I just wanted to express how pleased I was with my order from The Grower’s Box.  I was married last August and my wedding planner suggested cutting a huge chunk out of the the budget by ordering from www.growersbox.com.  I am the most unlucky person in the world.  What can go wrong, will, but these flowers were perfect.  I ordered pink roses and they were all stunning and arrived exactly as planned.  We gathered them in bunches of about 10 stems, put them in large stained glassware and they were beautiful!

There were so many flowers everywhere that several people commented that we must have spent a fortune.  Too bad  you don’t do bouquets because your flowers were more fresh and pretty than what I received from the florist!

I just wanted to thank you for the magnificent calla lilies, etc.  My tables looked very elegant!  You were very helpful and everything arrived on time just as you assured me it would.

We spoke with our flower farm today about the antique hydrangea and when it might be available and unfortunately we are probably going to be looking at sometime after the first of August before the antique hydrangea will be available.

It has been unseasonably cold and foggy at our flower farms in California which has caused their hydrangea to bloom MUCH slower than in years past.  Their production of blue and white hydrangea is just beginning to bloom and hopefully in the next few weeks production will pick up.  The antique coloration of the hydrangea comes as the blooms age on the stems.  Once bloomed, the hydrangea require about an additional 4 to 6 weeks on the plant to develop their ‘antique’ coloration.

We are really hoping that Mother Nature cooperates and provides us with some warmer weather so that our California hydrangea farms will begin producing soon.

Just so you know, the white hydrangea and blue hydrangea are readily available out of South America.

We have had many inquiries about our antique hydrangea and when they would be available once again.  We spoke with our flower farm and they indicated that this spring has been quite a bit cooler and that their blooms are running about 2 to 3 weeks behind schedule. Having said that, we can expect the pink hydrangea to be available beginning some time after the first of June, and the antique colors should begin to appear in July.

We will keep you posted on the status of the antique hydrangea and their anticipated blooming schedule.  If you have have not already done so, please click on one of the packages of antique hydrangea and click on the ‘Notify Me’ button.  Once that product is available you will receive an email indicating its availability.

Description: Stephanotis are blossoms that are cut from a Jasmine vine and are shipped without stems.  They are best known for their charming white bloom which measures about 1.5 inches in diameter.  At certain times during the year the bloom sizes may be larger than the 1.5 inches previously indicated.
