1.It's 22 year-old 'kid' now.In many people eye still just a young dude, but what always came across my mind is : hey man, why are you still earning so little,and there's so many things you have not 'been that, done that' ,man.

2.The longer I live in Singapore, the longer I became materialistic. Some times is over spending and by end of month need to slow down everything that I spent including cigarette.

3.By the way, just watched Yes Man. What a cool movie that really give me a slap to wake up after since 95% personal growth. Slack for so many months, I guess it's time to be a little responsible to my self.

What Exactly is Branding?

Recently, I've been heard a lots of 'Branding' in my working place. As a designer of clothing label, basically not only just selling design, goods but also brand.

Branding, need a very strong and powerful marketing strategy. But, there's no right way or wrong way to doing branding. Some people just like to hard sell it and they might success by targeting the right person.

What I want to say is, my boss is those kind of people that really try hard to selling the brand. Each time, each design, he will try hard to insert anyhow logo in it, if can. There's nothing wrong with doing that because that's the way the brand work, is like "upreme, Stussy, or Bape. But some times I just confuse with, "who are you selling to?" or "who is your target?".

Maybe because I just joint, and still don't get into these kind of branding strategy, and it might not be the way I will doing on my brand, but somehow ,still there's really nothing wrong by doing that.

Working in Singapore about 1 years, and I've experience 2 or 3 different company working style, which also a part of learning for my self~

30 days I've been working. Another totally different line, different with any other design shit. I design is to sell and I'm sure I'm sure my design is selling more expensive than many of designers.

Why not? 1 T-shirt let's say $40, if 1 design sold 50 pcs, is $2000, minus maybe half for cost, and margin is 1k.

These crap is just for my own stupid motivate, because recently my boss is starting let go more task for me to handle, more responsible, and some 'positive pressure'.

If my design fucked, my company also fucked. shit.

Some how, this job is kinda different, I'm not learning being a graphic designer, I also will involve fashion design, windows display design, brand design and shit lots more. lol!

2. My task is to repeat the 1. almost everyday.

After reading Wongpk's blog which he talking about his mum, so much thing suddenly flash back in my head.

People who close to me, they know I grow up in a family that not complete, My dad and mum separated since long time ago before I've born. So in my whole life, I don't even know what actually a dad play his roll in a family besides giving money.

When I was small, my mum have to be the mother and father, she have to take care of me and my sister all alone. That time, I though that's not a big deal and I though it suppose to be like that.

After I graduate my high school, I continue my diploma in Selangor and that's the first time I know that the important of my mum. I didn't realize how much she care about me until the first time I call back home. All the suddenly, those nagging became so touch, and that's the first time I really understand how much she have been done to me.

Now I'm a social guy, working class people or whatever you call it. Almost 22 years she taking care of me, she still doing it.
One time, I look into a picture that she took with my sister, she look a little older. All these years, she have sacrifices all her life to take care of us and I don't even notice.

Maybe I'm not a greatest son after all, but I will do great as I'm the only man in family. For my mum.

Being a jobless guy is just too much of time and too little of $$$.
And so, I discover something very interesting today, Photosynth. This software/Website allow you to view some places in different angle using the technique of photo stitch and is fucking mind blowing I would say.

I did a test after install the plug in.

First, you can see the images is getting clearer and also many layouts of photos start showing and linking

As you can see, many of photos is actually stitching together

The ring thingy is not suppose to place on the head, it actually to tell you which angel you can view this 'stuff'

This is the future, seriously shit(remind me of the movie, De Javu). Imaging, collect the whole world's images, not only all the places can be view, many of criminals also very easy to spot too.

After 26 days and still counting, I'm still remain jobless. Look in to the bank account's balance, the pressure for me to look for a job is getting more and more.

Actually it's not a bad thing to take a break. At least after a long period of working, I will need to reconsider the direction that I need to move on. (Of cause, if you working in a company like mine, you must actually 'move out')

I did try my best sent out as must as CV and portfolio that I could, but none of any good sign even though went to a few interview.

Even my mum suggest me to look for another position or line, maybe like Police?LOL!!

I hurt my back last few days and now still hurt, don't think too much, it's because of my portfolio and also the cheap skate ikea plasic chair plus a 5 hours non rest situation.

Back to Bali, very owesome place, good food, good drink, good company and nice culture there.

One of the hotspot, Kuta Beach.beautiful beach? Not quite, But do have some beautiful bitches :o~~

Bali Trip

Last 2 weeks, me and my gf went for a getaway trip--BALI!!

We booked 3 nights hotel and end up we got return ticket on 12am from Denpasar to Singapore. meaning we have actually 5 days and 4 night in Bali.

The last time I took a flight when I was 11 years old. So basically i dont actually remember how it's like. Look at the sky above sky, is very enjoy when the seat it very uncomfortable and i cant even sleep.

While i'm too bored, I found this. They actually have like Islam, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist and so on, for you to pray while we are 'flying'.

Ghost Festival

Today is the 3rd day of seventh month in the lunar calendar, which most people call it 'Hungry Ghost Festival" in Malaysia, come on, even Wikipedia don't use hungry, because 'they' not hungry by the way.

Different places have different culture to 'celebrate' these days. In Malaysia, while my grand-mum still around, she will pray at the road side which in front our house with some cookies and burning paper and candlers. This whole month, most of the chinese parents will warn their kids dont out too late. In Malaysia, people usually have some 'celebration' called 普渡（pu du), is like a praying section for this whole month.

This year, I'm in Singapore, is much more different. They have this 歌台 'ge tai'(Singing Performance) This whole months, all the 'ge tai' singers will rush as many stage as they can to earn the money.

So happened, one of the 'Ge Tai' is located just below my apartment. Very happening.
Usually they will sing some oldies. If you guys watch the movie '881(Papaya Sister)' you might roughly get what i mean.

Music is quite loud and even i close every single gab in my house i still cant hear the sound from my TV. But not that bad actually, can enjoy free live music and performance. I like oldies too, why not, just 1 month.

Friday, my first day of jobless, Yea!!

Last month, July 11th, Apple launched iphone 3G, the second generation of iphone. The world is crazy about it, people is desperate for it. I heard Malaysia is selling RM5000 for unlock set and Singapore is selling like S$2000.

Luckily last few months I've already got the 1st generation iphone my self through my US friend Kenny. When apple announced they will launching the new iphone after I got mine, many of my friends say rather wait for the 3G one, but now is different case. At this moment, you cant unlock, you only able to get under apple retail store or telecommunication store. Besides, they wont allowed you walk away without sign up any contract.

Singapore probably September will be launching iphone 3G, after pay up monthly charge, it wont be any cheap anyway. I'm glad i got mine early, I pay for S$950 with Taxes, Delivery Fees, Casing, Screen Protector. I unlock my self, and now I have 16gb ipod+mobile phone. And Malaysia, the wait continue...

Since past few months, my current company went into really unstable situation, friends who talk to me before, they know my bosses are 'bookie' or some of u call agent for soccer and 4D betting.

Once you have a boss like that, you can know they doesn't need to actually work hard because the betting that he can win each week is more that what company can make each month.

So i decided to look for new job and quit since this already became my safe zone and i don't really learn shit anymore. And i found one, a design agency. So i went to interview and trial, they said will hire me, and they will give me an appointment letter after 2 weeks. So, I quit.

2 weeks after, i ask them about the letter, and they drag me like 1 week, with an answer, "We are not hiring anymore".

i was like what the fuck! After i try to contact and I try to told to person who incharge, what they told me is they cant afford to hire more designer since their clients pull out. What an in responsible company. by the way, the company is Oxygen Studio Design, in Singapore. Beware when you interview and don't stupid like me, get a offer letter for your own sake!

Pat told me, is a turn. I believe so.

Time flies, I've been working in Singapore for 8 months, total of almost 32 weeks.

You say Singaporean Kiashu Kiasi, and Yea~ They really do. Different country have it's different culture, even we are Chinese, but some how still different, a little bit.

I notice that almost ALL Singapore old folks speaks Hock Kian, and they don't even care you understand, they will just speak to you. Even u answer them with mandarin, they will speak with you Hock Kian. My God~(i know i don't have one, yet)

Singapore Clean, Yea...cleaner than everywhere else i would say. The air also better coz everywhere is plants and trees. People can even jogging at the road side, if in Malaysia, i think die because of the CO2 too much and the black black smoke cover all over your face. In here, black black smoke from your vehicle is illegal :0

Vivocity is one of my fav stop to hangout, is much spaces and you don't have to Q for a elevator, Yes, Q for elevator. Wanna take lift also need to Q man..Madness..

Some times, I really miss spending like 3 hours talking crap in mamak stall. *yawn*

There's only a word can be describe for this blog--- SAD. Yea, this is a word where came out from my friend.

Recently,accidentally I fell in to John Lennon songs(Ya, I can't believe that too). I finds the way he think is interesting. The way he look at this world, is totally different than what I was look at it. From the lyric of Imagine, "Imagine there's no Heaven and religion, and there's no country. Every one live for today", how beautiful isn't it. No religion, no war, no global warming, no killing and stuff. (Not possible)

People says: Religion is where the evil start, I believe so. I just tired to listen about religion, because history is just doesn't convince me.
