Bitter sweet movie with Diane Lane as Adrienne and Richard Gere as Paul. <br />Adrienne recently separated meets Paul, divorced in a desolate hotel and weather the storm together (literally). <br />Of course they fall in love and start to cement a loving relationship after Paul makes up with his estranged son Mark (James Franco) all is well until... It took way too long to establish the characters. OK having said that I must say that I finished up thoroughly enjoying the experience! <br />The cast were quite credible I especially thought the John Hurt played his role beautifully, like the old stager he is :-)<br />Both Nicolas Cage and Penelope Cruz put in good performances. But the accents? Oh Boy?<br />My favorite scene was when the Italians marched on the Town Hall and demanded a surrender! Want to know why? Well even if you don't here goes anyway :-)<br />As you can tell I put advertising on my blog to try and earn a bit of spare cash. An old guy like me has to get a few cents where he can OK!<br />Having said that I am very selective on which Advertisements I put on my Blog. I hope that the ads make good reading for the people who visit me here at GreyPower Times.<br />Ok now to cut to the chase: I have had a comment from a youngster called Ben and he has thrown down the challenge that an Advertiser on GreyPowerTimes is a 'scammer' and to quote Ben <blockquote>"These people are scammers, theifs and will steal from you. The chemistry between Patrick Swayze (Sam) and Demi Moore (Molly) was electric and the by-play between the two of them and Whoopie Goldberg (Oda Mae) was a joy.
