While looking for T-shirts, I came across this cool print entitled Ufology #1 Print by Michelle Marie Murphy. According to the site, it was inspired by a web search for UFOs. Being a big fan of everything sci-fi, I instantly was drawn to it. It features a serene landscaped marked by a classic UFO shape.

While I was digging through the West Elm sale page—because I dislike paying full price—I came across this red chair art insert. It caught my eye because it has an uncanny resemblance to our logo; although , it appears to be a more classy wooden version. Anyways if you like chairs on your wall, this print is only $13. Surface Collective is a Canadian company that makes some of the most intricate wall decals I have seen. My personal favorites are their grass blades and lumberjack decals. But they also offer a number of more abstract prints like the one above. As an added bonus, they provide a huge flickr set to give you ideas on how to use them. Payton Media Console

My ongoing search for a new media center brought me to an unlikely place—Pottery Barn. I was surprised to find the Payton Media Center. It features a simple design and an amazing amount of storage. Without stacking, it has 6 shelves for consoles, receivers, and other components. And, its fold out cabinets can store around 300 dvds, cds, and games. At $1299, it is definitely at the higher end of the budget. But, it is definitely hard to find a media center with that much storage and flexibility.

Half-Mile Ray Searchlight Floor Lamp

Although Restoration Hardware’s Half-Mile Ray Searchlight Floor Lamp is a bit out of my price range at $695, I think this is one sweet lamp. The description on the site says that it is modeled after a vintage sea light and crafted with cast aluminum and hardwood legs. I think it it gives it a bit of a steam-punkish (not sure if that is a word) feel. Either way, check it out at restorationhardware.com.

Room and Board Perspective Bed

I have not featured a whole lot of Room & Board furniture, but for awhile now, it has been one of my favorite furniture stores. A piece I have had my eye on is the Perspective Bed (pictured above). It is a unique take on the classic modern metal bed, with the footboard featuring a simple rectangle shape that seems to suspend the matress in mid-air. Check it out at roomandboard.com.

Li Jianye’s iShelf

Brilliant! Li Jianye has created what could be the LP frame of our generation. His iShelf is a simple shelf with slots cutout to display CD cases so that they appear like they are in Apple’s Coverflow interface. It looks like it is just a concept for now, but I would suspect that he will be able to find someone to produce these.
