Hotel Métropole Monte-Carlo works with British accessories designers for Valentine’s Day

For Valentine’s Day this year, the Hotel Métropole, Monte-Carlo is working with two British accessories designers, Lulu Guinness and Solange Azagury Partridge, and will be styled with the “I Kiss Métropole” theme, starting from 6 February until 15 March.

Solange Azagury Partridge’s new collection of enamel HotLips rings (pictured here) will be presented in a star-shaped case in the Salon des Portraits, as well as another display cabinet where other pieces from the collection will be exhibited. Furthermore, a piece of artwork by American artist Scott Campbell, exclusively created for the Hotel, will be displayed. Lulu Guinness’ renowned lip clutch-bags will also be showcased in The Lobby, surrounded by an arrangement of red roses.

Launching for 2012, Timothy Dunn London has revealed its debut luxury home candle collection. The entire collection has been manufactured and packaged in the UK and comprises: Blues Rose (rose and plum), Azure (seaweed and muget), Grecian Lime (grapefruit and bergamot), Mille Fleur (lotus blossom and tuberose), Violette de Lune (neroli and wild jasmine), Oud (frankincense and oud), Tiger-eye (orange blossom and amber) and Samarkand (suede musk and patchouli). Each candle is housed within a hand-blown glass container with its signature pure platinum logo printed on each candle. Fashion label East introduces debut homeware collection

EAST is launching a limited edition lifestyle range ‘EAST at Home’ on 14 March. The new range is inspired by founder Penny Oliver’s travels to India. All the pieces are created in the city of Jaiphur and hand printed, crafted and stitched with traditional skills that have been handed down from generation to generation.

The Kanther range consists of bright jewel coloured floral prints and comes in four different colourways – bright pink, turquoise, white and black. The ‘kanther’ name comes from the traditional stitching style of is loosely stitched lines all over the printed fabric. The Anokhi range for SS11 comes is three different prints, and is more delicate in design. The prints within this range are hand block prints that have been hand dyed and have a different design on each side.

In addition to the soft furnishings, make-up bags and kimonos will be added for the Summer. Prices range from £8.00 for a make up bag to £125.00 for a large quilted cover. The full range will be available at www.east.co.uk with edited pieces available in selected stores nationwide.
