Drag tuning, drag tune

this is a simple method I choose as its proper drag not whats the top speed ,I created a track on gt5 track editor , which then I uploaded to gt5 lobby and to my surprize ,I have a proper drag strip where the aim is to get to the finish line in about 2 miles if that ,ive tuned my ford mustang mach 1 to reach the finish line at around 150 mph ,which is correct in drag racing . I use short gears to achieve this as im not going to the end of the track , just to the finish line.I find setting off in 2nd gear helps with traction as 1st just sits spinning on the spot .there is no traction control allowed but you can use any tire you want .my track is designed with a queue sysyem and 2 lanes for drag racing ,if after a couple of trys at my track and you feel your confident enough why not race for your CAR , this can only be done once daily so choose wisely .I have raced and lost on my own track so I believe its a fair system im using ,only classic muscle cars are allowed ,but I change on votes when drag racing so come join me and lets get drag racing properly .im making this track on 16/02/2013 first at 11am the next at 7pm and I will name the track in caPS GT5GUIDENTRADE

SL65 AMG, SL500 AMG, THESE CARS ARE VERY FAST ON GT5 I Have personally TUNED and raced SL65 AMG online against the americans we were on daytona driving NASCAR their was some really fast cars . and when i overtook them after the 3 rd lap they were not very happy about it they tried all sorts to get me off the road but i held my ground and won the 10 lap race it was brilliant so i suggest youget yourself some AMG power under your bonnet trust me you will like it .

Hot headed drivers tend to be better at overtaking but more likely to spin out on corners. Cool drivers corner better but are afraid to take risks when it comes to over taking. Best to have one of each and choose the best driver for the course layout. also its a good idea to have plenty of power under your bonnet otherwise you will be left behind.

also you can race your drivers against your friends drivers as shown below

Generaly go for high cornering and accuracy.

Car choice makes a difference as well. Put a Hot driver in FR car or RR Car and you just asking for a spin outs at the start of his driving career.

You dont put learner drivers in a porshe, you put them in a ford Ka

Same on this game put him in FF OR 4WD for smooth driving untill hes leveled up.

The speed stat is his average corning speed. It limits him to a top speed for corners in a car. The cool to hot gauge when racing is how much this top speed can change per race.

Untill the speed bar is at a set level the B SPEC driver will never go round Daytona with out breaking. Puerly because hes not happy to drive that fast and turn the wheel.

His mood arrow. Has an amplifer effect on car driving.

This also effects the cars hes happy to drive fast in. When you have a lot of MONEY and you give him not the best car. he'll drive slow in the junk car no matter its stats. Say using a cheap corvette instead of giving him a FordGT race car when others in the race have the Ford GT race car.

It seams to me that the AI does work that way.

No matter how good you think the corvette car is the AI still says "up yours" im driving slow this is junk give me the FordGT race car or im not winning this ever

The BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo (also referred to as the BMW 5 Series GT) is an executive or mid-size car from German manufacturer BMW, which was first displayed at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show as a concept car. It is the first production-destined rendition for BMW's Progressive Activity Sedan (PAS) series of cars, its development code was F07

The F07 platform provides a vehicle length traditionally found in a BMW 7 Series, but with the headroom found in a BMW X5. The F07 also features a unique "bi-modal" trunk, similar to the Twin Door concept on the Škoda Superb, which may be opened in a traditional car like fashion, or the entire hatch may be open in a traditional SUV fashion for larger objects.

The F07 Gran Turismo shares the same F01 7 Series-derived platform, powertrain, mechanical package, and dashboard with the F10 sedan. However the F07's fascia has different headlights and bumper, with a larger split-kidney grille similar to that of the F01 7 Series. The F07 also has a taller height resulting in a higher center of gravity, its longer length allows for more rear legroom, the rear passenger accommodation has optional "Executive" bucket seats for two instead of the three-seat bench, and it weights 400 pounds heavier compared to the F10. here my tips for the b class events its all about being cool lol no really its down to keeping the driver calm as you will notice as soon as he comes up to corners or trying to take over some one he will get stressed.so as you take off from the start/finish line notice the bar start to move slightly every time this happens you counter with reduce speed option to keep it half way once you get past all the drivers your driver wont get stressed any more as he is in his comfort zone so let him calm right down then you can push him hard .there ya go feel free to leave any tips you have come across thanks

right here's the bit we stretch the cars capabilities by moving the gear ratios so you get a faster top end or better acceleration I've done this with a car with 850 bhp it was a merc c 63 amg i tried it on daytona lol and left all the Americans sitting in their nascars, they didn't like it one bit so just experiment with your cars well I'm off ill b back soon with another tip
