Setting business goals is great. In case you haven’t had the chance to watch this video on the three things you need to do before ever setting goals in business or in life.. check it out.

They have a beneficial effect even if you do nothing more than set them and move on with your life.

But in this article & small business training video I am going to show you how to address hard to reach goals that you want to highly increase the chances of getting to in the shortest period of time.

Write a plan:
Your plan doesn’t have to be perfect but you do have to have a plan to reach your goals. If you don’t have a plan yet or your having a hard time making a plan. Many times the plan with have to include some kind of marketing if your business a business. If so click this marketing advice link and ask your biggest question. Then sit in front of your computer with a blank word document and tip your goal at the top of the document. Then list out at least twenty different ways to get to your goal. Do this process daily until you find one idea worth developing into a plan.

Put a deadline on your goal:
When you have a plan, you have an opportunity to guess at what its going to take to fulfill that plan. Having a deadline helps force the plan into completion.

Write your goals down daily along with a summary of your plan:
The more we keep our goals out in front of us the more likely we are to reach them. I recommend doing this first thing in the morning before you start your day.

Create your plan for the day right after you write them down:
This works like gang busters if you are willing to get out of your comfort zone. Plan your day the night before its ok, just make sure you write your goals before you plan your day. When we write our goals and our plan to achieve our goal before your plan our day we are much more likely to include plans to achieve our goals in our plans for the day.

Write your goals at the end of your day then reflect on how they day went:
As a Business Coach I am always trying to figure out how we can minimize the friction between where we are now and the where we want to be. Certain things in our lives we can eliminate because they aren’t congruent with our goals. Other parts of our days we can become more efficient with our actions to reach our goals quicker. The easiest most dependable way to make sure you continually stay on course and optimize your actions to reach your goals is to reflect on your day. Then while reflecting on your day, find ways to improve your daily actions to reach your goals faster and with less effort.

Look for ways to improve the efficiency of the action in your plan.

Business Goal Setting for 2012

Hi my name is Nathaneal Mohr. I am a business coach and before we get started into this video & and article that focuses on tips you need to consider before setting your business goals for 2012… I want to make sure you are taking advantage of all the resources here. One of the free resources we get a lot of great feedback on is our webinar on developing a new marketing strategy that works in todays market.

Are you about set your business goals for 2012 then its important to first take a step back and pull as much life experience out of 2011 as possible. This way you can get the greatest results from your strategic planning and goal setting. In this article & video I am going to give you a couple simple tips that you want to think about before planning your business goals setting session for 2012… so you can make better decisions in your goal setting and strategic planning for the following year.

Pre-Business Goal Setting Tip #1

Outline Your Biggest accomplishments. When we outline our accomplishments we put our mind in a more creative and confident state. Our minds start sorting for ways to stay congruent with the kind of person that would have those accomplishments. That’s why the best time to close a sale is right after you close a sale. You are more confident and because of that confidence your mind is in an optimum place to support that confident self image.

So before setting any business goals for 2012 make sure to outline each one of your biggest accomplishments of 2011. Then separate each one of those accomplishments and ask yourself:

1. What are the skills that I have that are responsible for that accomplishments?

2. What are the beliefs I have about myself that are responsible for that accomplishment?

Focus on enhancing those business skills, and stabilizing those beliefs about yourself as you plan your future goals. This is how you are going to take the key aspects responsible for your successes and develop them for continual professional development in 2012. This is one of the questions I ask my clients when I take them through my business coaching process.

Pre-Business Goal Setting Tip #2

Outline your biggest Lessons over the last year: Many times these are going to come from your biggest challenges.

Outline everything that you will do differently if you are in a similar situation over the next year in 2012. Take what your biggest lessons or the things you would do differently… and use them as a foundation to make your decisions about what you goals setting, and what your plans are going to be for achieving those goals that you are setting.

Pre-Business Goal Setting Tip #3

List out the things that your are presently engaged in that if you knew what you know now about them you wouldn’t have started doing them: This could be something in your small business marketing strategy, or someone that you have hired. This could be a vendor you have choose or a client you took on. Whatever it is, commit to stopping it before you make your new goals and plans.

Take Full responsibility for the results you have gotten over the last year.

Now summarize this information and start your goal setting and strategic planning for 2012.

While You Take The Most Time Off This Holiday Season You Could Possibly Take Off

Hi, is this the first time you have been here? Feel free to take advantage of one of our most popular free trainings on how to increase sales and business profits.

It doesn’t matter if you are a entrepreneur, small business owner, or executive…a lot of us want to take time off during the holidays. But then at the same time, when we take time off we risk hurting our bottom line. In this business coaching article I am going to show you how to prioritize your activities so you can increase your productivity and take the maximum amount of time off without losing momentum with your business activities.

Create a Specific Time Off Goal
Believe it or not the first step in increasing your productivity at work is to decide how much time you want to take off and schedule it in your calender. Stay true to your calender like taking this time off was another appointment. The best way to do that, if you have a hard time disconnecting from work is to schedule time with other people. This way you will be expected to be somewhere that you can’t work.

Outline your Work Productivity Goal & Give Each Productivity Goal a Hierarchy
Your next step in increasing your productivity at work is to create a results goal so you can become very focused with the time you dedicate to work. If you have more than one business results goal, put them in order of priority. And do your best to work single minded on the most important goal until it is complete. This is an opportunity to really test your ability to choose activities that are going to give you the highest result for the time you are giving yourself to work. Really focus on the ten percent of the activities that give you ninety percent of your business results.

Compare Your Productivity Goal Against Your Time Off Goal
Make sure that your business results goal and your time off goal are congruent. At the risk of sounding like your business coach…this isn’t the time to stress yourself out. It’s the time to be effective and enjoy the holidays.

Action Steps on Your Work Productivity Goals
Take the list of your goals for increasing your work productivity, or your single business goal, and create an action plan to achieve those work productivity goals. Put those action steps into your calender. Keep asking yourself as your write this plan, “Am I being as efficient with my time as possible?” When you make work productivity plans with a question at the top of your mind it forces your mind to sort through the world with the question. This will help make sure you stay on track and are more effective with the actions you take.

And make sure you have a great holiday session. Results will come if you focus on the most profitable objectives. And those objectives will get done quickly when you focus on efficiency.

<img src="http://www.guaranteedprofit.com/wp-content/plugins/flash-video-player/default_video_player.gif" title="How to Increase Your Productivity at Work...
Hi, If this is the First Time Here Take advantage of our Free Online Training that focuses on How to Increase Business Profits and Sales

One of the things I like to use is a personal customer & client experience checklist. This checklist can be used by large or small businesses. It can be a reference point for a business owner, middle management or an employee to understand how well they are progressing in the areas of loyalty & retention through the satisfaction of their customer or client base.

All you have to do is find creative ways to positively insert these retention check points into your customer experience and you will be sure to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty as well as increase referrals and positive online publishing.

Customer & Client Satisfaction, Retention, and Loyalty Step 1.

Make buying from you as easy as possible.
Find ways to keep your customers from having to think, do research or search out to make a decisions. Do everything you can to take out any mental struggle there is for buying from you.

Here are a couple example ideas to help you start making the purchasing from you as easy as possible.

Whether it be on your website or in a physical store make finding things easy. You can do this by minimizing distractions and being ready to provide guidance to the location of the product or service that will best suite the needs of your customers.

Find creative ways to provide the information that your customers need to make a buying decision with you. Are your customers price shopping? Have a way to meet the prices of any of your competitors. Are their constant objections? Can you answer the objections your customers have about buying from you?

Customer & Client Satisfaction, Retention, and Loyalty Step 2.

Make buying from you as pleasant as possible. Where in making buying from you as easy as possible is addressing the mental aspects of your customers buying experience. Making the buying experience as pleasant as possible address the emotional needs for high customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty.

How can you make the experience of buying from you more pleasant? Another way to ask this question is Make going above and beyond your normal customer service experience?

Can you upgrade the experience so your customers feel like they are some how VIP? Can you have a company culture of friendliness. The Disney organization has really mastered integrating friendliness into their experience like McDanolds has integrated the up-sell.

Customer & Client Satisfaction, Retention, and Loyalty Step 3.

Check the satisfaction of every customer when possible
Continual feedback is critical for ongoing business growth. Every business interaction is a two way conversation in today’s world of business. Everything from your marketing, product development, sales process to customer service, needs to be a complete the loop of conversation.

How can you get the feedback you need to improve so you can provide the experience you need to deepen customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty?

Your Action Steps:
How can you make buying from you easier than it is now?

How can you make the buying experience more pleasant?

How can you get the feedback to create the ultimate experience for you customer?

Don’t say anything. Test your creativity. Your number one asset in your business is going to be your creativity.

Comfort Zone Quotes Worth Sharing

The Comfort Zone is a dangerous place and in this video I am going to cover many of the quotes that have influenced my life.

The action that forces you to leave your comfort zone is when you have a goal of something you want to do, be or have that is a great advancement for you personally and/or professionally.

We usually dream and fantasize on the video screen of our minds about what it would be like to do, be or have that advancement… whatever it might be.

Then we go through the logical next step of making plans to achieve it.

Trying to be one of the best motivational business speakers I have mentioned before that.. When your start to walk through your plans you will eventually get to a place where one of the action steps is very, very uncomfortable. It’s because we have to leave our comfort zone in order to complete the action steps I am about to quote.

Maybe you have to think a little bit more, or develop a new skill to get around an obstacle. Maybe that uncomfortable action step is just difficult challenge and its takes developing some new beliefs about your self to overcome it.

Many times leaving your comfort zone presents itself as an action step; that you really don’t understand how you are going to accomplish successfully.

And if you try or keep trying to complete that action step you might end up proving to yourself or someone else that you aren’t perfect… And your might be quoted as a failure.

Comfort Zone and the path you choose

My business coaches have said.. You will choose one of three paths when you face that powerfully emotional, physiological and even possibly physical discomfort…Called leaving your comfort zone.

You will either decide the goal you originally quoted isn’t worth it departing from your comfort zone and immediately give up on it. You might give yourself an excuse that usually has something to do with your external circumstances. Stuff like, your to old, to young, the economy is bad, you have kids, you don’t have enough start up capital.

Or maybe you wont just through in the towel. Because maybe you don’t see yourself as a quitter but you still don’t want to face the pain of leaving your comfort zone. If that’s the case you might decide to do that uncomfortable action step later. You artfully procrastinate until everything is perfect.

But the trick is that everything will never be perfect. So our goal just gets put on the shelf until so much time is gone by that its just to late and you move into step into the first path of giving up.

Or you acknowledge your fears, you accept the vastness of your potential and you recognize the areas that you have to advance in to overcome that uncomfortable business challenge. Then take the action steps until you get to the other side of the result that you want.

The Great thing is as long as your still breathing you can step off of one of the first two paths and onto the third path.

Because when you commit to walking through that uncomfortable action step we step into the place where our personal evolution starts to really take place.

The real reason your unconscious mind came up with that amazing thing you want to, do, be or have… is because there is a part of yourself, that has the desire for that personal evolutionary process that only takes place in that expanding opportunity that of those moments that reference as getting out of your comfort zone.

So I want to encourage you to look for the uncomfortable action step in your plan. And dive into them looking for the areas you have to grow in to accomplish what you have put before you.

This employee development Business Blog Article is for Business Owners and Managers that want to help their team grow from the inside out. I have a few ideas that I have learned from raising my kids and from building teams in the past that I believe you will find helpful in the professional development of your staff.

Employee Training Experiment Inspired By My 4 Year Old

This concept for training and developing employees started a few months ago… when I noticed my four year old daughter was trying things, experimenting with developmental ideas as well as have misunderstandings that I had as a child. Many of these misunderstanding had to do with how they approached the activity of doing something, how much they believed in themselves around accomplishing a specific task and or an attitude they had about an experience.

Now once I started looking for and tracking some of the challenges I had at their development I started to notice a ton of very rewarding opportunities to teach and to help them evolve much faster than I did at their age. But there was also a simple method that I used to get them to actually want to learn with me.

Always trying to be one of the best business coaches… the first thing I thought of was how… most of my employees are doing things that I had a level of experience with. So what I started to do is use the same development model I used to teach my kids on them..

Employee Training and Development with a simple conversation

My first step in my employee development and training process was to ask them about the challenges that I had when I was in their place.

And If they had similar challenges I would make sure they knew I was interested in them and how they handled them. I lead with questions and interest first because it seemed to make it a safe place to talk about their challenges.

What I then did is ask them what they thought was the solution. It was the natural course of the conversation but it also seemed to put them in the mode of solving the problem. My next step was to provided what I thought might help my employee. But because I did that last they seemed to be much more open to my experience and much more likely to consistently model what I taught them.

I am telling you this because to master your business of isn’t one skill. Its one hundred thousand little lessons that come from years of your own professional development. And one way you can increase the efficiency, effectiveness and profit of your employees is to help train them with your experience. But most of your employees just don’t consciously know what they don’t know about your business. So I want encourage you to find ways to help them want to learn from you…then find ways to teach your employees so they can reach their potential in our business and for your business.

Are you up to the challenge?

The process of curating content adds value to topics and ideas already created. This is done by sorting, eliminating, and highlighting the information or ideas that are the most helpful and entertaining to a specific audience. This process important to every kind of business because it gives us an understanding of what our target market is finding interesting right now. Then gives us a foundation to interact with them.

In this article as a business coach I going to go into some of the ways you can add to ideas that you already know your target market finds interesting so that your ideal audience sees your content source as the best source possible for their information or entertainment needs.

Keeping the attention of your target audience is of course important because that’s the only way you are going to be able to gain enough trust from your market place to reach your business goals.

Keeping the attention of your target audience has become a bigger and bigger challenge. Making the topic of getting and keeping the attention of your ideal target market one of the most important topics in marketing and business growth.

Here are two ways to make the ideas & topics that your target market is interested in even better… so you can keep their attention.

Create Better Ways to Consume the Information

Taking an article topic that your target market finds interesting and making it into an infograph, a video or an audio can increase the value of the content by giving different segments of a target market their preferred way to for consuming information. Some people prefer infographs because how quickly the content can be consumed while other like video because of its entertainment value while other prefer audio because they are using their smart phone with a headset and they want to multi-task.

Create Opportunities for Multiple Points of View

You can also take a popular topic found in an article, video, or infograph and add value by getting more points of view on a topic. A couple ways to do this is to:

1. Contact experts on a topic then including your own point of view with the content. Doing this has a side benefit of positioning yourself as an expert like the people you are interviewing.

2. You can also add value to content by giving an entertaining or comical point of view. This is easily done with video and a certain kind of personality.

3. You can also do this by summarizing the points of view of different sources that have published on this topic.

4. One other way to increase the value of a topic you are curating is by inviting a conversation to take place with your market about this topic. Doing this can increase the value of the content and also has the side benefit of giving you something to actively talk about with your target market. And of course the more conversations you can have with your target market, the more you will understand them, the more they will trust you, and buy from you.

Small Business Marketing Business Coaching Business Speakers
This is my first featured post...

Hi My Name is Nathaneal Mohr I am in the field of business coaching. This is an article on how to curating in a way that makes it as easy as it can be to find the right information to share with your target audience.

Once you know how to move choose the best kinds of content because you really understand your target market… You then have to find a system for actually curating the content that gives you the highest level of content possible while spending as little as possible in resources.

Here are a few simple ideas you can use when curating content.

1. Sign up for google alerts to filter information for Curating
You can take the topical key words that you know are interesting to your ideal customers and get an email sent to you every time google indexes one of those topical keywords in the news, or blog or new website or video. You can have the emails show up once a day, week or even as they show up online. You can use this to find out what is being said about a product or service. You can use it to follow and share updates on a news story. You can use google alerts to even find out what others are saying about you.

2. Use google reader for curating content.
Using google reader is a great option. Google reader is a web based rss feed reader. You can search for blogs and other resources that us rss and subscribe to it using google reader. If your new to rss don’t be intimidated its really no big deal once you get into it. The reason I really like google reader is because once you have a nice list of market leaders in your feed reader you can have a simple way to be one of the first people to share the best information in your market place. And motivation is HUGE because speed can play an important part in the development of those that follow you; especially if you don’t have a lot of other reasons that someone would follow you.

3. Monitor other influencers when curating content
There are going to be people in places like google pluse, facebook, twitter and linkdIn as well as certain bloggers that have a large amount of influence and are curating the same topics as you. Follow them and learn from them. They will have a good grasp on your market and will be sharing information that your target audience finds important. You also want to start connecting with these people.

Video Description of How to Curate Content better by understanding your customers

This article on is here to help you better curate the content your customers will want. Because as we curate content more effectively we become better at keeping our ideal customers attention online. And as long as we are able to keep the attention of our target market we are able to share with them the reasons why they should buy from you instead of your competitors.

The trick with starting to become great at curating is to first understand your customers. More specifically you want to understand what kinds of content they want to consume and how they prefer to consume it. So I outlined a few questions that you can ask yourself or pass to one of your team members before anyone starts to curate content.

Take a piece of paper and in as much detail describe who your ideal customer is. Don’t hold back, the more detail you put the better off you will be. You might find that you have more than one kind of ideal customer. If so take a special note of that, but make sure you do one description at a time. After free writing a description go back and fill more detail like… How old are they? where do they live? What is their typical day like? What do they like? What do they dislike? What questions would they want answered? This isn’t what questions they would want answered about your product; its just a general question to help you understand what kind of information you should be sharing with them.

What would they find interesting or entertaining? Do they prefer facts or stories? What media do they use as their primary communication tool? What method do they use as their secondary communication tool?

How do they prefer to consume information that is interesting to them? Do they prefer to read, listen or watch a video?

What kind of person would they connect with? Its important to understand what kind of person they would connect with and make the personality the driver that will curate the content. If that isn’t you I would recommend you hire someone with the personality that will resonate with them.

This will deepen the relationship you are able to build with your target market and make it easier to build a relationship with them.

Once you outline this information you will have the foundation set to start and curate content. Your next step is to then put your content curator to work and collect the kinds of information that will be of interest to the ideal customer that you outlined. Then use the personality you that will resonate with your target market to share it with them.

This Presentation is about how to use Thought leadership in your marketing. Inside this Video Presentation you will find the Definition of Content Curation along with how to start using thought leadership as a marketing strategy.

Thought Leadership Presentation description of Content Curation Definition

The definition of this business marketing process of collecting and organizing different pieces of information and then republishing it to a specific audience. If you what to use what I am defining here as a marketing tool then of course your audience is going to be the target market for your products or services.

Full Content Curation & Thought Leadership Presentation Video Description

Today there is so much noise, so many distractions in the average persons life that we as a people are becoming more and more adapted at quickly deciding what information is of interest to us and what is not. What this has meant is that its more challenging than ever to even present your marketing and advertising to gain new customers especially when we are talking about Holiday Marketing.

So what does this mean to us as business people and entrepreneurs?

Well what this means is that best way to get your target markets attention right now and into the future… is to become smarter at how we become a consistent part of what they (your target market) are already choosing to put their attention on.

Your target market is putting small factions of their attention on different types of content and engaging in conversations that they feel are important to them.

So how do you use this curation definition as a marketing tool?

The first part of our content curation definition is collecting and organizing information right? So what we want to do first is find the best resources to collect the content that is important to your target market. This basically gives us topics that have the highest probability of getting the attention of our target market today.

The second part of this definition We then want to present these topics, and increase the value of gathering this information from us, instead of someone else. This increases the probability of keeping the attention of our target market long enough for them to become educated on buying from use. And the longer more consistently we work towards earning the trust of your target markets attention through our presentation of information the more the trust will grow that buying our products and services is a good idea.

My special note around my personal content curation definition is to….Remember that we can do this when we include our marketing message in a none interrupting and purely helpful way with the content we are sharing.

Thought Leadership by definition isn’t a short term tactic. This is a long term marketing presentation that you want to include in your plan for attracting more customers. This skill is built over time and important to build if you want to keep the trust and attention of your market.

Small Business Holiday Marketing Ideas, Tips & Strategies : Video Description With Extra

A lot of small business owners think that you have to have a huge list to be success at getting new customers this holiday session using twitter. The truth is using a list on twitter to get more business is just one tip, idea or strategy you can use when marketing during the holidays with twitter.

In this Business coaching blog article I am going to go into the exact ideas and strategies that you need to understand how you can use twitter to attract more clients during this holiday session. These tips work even if you have never used twitter your entire life or don’t have a list of potential customers following you at all.

Before we get into the exact tips of the small business marketing strategies we have to think about what your customers probably use twitter for. Well the probably use twitter to share their ideas and ask questions of their friends, or acquaintances.

The second idea to understand is that everything, anyone says on twitter during the holidays like Christmas or any other time can be simply monitored or observed by searching for the topics in one of the twitter search engine.

What this means to you is… that as long as you know what someone on twitter would be talking about to make them your ideal customer; then you can find those conversations in real time and offer your retail establishment as a potential choice.

Here are your action steps to holiday marketing with social media monitoring.

Holiday Marketing Idea Number 1: Choose a Twitter Search Engine

There are a couple of them out there now. You can simply do a google search for term “twitter search” and find a couple great solutions. Google has a custom search option that searches twitter now but the google’s custom twitter search has advertising on it that I find distracting.

Holiday Marketing Tip Number 2: How to Identify your Potential Customers

Once you found a twitter search engine you like. List out all potential key elements someone on twitter could be talking about that would qualify them as a potential customer for your business.

These could be words like “Christmas shopping” “your competitors business name” “Black Friday” or “the kind of products or services you sell”

Remember if you have a brick and mortar business to include the area that the business is located as one of your key terms. After you list out your terms just put your search terms in the twitter search engine.

Holiday Marketing Idea Number 3

Now keep your eyes open for conversations taking place that qualify certain people on twitter as ideal customers for your place of business.

Once you spot someone or multiple people talking about doing their holiday shopping your next step is to join into the conversation they are already having by being helpful and friendly.

Holiday Marketing Idea Number 4: This is How to Approach The Conversation

Imagine you are at a party and someone is talking about shopping this holiday session. Would you walk up to those two strangers and just pitch your store? Probably not, you might just walk up and ask them something like.. “who you shopping for today” “how are you choosing where you should shop today” questions that politely invite you to join the conversation. Then you might offer some general advice that is just in their best interest.

Holiday Marketing Tip Number 5

Once you have the conversation going and you understand a little more about what they are looking for you can talk about coming to your store in a way that serves the needs they expressed in the conversation you had with them.

When you follow this holiday twitter marketing process using the @ reply response instead of the direct message option your potential customers entire twitter list will see this conversation. What this does is turns your one on one conversational assistance into a one to many marketing tool. So as long as your polite, helpful and have your potential customers best interest at heart your brand will be seen by many people is a positive light; even if the person your having the conversation doesn’t end up coming to your store.

Something I have noticed is that the customers that come through the door from this process are more likely to spend more. Those same customers are also more likely to refer their friends and family to you because they are actually building a relationship with your brand prior to shopping at your store.

How to Increase Your Retail ROI on the Black Friday Foot Traffic | Description of Video

Hopefully you will see a large influx of foot traffic during the holidays. But with that in mind the question becomes are you fully leveraging the amount of people that are going to be in your retail store. In this Business Coaching Marketing Blog we are going to go into a simple little tactic to make sure that more of the people that walk into your store end up spending money with you. Here is the thing a lot of people are going to walk into your store feel like what you have to offer is worth them buying right away… but they are going to want to check another location to see if they can get a better deal. The one exception to this rule is if the product you are selling is such a great deal that your customer is afraid someone else will buy it. Normally the only way to do this is by cutting prices and cutting your margins.

Another way to build in a similar amount of urgency into your customer is to have one of your employees stand at the front door and give a coupon that is good only for the day that your customer is in the store. The coupon can have any kind of offer you feel is going have enough value to motivate your customers. But it must be understood by your customers that this coupon is good for today.

In the beginning of describing this strategy… being a business coach.. I talk about having one of your employees stand at the front of your retail store to great your customer and offer them this coupon. The reason I normally describe this idea by having your employee in the front of the store is because that is the easiest way control the fact that everyone in your store is going to get a coupon. So if you have a very large store front then that is probably the best way to hand out the coupons.

But I have seen a measurable difference in response of the people when the employee of the retail store walks up to the customer while they are looking at what they are thinking about buying and offer the coupon, while letting them know about the one day discount. This works really well in retail stores with electronics or other slightly higher end items. This concept works even better if the employee hands them the coupon, starts a conversation about the product and answers any questions the customer has. Then after all of that does the math for your customers. This way your customers understand fully what the discount will bring them as far as savings go.

The reason think this works so well, everything action taken from handing your customers something related to the product, to speaking with them about the product, to doing the discount math for them brings them a little farther down your sales funnel.

Black Friday Marketing Ideas – Description of Marketing Video

My experience when business coaching has told me that Black Friday Marketing has become mainly a battle for the attention of your target market while having the best deals or the lowest prices. Now although this is the nature of most Black Friday marketingI want to encourage you to try something a little different. I am not a big fan of discounts because I am such a huge fan of thinking about your margins in your business. Remember as we talk about this is that in the ecommerce world or retail world our prospects are already thinking about who is giving them the best DEALS. They are looking for deals. So the question becomes as you move into the holidays with your marketing is how can you give the best possible deals without gives to much of a discount.

Make a Black Friday Bundle
One way you can give better deals is by bundling the products or services you sell. When you bundle and make new packages your provide opportunities for your prospects to spend more with you on the holidays but still get the satisfaction of getting a great day. So if I was one of your business coaches I would ask you.. how can you bundle your products and services?

Make a Black Friday two for one
Another similar ideal to use as a small business when thinking about selling during the holidays is how can I provide more quantity of the same things for slightly more than if your prospect was to buy just one item. And example of that could be providing two for ones product buys or buy two get the third one free. This gives you the same result of being competitive with your offers and still walking away with more profit then if you just provide a discount.

Lead with a Bonus
One more way to give a great deal to your customers and still increase your profit more than just cutting prices across the board is to provide a discount of a select number of items after a certain level of purchase has been made. You can do this by letting everyone know as they walk through your door or visit your website that when they make a purchase of a certain dollar amount they get something for free or a discount. The best way to approach this is to think about everything your customer could potentially want across the board and give that as your bonus.

No matter if you test one or all of these Black Friday Marketing Ideas I want to really encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and do something different. Do something that none of your competitors are doing. Do something that is smarter and more profitable. Remember the more profit you can capture from your market the more value your business can bring to the world.

Its almost Black Friday and if you have a retail or ecommerce business then Black Friday is something you have to pay attention to. In this top holiday marketing blog post I am going to talk about some of the things that you can start to do to help direct your business in the optimum direction to take advantage of the Holiday marketing session.

The first thing to consider is giving yourself a bench mark. You need to have some kind of Black Friday marketing dashboard or some way of tracking your marketing success. If you don’t know where you been, its going to be hard to measure your progress. If you have never measured your marketing progress during black Friday then don’t worry the time to start is now.

When Business Coaching…. I try to help my clients find some of the lessons we are given come from the mistakes we have made in past events so take a little time to look through your previous years and look your sales during Black Friday. So take stock of your past success by tracking the sales you had last year.

Then after you track your success, reflect a little on the challenges, the bottlenecks you experienced and look for ways you can fix them for this holiday session. There is a lot of profit that is left on the table simply because we don’t learn from our challenges. So save yourself the challenges you experienced last year and learn from them. This is as simple as asking yourself the questions “What did I do well last black Friday” “And what can we do better this year”

Now this year make sure that you do this at the beginning of December while your experience is fresh in your mind. Then save the notes for next year.

Every business you could ever imagine will provide you with time sensitive opportunities to become more profitable for the retail world. In many cases these time sensitive opportunities will sneak up on us making it a challenge to reach the deadlines we need to reach in order to make something like Black Friday reach its profit potential.

I think a lot about how to become one of the best business coaches in the world. And one of the ideas I keep in front of my mind is how to use the 80/20 rule. The 80/20 rule applies to the different time sensitive moments that you can get new business. So if you don’t grab these moments to make more profit then we are going to end up missing the boat on a lot of opportunity. For those of you that do not understand what the 80/20 rule is…its the rule that states that 80% of what you do will equate for 20% of the results you get and 20% of what you do will equate for 80% of the results you get. Keeping that in mind its important that you take advantage of black Friday for your business even if you don’t have time to do something different with your marketing.

This Social Media Marketing Video is focused more on a philosophy than marketing strategy or tactic. The reason I am talking about a philosophy of effective social media marketing is because in my observation every strategy or tactic you could ever use with social media works better when you follow this simply philosophy.

There are a lot of social media marketing strategies we use and teach both in our done for you marketing services as well as our live trainings and coaching programs.

Knowing what social media marketing strategy is best your you and your long term business goals is determined by the resources your business has available as well as the unique characteristics of your ideal target market.

Here is the three part philosophy that has helped me along with many other social media marketers I know.

Step 1

The companies that first find out where their target market is holding conversations and getting information.

Click here to find a twitter monitoring strategy we covered in another video.

Or click here to discover a facebook monitoring strategy

Step 2

Considers yourself your target market’s guide and make decisions from that presupposition.

Step 3

Become more interested in your target market as individuals than anything else you do. And lead from that interest whenever you make decision about social media marketing.

Advertising With Video Description

If you are advertising with video, you want to consider frequency or the number of times you’re going to be able to get your target market to view your message.

Our small business marketing experience shows 3 or more advertising videos to the same audience of prospects has a multiplication effect on conversions.

Of course, the reasons for that include everything from creating more opportunity to answer objections, gain trust and convey the benefits of your products and services.

The actual percentage of conversions with a video ad campaign varies depending on the goals of our clients, assets available, present momentum in a market and charactteristics of their target market.

But each time we were able to get the prospects of our clients to watch a video, we got a significant increase in sales.

So the magic question becomes: How do you get your prospects to watch more and more of your video advertising?

Before you answer, I want you to keep in mind that the world is evolving past interruption advertising with video.

Not to say that traditional commercials are going to completely go away (I mean newspapers are still out there), but I am just making an observation from my experience that the customer is king. And it’s only evolution that if the customer wants to and can get rid of annoying, extra loud advertising while watching videos they will (think Tivo).

So… How do we get your potential customers to gladly enjoy several of your video ads?

Here is the bonus to this idea: How do you create a list of people that are so enthusiastic about your video ads that they sign up to watch them.

Additionally, How do we do this correctly to the point where people who sign up for your video advertising campaigns are going to be pretty good customers.

The answer to Getting Your Video Advertising Message Watched Over and Over again.

First we have to create a powerful sequence.
(We are going to talk about exactly how to create a powerful video advertising sequence in a future video).

Then, we have to build anticipation for the next video ad.

One technique for building anticipation for the next ad is to drop what I like to call “Anticipation Seeds.”

I define an Anticipation seed as a side piece of information that provides a key benefit to your target market if they stay tuned for the next video.

Example of Anticipations seeds would include:

Mentioning that in the next video you are going to include a topic your target market wants to learn about
This could include news, how-to topics, gossip, etc.

Playing a simple contest and letting your target market know that the winner will be announced in a up-and-coming video.
The key to doing this well is that whatever it is you are giving away should be something that would be interesting to your target market and whatever you give away qualifies them as someone interested in buying your products and services.

Leaving the last scen of the video in mid transition and making that transition a very curious one.
On a project we are working on right now, we are having a character jump off a bridge into the water and one of the last scenes of one video ad, he steps up to jump off then we have a frame come over that says “to be continued.” Now that’s a little extreme for most business but there are hundreds of simple ways to do something similar.

What are some ideas you could use to build anticipation to your prospects to watch your next video advertisement?

Description: Hiring Your First Employees as a Entrepreneur
The Hardest &amp but potential the Most Profitable Transition

I am writing this article on Hiring your First Employee for those of you who would like to increase our profit while working less and at the same time, having a lot more fun doing it. As a disclaimer, there are hundreds, if not thousands of ways to add small incremental increases of profit while working less.

When I am helping others get better results with their small business marketing, either through business coaching or as a motivational business speaker, I like to consider all of these ideas so I can build a customized business model that gets the result my clients want.

Today I want to talk about one of the hardest business building transitions for most of us solo-preneurs.

That mindset transition is when our businesses reach a place of complexity where we have to start to grow a team in order to continually grow our profit, and take more time for ourselves.

Going from Solo-Preneur To Entrepreneurial Leader
The reason I am calling this a mindset transition is because although there are new skills that need to be developed, the largest hurtle of going from solo-preneur to entrepreneurial leader is usually a mindset.

By mind set shift, I mean going from thinking like a solo-preneur “how can I get this done?” To a Entrepreneurial Leader or ” How can I find the right person & build the right system to get this done?”

Although when I say that, it sounds easy, i know. But my experience tells me that the shift from solo-preneur to entrepreneurial leader is one of the hardest mindset shifts we take as entrepreneurs.

What’s the big challenge?
It’s human nature to have a hard time letting go of control of something you are highly invested in (whether it be with time, money or emotion).

It’s like working really hard to be an amazing role model for your child then bringing them to the school system and trusting that the teacher is going to care as much about your child’s future as you always did.

The truth about how others will treat your Business
No one is going to care about your business as much as you do. Simply because no one else has paid the prices or taken the risks to create the business. No one else is as emotionally invested as you are.

So what happens a lot of the time because we don’t trust that someone else is going to do as well as we are going to do at the task, we might micro-manage, get too involved in the process the person we are paying should be doing. Or worst of all..we just keep doing it ourselves..stunting our growth and profit potential.

We want to take the same level of focus that we use to do the activity we should be passing over to someone else and focus that attention on looking for a couple of key ingrediants that puts the perfect person in place.

Because the truth is, if you find the person that is passionate about the actual activity that they are doing, they don’t have to care about your business. They just have to have massive interest in the characteristics that the business activity holds as well as the internal value structure that fits the goals of the process they are taking over.

An example might be if you are in the insurance industry and you need someone in customer service. They don’t have to care about your insurance business as much as you do. They just have to be personal, caring, organized etc.

So in summary, there are characteristics of the person you have to hire for each position that makes the person in that position better at the actual activity than you..even though they will never care about your business as much as you.

So in our next video we are going to talk about understanding how to find those characteristics so you can hire someone that is going to do a better job at one of the jobs you have inside your business so you can grow a more profitable business and take more time off.

Online Video Marketing Tip Description

Here are a few ways to leverage video content in your small business marketing

Marketing Tip #1. Take the content in your 60 minute video and chop it up into 3 to 5 minutes of film. Each 3-5 minute segment of video should solve a specific need or answer a specific question that is being searched for online. If you optimize your web 2.0 video channels and the content effectively for those search terms, your videos will rise up the search engines. This will create more opportunity to connect with your target market by being in more long tail searches online.

(Give them a specific call to action in the video)

Those actions could be as simple as subscribing to the video channel that the content is located on, to follow a link to your website, like a Facebook page or share the content. The action you influence them to take is up to your marketing strategy. But no matter what, make sure to include a call to action.

Marketing Tip #2. Is to take the video and give it to others in your industry that serve your target market. Then, let them know they can give it away as a bonus when something is purchased from them. What this does is creates a higher perceived value of the content on the video. And when the perceived value is higher, so is the level of consumption (again, remember to have a good call to action).

Marketing Tip #3. Or you can use the video as a ethical bribe to collect the contact information of your target market. Then, use the contact information to follow up with them and sell your products or services to them.

There are a lot more strategies and tactics that will get you more customers and clients with good video content… But I would recommend that you start with the strategy that will give you the highest return on your investment of time and money. And that depends on your present skills, contacts, and financial resources.

If you look around you at the businesses that have social media accounts; you will find that about 2/3rds of those businesses that wanted to focus on social media for their small business marketing first opened a account and started the work but a few months later, stopped.

Why? Why did they stop? Most likely it’s because they didn’t see their return on investment for using social media.

So why are most businesses not seeing a return on their social media marketing strategy?

Because most of us don’t think past the analytics of our strategy.

I am talking about the focus on the number of followers, mentions, responses, revenue, things like that.

All of those things are important to measure while you are reaching for your marketing goals.

And they are good signals that you are doing the right things. But in the impersonal world of tracking and analytics, most of us lose site on how those goals are reached with the most personal medias ever created. And there are a lot of great tools out there to do that.

But it’s the fact that each follower, subscriber and person that would ever “like” your page, is an individual with an individual life situation. And it’s a fact that each one of those people are using social media to connect with others that make them feel like they are heard and understood.

So, if you want to get through all of the noise and make your social media marketing more profitable, you have to always be asking yourself: “Who is this person that that I want following me and my business?” ….and I mean that on a personal level. And why would they care enough to take the time out of their busy day to engage with myself or my company?

When you are ready to think about each follower from that perspective, you’re going to be ready to start creating an experience for your potential customers using this medium that gets you a ton of most profitable kinds of customers.

If you think you can succeed with social media as a marketing strategy any other way, it’s like believing that your target market isn’t going to TiVo their favorite TV shows and fast-forward through your commercials.

Times are changing and your customers are evolving. So our marketing has to evolve also.

As a side note: If you want to turn any media into a profitable way of getting new customers in our new economy you have to be able to give your prospects at least some of the value they are seeking from the experience of using that media…to get their attention long enough to influence them to buy from you.

We received an email the other day from one of our members at our small business marketing blog that wanted to leverage their leads a little more profitably.

They informed us that they run a floral and decor rental company in Maryland serving weddings and special events. They also let us know that they had a two different list of leads. The first lead list is a list of brides that attended a bridal show. The other leads were a result of advertising on a wedding website that brides register and visit. Both of these list of leads included their home address, email address and wedding date.

Leads Tip #1 – Understanding the strengths each list has
In this specific lead list, the most important information our Entrepreneur had beyond the contact information was the wedding date.

Whenever your marketing to a list, you want to create a deadline of some kind whenever you can. Without some kind of deadline, your marketing isn’t holding half the power it can. Because there is a huge percentage of your list that will procrastinate a purchase decision until its forgotten unless they feel they will lose out because of some kind of deadline.

Leads Tip #2 – Getting the attention of Your List…long enough to entice them to buy
This specific lead list doesn’t recognize or have any relationship with the Business Marketing.

Even when you have a lead list that would benefit from your product and services, it still requires cutting through all the rest of the marketing noise. Here in this example, we had the home address as well as the email address.

A. Getting the attention of your list with direct mail. I personally have experienced a lot of success using dimensional mail.

Dimensional mail is mailing anything to your prospects that stands out because it is more than a flat peace of mail. We can get really creative here, so I want to stop myself from spending an hour talking about this today.

B. Getting the attention of your list with email. I personally have had a lot of success with email leads providing a free offer then using the content inside the free offer to outline my unique selling proposition along with a direct call to action with a deadline (think of this like a mini product launch).

Bonus Leads Tip #3 – Increase your number of Touches

A. Effectively Sequencing Direct Mail and email - The more often you mail to your leads (of course to a certain point), the higher your conversion will be.

Today on our small business marketing blog we are going to talk about a couple Online Video Marketing Tips for your Video Marketing Sequence.

The other day I was starting an online video marketing project for a major yearly event for a community in Florida.

So, I decided to share these three online video marketing tips because these are the key tips for making first video in a profitable video marketing sequence.

Tip # 1. Make sure the person you have as your video personality or advocate for your campaign is someone who your target audience can relate with. This is important in building trust with your video marketing message. If your target market was a group of business motivational speakers, you might want to have a motivational business speaker give the talk on the video. It’s really that simple.

Tip #2. Treat your first online video like a headline in a sales letter.
You can do this by focusing your first video on getting the attention of our viewers, creating a USP with your message and building curiosity for the videos that will follow.

Tip #3. Get some kind of commitment from your viewers.
You accomplish two things when you get a commitment like an email opt-in, a [like] on your Facebook page, a subscription to your Youtube Channel or a new follower on twitter.

First, the more little steps you can get your prospects to take, the more likely they are to take the step of buying from you. Second, the more channels you can get your prospects to subscribe to you, the more likely they are to keep watching your online marketing videos because they will see them in more than one place.

Tip #4. Have a focus on sharing.
If your videos are entertaining or have uniquely important content, they are more likely to be shared by your target audience. Remember in your online video marketing that its okay to ask them to share. Just make sure you know why your target market should share the video and then remind them of the reasons why it’s a good idea to share it.

Today at our Small Business Marketing Blog, I want to talk to you about increasing your customer conversion.

Because it doesn’t matter if you have a sales focus or a marketing focus.

It doesn’t matter what strategy your leveraging right now to get more customers.

What does matter is that there is an investment of resources to convert the customers you have.

And one of the most important focuses you can have is finding new ways to increase the ROI of your customer conversion right now.

If you currently have a customer conversion process that isn’t giving you the return you want, although it does generate qualified leads, then we should talk.

Converting your prospect into customers can become easier and easier as we understand a few ideas and build a few key skills.

1. We want to make sure, the series of steps in our communication that we use to convert new customers builds desire in our prospects.

The feeling of desire that we are building in our prospects is to move towards what they want and to move away from what they don’t want.

Being great at this process is an amazing gift we give our prospects if our products or services have value. Because those are the driving feelings that get people to take action and buy something.

2. Once this process is mastered, build the trust with your prospect that your product or service is their best choice.

If its not their best choice, simply develop it to be the best choice so you can be real with your marketing or sales process.

3. Then, we want to use each step in the process to just focus on selling the next step in the process.

So, if your conversions aren’t as high as you want, you can either increase the level of influence each step has in the first two areas I talked about or you can increase the number of steps or touches your communications have with the prospect.

As a Business Speaker, I talk on how our customers are the heart of your business all the time. Because the reality is that companies that are going to fail as the world changes are the ones that have forgotten this or don’t understand how to leverage this idea.

The businesses that do the following three very important things using two way communication tools like social media are going to own their markets either locally or globally in the years to come:

1. Get feedback on how to strengthen the experience the customers are having while doing business with you. There are lots of tools available to do this and most businesses don’t put a lot of thought into their feedback placement and positioning. Your customers want to think less not more and unless you can make feedback fun, your better off making your customer feel like it’s part of the process rather than something extra.

Example: During the purchasing process your customers are dealing with a real person either live, by phone or by instant message. After they have completed the transaction, the customer service rep can ask a question or two instead of saying the tiresome phrase, “I’m going to send you to a quick survey.”

Or, if there is a check out process, simply have a couple questions on a screen behind the check out or have a two- question survey inside in the confirmation email.

If you know the most profitable questions to ask and you create a process that doesn’t feel your customers are doing anything extra, you are going to get better answers and more data to make better decisions.

2. Learn more about your customers so you can categorize and segment your prospects and customers.

3. Mold your offers to speak directly to each segment of your customer base so that your marketing message cuts through the clutter and creates new sales simply because your customer feels like your message is speaking directly to them.

Notice: It’s the feedback that makes the products, the offers and the experience for the customers. Eventually, it’s the customer designing the business. When your most ideal customer designs the business, you end up with the perfect business for your ideal customers. Imagine what that will do for your profit.

Would you like to learn more about how to teach your customers to design your business?

Which Social Networks for My Business?

Today on our small business marketing blog we are going to focus on answering one of the questions we get here.

That question was: Which social network is right for which business?

Step-By-Step Instructions for Finding the Best Platform For Your Business

Our first step when wanting to find the right social network for our business is to make sure we really understand our customers. So I have included a simple exercise on how to do just that in this Small Business Marketing Report.

Then, I would focus on one of a few different directions.

1. Find a niche specific social network for your business.
Finding a niche specific social network for your business makes it real easy to tap into a large group of potential customers, joint Venture Partners, as well as an easy way to study your competition.

Social Networks for Business Bonus Strategy

When you connect with potential customers or referral partners in niche specific social networks, you will find that a lot of those people are also on Facebook or Twitter. Once you know who someone is, you can find them on facebook or twitter simply by searching for them. When you connect with your prospect on multiple platforms you multiply your effectiveness because your message and brand can be found in multiple locations.

2. Use the Majors as your Social Network for your Business.
Your target market might be found on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. But if you want to just start with one Social Network, you can monitor the conversation until you find someone a trend in conversation that points to one social network as being a better platform than another.

If you would like to learn how to monitor the conversation on Facebook or Twitter I have a few Free Videos that will help you find your best kinds of customers on those social networking platforms here:

Twitter Followers (how to get the profitable ones)

Today on our little small business marketing blog, I wanted to share a little technique that I have helped a few business coaching clients use who are in business-to-business sales organization.

It works just as well the rest of the year when done correctly but every Valentine’s Day, I’m reminded of how great it works when I do it. So I thought I would share it with you in this simple step-by-step business-to-business article.

We all have experienced the challenges of getting past the gate keeper and this little idea is specifically designed to get past the gate keeper, get into the hands and read by the decision maker (if he is a male). I will explain this later.

The business-to-business marketing strategy is as follows:

Step One
Get a nice higher end envelope and a nice thick stock of paper. When choosing both an envelope and paper, think feminine. They don’t have to be overly girlie, just remember to think feminine. Trust me, this will make sense in a minute.

Step Two
Create a strong and powerful sales message. Start the sales message as though it’s coming from an old lover or friend of the client you are trying to close.

Step Three
Hire a woman with soft handwriting if you’re not one. Have her write your b2b sales message as well as write the copy on the cover of the envelope. If your prospect has a nick name, use it. What we are going for here is personalization.

Step Four
Put a little perfume on the message so it has a feminine aroma.

What we are finding happens most of the time is that it goes right past the gate keeper because they don’t want to stop personal mail like that or really be involved with anything of that nature. We are also finding that when the message starts off like it’s coming from a past relationship, that the message is getting read. So as long as you have a powerful sales message, then you just might get some pretty nice results like the rest of our coaching clients.

This is a quick Small Business Marketing Idea provided by one of our Speakers for Business and Top Business Coaches Nathaneal Mohr

Okay, it’s great when businesses that sell jewelry, spa packages, meals (such as restaurants) etc..get a boost in sales during Valentine’s Day.

But what about the rest of the businesses that don’t normally get a bump in sales because of this special day..

Do we have to stand and silently hope that more business will just magically come our way?… Or, is there a way to take a little more control over our future profit and take advantage Valentine’s Day as an impending event that also gives us a nice little bump in profit.

Remember, part of great Marketing is the art of getting and keeping the most profitable customers attention and trust while creating opportunities for them to make sense in buying today instead of tomorrow.

Let’s Put our Marketing Thinking Cap on.

If we want our customers to buy from us sooner than later, we first need to give them reasons to do that right.

You can do this for yourself by thinking through a couple of questions.

What do my products and services do for my customers or clients?

Write those things down.

Then ask that question again about what you just wrote down and then one more time with what you wrote down the second time. Yep, ask yourself that question a total of three times.

What it will do when thought through is bring to the surface some key benefits that are going to become the main focus of our marketing message.

Then You want to ask yourself:

Why would my customers or clients want to give this away as a gift and if so, why on valentines day?

Why would my customers or clients want to use this to assist them in creating a experience for their Valentines day?

Be playful with your message, have fun. Remember, if it’s not really that practical of a Valentine’s day message, you can be silly and entertaining and accomplish a profitable bump in sales simply because its a Valentine’s day message that kept your prospects attention long enough to get them to buy.

Then look at your margins. Can you give something away? Maybe a dozen roses delivered to their sweetheart if they buy before Valentine’s Day.

If you can’t find anything creative to say to get your prospects attention, just be real and say something like:

Get yourself, your family or business the practical gift of (fill in the blank with your business here) and get a dozen roses delivered to your Valentines home absolutely free.

Some companies that have been taking advantage of our business coaching have been doing this bonus concept of the gift (for their lost prospects, reactivating old clients etc…) for years and loving the results.

This is a Small Business Marketing Idea “How to” training from one of our top Business Coaches and Motivational Business Speakers Nathaneal Mohr…is for those of you that would like to increase the return on their marketing in February by being a little more creative than your competition.

You see their is nothing new about creating a marketing message that speaks to the individual that could potentially give your products or services to their Valentine in February. Although profitable when done correctly, that is a much more crowded target during this time of year.

So here is something you can add to your marketing mix so that you can beat your competitors this February.

And there are a few ways to increase your return on your marketing. One is by perfecting your message and the other is by finding more effective and less crowded places to communicate your marketing message.

So today we are going to talk about creating marketing message that speaks to the person that is usually forgot about with Valentines day marketing. That’s the person that doesn’t have a valentine.

Thats right, the person without the Valentine.

This Valentines Day Marketing Idea isn’t as complicated as it might sounds at first.

Your First Step: (first Understand in detail who your customer is)

Here is a special Resource to Help you Understand the Most important Parts of Who Your Customer is And how to Communicate with them So they Buy More From YOU: Small Business Marketing Report

Then your next step is to use your marketing to speak to the experience of the single person that would be your ideal customer.

A couple things that are true for all single target markets during Valentines Day:

The more you can make the packaging of the marketing feel like a message from a past lover, the more attention you have.

An example might be a handwritten envelope with lipstick on it, or the tonality of a voice-over…now I’m not talking about being overly dramatic here.

How you Package Your Message To Get Attention
Just think about ways to make your marketing more personal…with a slight Valentine’s day twist in it…if you do that correctly, your marketing will be more effective this February.

The Over Arching Goal of Your Marketing Message

The More You can create a message that makes them feel like they deserve to treat themselves to the benefits your product or service provides, the more sales your going to get.

Bonus Notes:

a. Look for ways to use your product or service to substitute the benefits they could be looking for in having a mate.

b. Look for ways to make them feel like there are lots of people just like them that are taking advantage of the products and services you provide during February

This is one of the Reports I gave out at one of our legendary Small Business Marketing Workshops ; )

And then I made this Report only available to those who joined our free membership at our small & medium sized business marketing blog . But because of the large amount of members-only content that we have been developing around business growth, I thought I would make this available for everyone.

There is enough powerfully profitable information in this report that even if you haven’t called any of our best business coaches or used any of our business coaching services at all, you will still get massive amounts of value from this small business marketing report.

As I was saying, I first created this small business marketing report for a closed door event. I remember really wanting to get huge results for the entrepreneurs that attended. So, during the first part of the event, I focused on putting everyone in the state of mind to take massive action with the strategies I was sharing. I did this by by putting on the Best Business Motivational Speakers hat I could.

Then, I pretty much stepped into my business coach role. I did that by actually rolling up my sleeves and helping create the marketing for all 30 participants og the group over the weekend. This allowed the group to apply their individual small business marketing strategy the following week. And as you can imagine allowed them to start creating the results they were looking for by coming to the event…anyway…

I hope you Enjoy!!! Small Business Marketing for Guaranteed Profit

I would love to hear about the results you get after you use these powerful marketing strategies for business profit. All the Best Nathaneal Mohr

P.S. The highest compliment I can get from you is that you share my content with your friends.

P.P.S. The easiest way to do that right now, is to use the buttons below to pass along this valuable Action Guide to people you care about.

When I talk about Constructive Performance feedback when actively engaged as a Business Coach or Motivational Business Speaker, I am talking about any result we create with our resources as entrepreneurs any time we are setting a goal that aligns with our beliefs. Because every action we take either through money, other people, or our own effort, is an expression of the intention to get a result.

And the ability to evaluate and learn constructively from our performance feedback is the defining difference between the business person that gets financial results in just 2 years as oppososed to most well-meaning business people with equal available resources that get those same results in 10 years or more if they even reach that point.

Quickly getting Constructive Performance Feedback

You can receive feedback on your strategies and techniques simply by running them by unbiased, honest experts that have already helped others get the results that they wanted. Or, you can contact people that you trust and have knowledge in your industry. This is so you can ensure that you are learning from people who have had success before you.

Feedback From Your Customers

You can use surveys in your follow-up marketing to contact your customers or clients and ask them for comments about ether why they first purchased the product from you or invested in your services.

You can also contact people who said no in the past to your small business marketing and ask them why, specifically, they didn’t buy from you, as well as what they would have liked to hear to know that buying from you was right for them.

These types of questions can be very enlightening when they are answered honestly, and the constructive Feedback can significantly change your results in the future by helping form a Unique Selling Proposition that works.

A Performance Feedback Side-note:

When you reach out for your customers and prospects opinions during your Regular Customer Relationship Management, it makes your customers feel important like you care about them….Imagine that ; )

Plus, when you do ask for the sale, they are much more responsive because of the conversation you started with them.

But really, at the end of the day, Constructive Performance Feedback for The Entrepreneur is about finding ways to objectively evaluate what you’re putting your resources into while sorting in your mind ways to do things better.

Other Ideas that Help You Reach Your Goals

If you want to reach your business goals fast in the information age with your small business marketing, there are a couple important skills to develop:

One of those skills is the ability to take some kind of system or strategy that you learn and turn it into an action plan that you can delegate to employees or outsourced workers you can trust.

And that is probably why we have been getting questions lately about creating new hires and delegating some of the ideas that we share on our blog.

So, in todays blog entry, I would like to talk about a simple way you can take a social media marketing strategy, or a follow up marketing tip or any idea you learn that can improve your profit…and develop it in your business.

Then, delegate it if it has a certain level of continual work flow for you to reach your business goal.

This Outsourced Work Quality Assurance process is for anyone managing the work.

1) Write down the exact steps you are going to have to take for a team member or outsourced worker to complete the work flow.

2) Work through the work flow yourself or have a manager or someone you trust work it completely through.

3) Write the amount of time it took to accomplish this process.

Include:

a. variations in times (if they exist). Describe what those factors are.
b. If there is a learning curve factor, include the times, how long the learning curve will take and the end result of time after they understand all the aspects of the learning curve

4.a ) Write down the bottle necks or potential bottle necks that could take place.

4.b.) Take a little time depending on the process and research or think through possible ways to overcome those bottle necks and test. Remember, their time is your money and profit your goal. So take the time to work through those bottle necks.

5) Write down any short cuts you discovered in the workflow process like softwares, etc….

6) List out how you will know if your strategy is a success. Plan out the accountability for the survival of this strategy in your business.

Now, what this means is that whoever is managing this outsourced work fully understands the new work flow and has already thought through and corrected most the challenges that could take place. This stream lines the ability of the manager to understand where the outsourced team member should be along the process.

In this weeks collection of videos, articles and worksheets we focused on business goals for a couple of reasons.

We have been getting a lot of questions about business goals over the last few weeks. Between me and you, it’s probably because its the beginning of the year.

But the questions alone aren’t why we are focusing on goals right now.

As a Business Coach , whenever integrating a new client into our curriculum one of the first things we talk about is goals….so I thought this might be a good opportunity to talk about a few important aspects when setting business goals you don’t hear talked about that often.

Taking a look at your goals is important when thinking about the strategies you can immediately use for your small business marketing or business growth.

We started this week with a the intro to give you the directions we are going with this business goal setting course. Then we got into some long term business goals and how to create your most optimistic and wholistic outcomes.

The interesting thing about creating really big goals is the hidden challenges that can sneak up on you if you’re not careful. One of those hidden challenges is making sure your beliefs are optimized for your goals.

Then after all of that, we went into a goal congruence exercise that has been known for making people like you and I unstoppable.

And becoming unstoppable is something I try to install in all of our members, clients, and groups that I work with as a Motivational Business Speaker

I’ve noticed something as a Business Coach over the last few years. You see, every Business-Owner and Entrepreneur who has ever become a business leader and created a following have all had one thing in common:

100% goal congruency. They believed in themselves and had confidence in the importance of their Business Goals, Their Product or Service or tF%G6Gv48%kys123heir Message.

These Goal-Congruent questions are designed to establish a high-level of congruency between who you are (Belief around yourself and your business goals) and the results you want to create. Answering these questions clearly will give you a stronger unconscious influence of your Entrepreneurial Leadership.

Remember: Those who are 100% congruent with their goals and focused on a specific result without being focused on different results that are incompatible with your goal are much more likely to be followed, given new opportunities and purchased from.

Goal Congruency is not some abstract Idea. Those business people who are congruent with their goals, no matter where they are along their trajectory, will have the world bend to them as they become more and more congruent.

Question:

Are you sure that taking action to reach this is what you want? _____________

If so, what makes you so sure?

Are you sure reaching this goal is what you want to be putting your energy into? You could be putting your energy into so many other things with your time. So why are you striving to reach this business goal and not something else?

Have you ever tried to reach a different business goal in the past (other than this one) and were unsuccessful?

If so, what will you do differently in the process this time around?

What will you do the same?

What is the number 1 purpose in having the business goal you described?

What is it going to take to fully reach that purpose?

Who else (besides yourself) will have to give something up or could gain something from this business goal once it’s created?

What are two of your greatest successes in your life (these are the two things you have accomplished that you are the most proud of)?

What is it about those successful moments that were most meaningful to you?

What have you learned from those successful moments that you can bring into the present and future as you create this business goal?

What do you see as your biggest “failures” in your life?

The truth is: there is no such thing as a failure. Each result of an action is “feedback” for your personal and professional evolution. Actions you take are the best choices you know to take at that given time. That’s why, over the months to come, I will be giving you so many more choices to have both internally and externally when it comes to making better decisions for your business results.

Think this Question through because when used correctly, it can be very powerful.

What is the biggest lessons you learned from the “feedback” of this so-called business failure?
