Church where friends and family joined them to celebrate their marriage. Luckily the weather held off and whilst it was not sunny it was certainly very humid and everyone had a fantastic time at the reception.

BEF Futurity | Catherston Stud

Tuesday saw me covering another in the series of the BEF Futurity young horse gradings and this time I was at Catherston Stud in Hampshire which is always a good venue to attend. There were some lovely foals and horses being evaluated and here is a small selection of some of the entrants.

Yesterday I was in Guildford in Surrey doing the pre-wedding photography shoot for Tannis and Matt who are getting married soon at Greyfriars House. This was my first time at this venue and from a wedding photography point of view it is ideal with very nice grounds and some good views over the rolling Surrey countryside.

Here are a few shots from the quick shoot and I’m really looking forward to the wedding.

Crabb’s Barn wedding | Kevin & Angie

Sunday was Kevin and Angie’s big day at Crabb’s Barn in Essex. I first met Kevin and Angie after I was the wedding photographer for friends of theirs last year and I can’t believe the time has come round so quickly! This was my first time at Crabb’s Barn and I have to say it is a lovely venue and the staff were were very attentive and looked after everyone superbly.

The honeymoon is going to be a couple of days in New York before going on to Waikiki in Hawaii – have a great time and see when you get back.

Creeksea Place wedding | Becky & David

BEF Futurity, Keysoe EC, 22 July 2010 | Equestrian Photography

Today saw another event in the BEF Futurity series, this time it was at The College Equestrian Centre in Keysoe, Bedfordshire. Yet again there was a very good turnout with some extremely good young horses and foals being evaluated.

BEF Futurity, Plumpton, 20 July 2010 | Equestrian Photography

Yesterday I was providing the photography for one of the Baileys Horse Feeds/British Equestrian Federation (BEF) Futurity Young Horse Evaluations that are run by the BEF’s company British Breeding. The Futurity is principally run to identify talented young sport horses and ponies who may go on to represent Great Britain at world class events or the Olympics.

This event was at Plumpton College in Sussex and is quite a gruelling day as I have to get certain images of every horse that has entered.

Kevin & Angie | Pre-wedding shoot

Today I did the pre-wedding shoot for Kevin and Angie who are getting married in a couple of weeks at Crabb’s Barn near Kelvedon in Essex. Wedding photography is always a pleasure for me but I am really looking forward to this one as Kevin and Angie seem so relaxed and they are obviously looking forward to their big day.
