Noah is such a sweet little guy. He was quite alert for only 5 days old!

His grandma made this blanket for him in the first set of pictures – I love all his little expressions in these (some rather fitting with the jungle animals ).

One of our favorite things about photographing families is watching them grow. It’s so awesome to be a part of it. We’ve been shooting Brady since he was only a few weeks old. Check out his newborn portraits and six month portraits. Now he’s one and has a big surprise! Here are some images from his one year birthday session and cake smash.

You may have already seen his cake smash on our facebook page, but in case you missed it – this guy was not interested in his cake. All he wanted was Mommy’s salad! I love healthy babies.

I cannot even describe how amazing these girls are! They obviously get it from their awesome mama! Mom was looking for something different than our traditional studio portraits, so we decided to shoot the girls hanging out in their favorite part of town – Ghent. We had so much fun in the studio with this baby girl! Daddy is a chef so they brought along a baby chef hat – we just happened to have the perfect rug to go with it! We were able to hold off on her session just in time for Grandma to fly in. We love when grandparents are able to come join in on the shoot. We got a great generation shot of grandma, mom and baby.

Earlier this week, I was able to spend my evening with an incredible team welcoming London Porter into this world. What an awesome experience! This was the first birth I’ve photographed – and let’s just say it certainly won’t be my last. I’m absolutely in love with it. I can’t thank Laura and Josh enough for letting me capture such an intimate event. It was truly an honor. Laura and Josh were wonderful together and the ladies of Seven Cities Midwifery Care were amazing. Here are a few pictures welcoming their beautiful baby boy! Congratulations Laura and Josh!
