These turned out to be some really good tacos. The chicken was light and tender with a very thin fried crust to it,

Lobster + food truck = LobstaTruck. One of the latest gourmet style food trucks to roll out recently. Based on the crowds it looks like they are turning out to be a pretty popular truck, I mean it is lobster after all. I know they get their lobster flown in, just not sure from where, it's definitely fresh though. They have a simple menu, lobster rolls with butter or with mayo, crab rolls,

Great little taco place in Los Feliz, The Best Fish Taco In Ensenada. Very simple and straight forward. You order fish or shrimp tacos. That's it. The fish and shrimp are lightly battered and quickly deep fried, the corn tortillas are warmed on the grill and the tacos are served naked. On their own, the shrimp and fish are really tender and sweet and with a crunch of the batter are pretty tasty.

Heard it hit/almost hit a 100 degrees on Wednesday....in November! Found a convenient metered parking spot and then realized it had a nice big flashing FAIL on it

Finally, after many months, the Ludo Truck has arrived, or at least in a soft roll out schedule. Don't think they're doing a regular schedule just yet. For those who have had Ludo's cooking know why its a big deal for the truck to be out and about now. I found them parked on Melrose on a recent Saturday afternoon where a few other trucks have parked recently. I hope

I ordered the 5 piece garlic and butter shrimp with a scoop of rice for 5 bucks, they have a 8 piece with 3 scoops of rice for 8 I think, pretty good value either way. Their was no shortage

We were greeted by Daniel, a co-founder who was really nice and friendly. We chatted with him while we oohed and awed all the tasty looking Parisian snacks. He

Forage Restaurant. Nice little space in Silverlake. Everything is fresh and organic. Had the baked chicken with farro salad and grilled bread. The chicken was cooked just right, tender and juicy with a tasty crispy skin. The farro salad was really good as well. They have a menu that stays mostly the same, but with ever changing specials.

Considering Breadbar is one of our favorite places in general,

Still getting caught up on my posts. Going up later then planned.

After many months, finally tried the Flying Pig food truck. No line (love it when I can time it right) and the service was fast and friendly. Had the tamarind duck taco and spicy pork taco. I really liked them both. The duck taco was quite good, it was more shredded in texture. Had the tangerines, pickled beets and daikon

Tried Yum Yum Bowls the other day. Mostly Thai style foods. I tried the Yellow Curry with chicken. I found it to be ok. The curry itself had some nice flavors going on, but I found the potatoes a bit on the starchy/under cooked side, the carrots were alright and the chicken was tasty, but also kinda rubbery. It struck me as late night delivery food. I'll probably try them again at some point,
