This is a role suitable for someone with solid hands-on business pursuit experience, particularly within the wealth management arena. This role particularly requires excellent interpersonal, influencing and leadership skills rather than K.M. theory but does need a good level of Communications / KM experience.
The focus for this role during will be around developing global communities and networks which are already quite mature. The purpose is to improve the business growth, capabilities and efficiencies delivered through them and the promotion of efficient working through collaboration and knowledge sharing.

This needs to be someone with exceptional interpersonal qualities, influencing skills, good networking experience, and preferably with a practical working knowledge of SharePoint.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Enhance and implement a framework of actions to help the networks and communities achieve their goals. Provide one-to-one guidance to community leaders including trouble shooting.

Develop and embed effective virtual working and encourage virtual projects across geography and business unit boundaries to maximise the exploitation of different ideas.

Implement knowledge management processes and proactively drive the knowledge collection and dissemination.

Provide hands-on training and support to content managers and end users.

Participate in thought leadership for knowledge management development and research.

Relevant business experience preferably in a communications or knowledge management area possibly in the scientific field.
