Wer’re coming hard and fast with the blog updates this month. We have had yet another addition to our discounted models. Two of our G&L guitars are reduced to clear. Yet another update to our ever expanding guitar stock. We are lucky enough to have three new Hagstrom guitars on the floor. As you may or may not know these guitars only started re-production last year. We currently have a swede, a super swede and a jazz. For those unfamiliar with the swede series they take on a shape similar to a Les Paul but have a vintage meets modern sound, whereas the jazz has a very warm ‘pop’ to it. Come in and try one out.

Whether your interests lie in playing death metal, jazz or anything in between ESP are definitely worth having a look into. ESP has always been portrayed as a go to for metal guitarist. However when coupled with Seymour Duncan pickups the ability to move from a heavy metal chug to a warm jazz tone is just too easy. Needless to say ESP models with EMG pickups are equally as impressive. No matter what type of guitarist you are ESP will be more than likely capable of satisfying your playing needs. The ‘Mastersound’ series is in stock right now, the MS-500, MS-503 and MS-500/50th have already made for a few very happy guitarists, the 50th anniversary proving to be the weapon of choice.  They do a bunch of different colours to keep everyone happy and are now making them in 25.5″ scale, instead of the short scale neck that they used to do. This new neck profile is much easier to play and come with 22 highly polished frets.

HARDWIRE-This absolutely awesome range of pedals is making its mark on the scene by delivering a TON of top quality tones, not to mention the diversity within each pedal. Being a fairly new face to the world of effects, some people will be wary, but anyone that tries one is guaranteed to be satisfied. Staff members are grabbing as many as they can and spreading the word, everyone should have at least one of these (probably the tasty reverb)!!!! Theres not much more to say, they are just DAMN GOOD!!!

We are holding a clinic at the Christ Church hall involving a specialist bass guitar presentation by one of the best teachers in Geelong, Rohan Carr who will be playing with his band. Also we have Pro guitarist Brett Garsed, who has played for big names such as John Farnam and Nelson. He has also released instructional dvd’s and instrumental work that is very well known in the guitar world.

The clinic will provide an impressive wealth of information about bass and guitar, by some phenomenal players, with an insight into the world of playing and the music industry.
