After the review, 8-way ratings breakdown and overall score of Little Deaths, Grisly Zone is proud to air a zombie apocalyptic horror short called “Dark Times,” which has a cool Christmas theme. The filmmakers are Jared Marshall and Peter Horn from Tolling Bell Productions. Check out their studio website for even more short films.

Our all out review is on a vampire/comedy horror film titled “Bite Marks.” This movie was released on DVD only on Tuesday, November 15th. Bite Marks features a notable, Stephen Geoffreys from the original Fright Night and 976-EVIL.

Our featured review this episode is “Deadfall Trail,” a horror/thriller which poses the question “What would you do?” This title was released on November 8th on DVD, and is also available on NetFlix Instant Queue for the streamers amongst us.

This week’s recommendations entails BillChete sticking with a straight-up slasher and ChrisiFix coming in with an independent prequel which got poor reviews from non-horror critics.

After the monumental premier and interview we dive into our featured review of “Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings,” a prequel to the successful franchise that focuses on 3 inbred cannibals dubbed, Three Finger, One Eye and Saw Tooth, the deformed Hilliker brothers. This title was released on October 25th on both DVD and BluRay formats.

We did have to preempt the DVD recommendations this week due to time constrictions. Grisly Zone will always run between 50-70 minutes, so the audience knows what to expect, and to keep the file size down to a manageable amount. We know the DVD segments are popular, so don’t fret, they will be back in full force next episode.

Grisly Zone will be a weekly podcast released every Tuesday. We will be analyzing one, new release horror movie in great detail, along with an 8-way breakdown of the film. On this episode we cover “The Presence,” a supernatural scare flick that was released on DVD October 4th. Ratings and reviews are not posted so you must listen or watch to get all the grimy details. After the intense review both critics recommend a horror movie each for the audience.
