I Love my New Brazilian Friendship Bracelets!

Except for the light pink one, which was a H&aM purchase made a couple of yers ago, I bought all of the other bracelets during my Brazilian holidays in Florianopolis and Ilhabela.

I wear them, and it is immediately summer!

My last day of vacation has come. I had such a great time!

But I still have half a day left! ...And the beach is calling ...:)!

Another Place, Another Charming Hotel

After a great weekend visiting some Brazilian friends in Itajubà, in the State of Mina,
(thank you guys for the wonderful time had together and for having us at your place!!!)
I arrived in Florianopolis a couple of days ago. Unfortunately, the sun does not want to come out (oh yes, do you remeber my goal of reaching the perfect holidays glow? Forget about it!!!), but the hotel we are staying at is absolutely charming! Today, I am sharing are some pictures of it. Hope you enjoy!

Brazil - Easy Outfit

This is one of my very very simple outfits for my Brazilian holidays: a fresh touch of pastel yellow (one of my favorite trend colors this season, btw), a casual cotton top, extremely simple accessories, and a touch of gold on one bracelet, sunnies and flat sandals. Nothing complicated or too sophisticated, but just what I need to spend the evening near the sea on a tropical island.
P.s. I am working hard on my tan. I really hope to be able to go back to my cold Switzerland and be able to show off a glowy holidays sun-kissed skin. But with my milky color it takes sooo long :(! Keep your finger crossed for me please :P!

Brazil Brazil - My Hotel in Ilhabela

Boa tarde!

I am in Brazil right now. More precisely, in Ilhabela, a charming island in the State of São Paulo.

The colors, the air, the tropical ambience,the music,the open people make this place great. During the past few days, I went to several beaches, eaten a loooot of pao di qeijo for breaksfast (yumm!!!), descovered the central village, went for pretty adventurous walks in the forest, where I had the chance to see colibris (I love them!) and other funny animals, and, last but not least, I enjoyed the hotel, Real Vila Bela, which is absolutely beautiful.

I wanted to share a few pictures of it before showing you more impressions from here. Istn't it the perfect place for some relaxing holidays? I am loving the inner decoration and the tropical chic atmosphere that sorrounds it!

Asandri @ Mode Suisse First Edition

Hello hello folks!

I am back again!

And this time with some personal impressions, official runway pictures, as well as looks from the lookbook of the collection of the Swiss fashion brand Asandri, which was presented during the first edition of Mode Suisse a few days ago.

Just to get you a bit more aquainted with the brand and the event: Asandri was founded by Alexandra Pfister and Stefan Wiedmer in 2009. The collections of the brand present feminine cuts which are thought for and inspired by modern, active, and self-determined women who want to treat themselves with high quality clothes.

Mode Suisse is a new Swiss fashion event created to whatch and buy selected Swiss fashion labels in a smart and nice atmosphere. The first edition took place in the super nice ambience of the Papiersaal in Zurich. The event will be organized twice a year in Geneva and Zurich. Hopefully I will be invited to the second edition again :)!

Nails Party

In the last months, I prefered to have my nails polished with neutral skin color, light pink, or french manicure. But now that spring is here, my wish for color has been renewed.
Therefore, I went through all my nail polish little bottles (a whole beauty case) and picked some pastel as well as some very bright shades which I am feeling like wearing again for the warm season.

Remember that a few posts ago, I told you about my purchase of new buttons for my trench coat?

My Zara trench coat (bought about 4 years ago) is still in good shape, but its original buttons were all damaged and old. Throwing away my beloved trench was definitely not an option. Therefore, I searched for some pretty new buttons to add, and now I'm almost finished.

I am looking forward to show you the finished new trench :)!

Moustaches Have Never Looked so Cute!

Definitely a current love: Peter Ibruegger cheeky and charming moustache mugs.

It is impossible not to want them all!

The creator wanted to achieve something of high quality, but affordable and appealling to everyone. His visions became reality in the form of the original mugs in the last picture above.

The idea behind this everyday design object is to give you the possibility to enjoy masquerading behind your favorite character moustache: Fu-Magnum, Mustafa-Chaplin, and Morice-Poirot.

My Very Casual Saturday Outfit

For a very normal Saturday spent between some shopping with my mom (we both needed some new bottons for our coats. I'll show you the results on my trench coat as soon as I am finished :)!), a little walk in the city of Como, some works at home, and other little things one tries to do during the weekend, when there's more time to finish with all arrears one accumulates during the week, I chose a super comfy and super casual city look.

It was the first time I got out of the house in the morning without a coat this spring :)! And the temperature was just perfect for my beloved vintage biker jacket :)!

Visit @ Avart, Fashion and Design Store

Assy, an old friend of mine, invited me to her fashion & design boutique in Lugano:

Avart.

All pieces are of high quality, impecable taste, and have been chosen with a skilled and sophisticated eye. Among the brands in the store there are names such as by Malene Birger, See by Chloé, fiorentini+baker, glowybow, Histoires de Parfum, and ango.

I investigated every corner of the store and found some little big treasures.

In the pictures:

The cream light jacket with its fine leather belt is a piece by forteForte.

I absolutely loved the way it wrapped me as if I was in a soft coocoon. Plus, it is exactly the kind of jacket I like to wear with my skinnies: long and loosy but construcuted (I love skinnies, but one "tight&squeezy" item is enough for my body. A) it's not comfortable, B) trust me, unless you have the size of a supermodel, it most probably won't look that good on you ;)! And it surely would not look good on me :)! C) the contrast of stretchy and loosy is much cooler than any other possible combination. So: thumbs up for long and loosy but constructed jackets!

The black short jacket is an Iliaria Nistri Design.

Her style is rather goth, and with a very sophisticated touch.

The accessories of Radà were my absolute faves. They are colorful, playful and glittery, but still very very chic :).
