This alternative to the traditional plastic K-Cup caught my eye immediately because of the price. I have been buying the basic Ks from Amazon for years, always pretty much around the same price, and have been eager to see the drop in prices once Green Mountain's patent expires on the technology. This company found a unique way of getting around the patent with these filter-exposed cups. To our benefit, this brand sells more for less, and that to me was worth the try. I chose the Breakfast Blend because I normally drink the Coffee People Donut Shop, which I too love, and I thought this would be the closest match. This turned out to be true, both are smooth and not too strong or robust. Both have good flavor without being over the top. As for the style of the cup, as all others have said, it does not have the plastic canister look, but rather just the filter, which I personally like. I must say, I was concerned. I had purchased the smaller boxes, and was pleased with that, however I was worried that the large 80 cup package wouldn't be packaged to preserve the flavor, but I was wrong!! There are 10 sealed packages inside the box with 8 cups in each! Excellent idea!! Less plastic!!

The flavor is phenomenal, probably one of my favorites!! Nice and bold without bitterness!!

I love this!!! Tastes exactly like peanut butter without the fat and the calories. Finally, I can enjoy one of my favorite snacks guilt-free with all it's health benefits. The PB2 website has the nutrition info, how they make it as well as a number of recipes posted.

Here is a recipe for a delicious low-cal Chocolate PB2 Bread Pudding:
(4 servings, about 190 calories each)

1/2 cup egg beaters original
1/2 cup Skim milk
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp dry PB2 mix
5-6 slices whole wheat bread (depending on how dry you like it)
2 Tbsp semi-sweet mini chocolate morsels

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 8x8 pan or individual ramekins.
Whisk egg beaters, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and PB2 in a medium bowl. Mix well.
Tear bread into small cubes and add to egg mix.
Stir in chocolate morsels.
Pour into baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.

This stuff is awesome, but at $7 for a relatively small jar it is very expensive. Also keep in mind that this powder is very fluffy and will lose a lot of volume when reconstituted.

If you take out the entire jar and mix water until it's the consistency of peanut butter, you will wind up with about 1/2 or less the original volume, so 2 jars (at $14) is about the same volume peanut butter as one jar full... ouch.

That being said, looking past the outrageous price, the product is GREAT, my two jars ended up being gobbled down in a matter of days.

After a couple of days to try out these 2 Peanut butter substitutes I can say I'm a convert. I LOVE peanut butter, for me it's a trigger food. If I eat it, I tend to want to eat half the jar at once and it can lead to wanting to eat other things I know I shouldn't. I've worked damn hard to shed 170lb this past year and half and indulging in PB is something I very rarely do anymore. I'd all but given it up. So actually finding something like this, which will allow me to enjoy the occasional PB&J sandwich without the feelings of guilt and remorse is a godsend!
The reg. version of PB2 does have a roasted peanut taste to it, so it's not quite like regular PB, you don't get the salty sweeter taste of Jiff or Skippy. JUST the roasted peanut taste. But it's quickly adapted to. And the Chocolate version (which I was more skeptical of) was even better! You can eat either one right after you mix them with water, but I think they're best when added to something else.

To cut to the chase, this produces a very good MEDIUM roast style cup of coffee...period. Some folks tend to compare all coffees to one another no matter what the bean is and how it's roasted. I do roast my own green beans (home roaster) when I brew a pot of coffee every morning and use the K-Cups when only a single cup is needed. If you don't like that 'in your face' dark roast, dense, heavy style of coffee in the morning (or any time for that matter) this is definitely the coffee for you. It's not bitter, a bit floral, with a true pure coffee taste. Does it match Dunkin Donuts style coffee in taste? OVerall I must say that the vast majority of them have been pleasant, better than what I used to make in my coffee brewer. Then I tried the Donut Shop brand. When I first tried this I was not expecting much, it sounds bland, plain, everyday type of coffee. Don't get me wrong, I have had some pretty good cups of coffee in donut shops but nothing to write home about. When I took my first sip, I thought wow, this is amazing. Smooth, not much of an acid taste, about as close to perfect as I could describe. My love for this k-cup continued and continues to this day. I've had my Keurig brewer for 5 months and have tried a lot of brands and the Coffee People Donut Shop regular is among my favorites. Green Mountain Nantucket Blend and Timothy's Italian Blend are also favorites.

One reviewer remarked about Subscribe & Save costing less. It's only a dollar and a few pennies cheaper than this packaging and Subscribe and Save does not offer Donut Shop "regular" but instead has "Extra Bold". Also, this packaging gives you 50 k-cups as opposed to 48 (2) 24 count packages in Subscribe & Save.

Another reviewer complained about not having the standard boxes to dispense the coffee. I purchased a K-Cup carousel, available on Amazon for $19.95 that holds 26 k-cups; it looks nicer by my Keurig than cardboard boxes.

The texture of these will take some getting used to for me, but I would say it's pretty good (that's why I've given it 4 stars). It's definitely worth a try and perfect for someone looking for a healthy alternative to regular tortilla chips (and if you get the 24 pack, preportioned into 1 oz 120 calorie bags). So, I bought the Coffee Pod Drawer thinking it was the answer to my cluttered coffee area on my kitchen counter. Not exactly. First and foremost, let me say - this is a great product. It does hold the pods neatly. It has a nice, durable, slip resistant top that lets you feel comfortable that your Keurig won't slip or tip over. This is why I gave the product 4 stars.
My issue is this: I purchased this simply because I thought it would use up less space on my counter if my K-Cups were stored inside this drawer and underneath my Keurig, as opposed to my (somewhat) bulky K-Cup Carousel. (Which by the way, is chrome, and I really despise chrome.) Anyways, what I did not consider was the fact that it raises your Keurig up by about 3.25 inches. Before I bought this drawer, my Keurig had just enough space on the counter under the cupboard that it sits under, for me to lift the top of the Keurig open to put new K-Cups in, and to fill the water, etc. That additional 3.25 inches... I can finally get rid of the five boxes of K-cups sitting on my counter. The padded top of the drawer shelf means I don't get a rattling vibration noise when the brewer runs, and the drawer slide action is very smooth. The drawer extends far enough out that it's easy to get the last cup in a row, so you can see all the cups at once - much better than digging around in a bunch of boxes. The whole thing feels very sturdy, and has a nice modern look to it.

I saw the negative reviews for this product, but decided the positive outweighed the negative and it was worth a chance. Think of it just like that - a bit of a gamble. Maybe you'll get a good mix, maybe you won't. Maybe you'll get 35 cups, maybe not. I got 31 cups and they were not all unique - some were duplicates. All that said, the cups that I did get included a nice variety and there are several flavors that I had wanted to try and I am now getting to do so. I wish my mix had included more coffee and a bit less cocoa, but I feel like I totally signed-on for that gamble. I did, however, expect to receive the number of cups advertised.

I waited to do my review because I contacted the seller and was hoping the situation would be corrected, but it's been nearly two weeks and I've had no response.

So I wasn't convinced about the greatness of Popchips - until I tried them!! Now, although they are more expensive than regular chips, they are so much healthier and taste GREAT so I'm not sure I will ever buy regular chips again!

However, even though I loved the basic flavors in the 6-flavor variety I wanted to try some of the different varieties because they sounded good. The only purchase option to try some of these other flavors was to buy a whole box, and I was very skeptical to buy an entire box of 24 if I didn't like the flavor. This variety pack gave me the perfect opportunity to sample each flavor to determine my favorites! I wondered what flavors I would be getting since they were not listed in the description, so in case it matters to you:

My favorite chips just got better! We loved the new Jalapeno, Chili Lime, Parmesan Garlic and Thai flavors. The Sweet Potato was least liked.
I've been wanting to try all the new flavors for a while but didn't want a case of 24 packs of a single flavor. Our local stores only stock the most common flavors. Now the problem is solved and I'll definitely be re-ordering these every month.

I enjoyed the other variety pack of popchips a lot. I am so glad that they added some of the newer flavors like Thai Chili, Sweet Potato, and Jalapeno to the offerings. I will definitely be getting this one again.

One of my biggest frustrations with doing Weight Watchers was always the problem of finding good chips. I will eat the baked ones, but they are undeniably very different from regular fried chips. In addition to this, I've never been able to find a baked chip that came in salt and vinegar flavor, which is my favorite type of chip. This meant that, whenever I had the craving for this particular flavor, I'd have to eat the regular fried kind.

I picked up an oversize bag of the barbecue flavor Pop Chips on a whim at Costco. I'd heard about them and was curious about what they're like, but I'd never before been able to find them in the area. Much to my surprise, my very thin husband who is totally addicted to barbecue chips loved them and pretty much ate the whole bag before I'd had any.
