I’ve begun recording, but it’s been a busy month. Been busy writing a novel. More details in the eventual podcast, which should be up by the 1st.

I am, however, slightly sick. And in more than the usual mental ways. Stuffed nose, scratchy throat. I’m on the mend though, and should be recording shortly. Lots to say, but want to save it for the podcast itself.

1. I start out with a few words and rememberence for my friend Kelly “Kielle” O’Guinn, a figure from the comicbook fanfiction community, who gave a lot of her time, effort, and love to that group, and the creator of CFAN, the Comicbook Fanfic Author’s Network. I got it wrong in the podcast.
2. A little review and thumbs-up for the new game, X-Men Legends 2: The Rise of Apocalypse. If you love X-Men, you’re gonna get a kick out of this game.
3. And I play a little bit of continuity cop on the videogame, calling them on the mishmash of continuities they shoved into the title, which is my only major gripe.
4. An Independent Focus on the latest IDW project, Transformers. And I apologize for not knowing any of IDW’s nonlicensed works.
5. And why I’m tired of all the Transformers reboots, and why TF is such a hard property to do right these days.
6. When is the first issue coming out? I have no idea. I thought it was this week, but I appear to be wrong. I love the loose scheduling of comics these days.
7. And a cat jumps in lap and purrs a lot.
8. This week wraps up with a few final words on Kielle.

This time around, I’ve changed the quality from 128kbps to a much more reasonable 64kbps bitrate, since that knocks the file size down considerably, with no appreciable loss in audio quality. If you’re listening to this, I don’t want to make folks download the high quality, yet still crappy-sounding audio. =)

Why that? Well, Grey Matters is the name of my comic-rants over at Collector Times, and the temporal lobe is the section of the brain that deals with hearing. “Grey Matters” is fine.

Right now, this is just a big idea in my head, since I kinda lack the mic or voice recorder, but who knows? Setting things up for now, juuust in case.
