A lot of Filipinos whine and complain about mistreatment, but turn deaf and blind with our own shortcomings.

I have a Filipino team mate in my football club who is mean when another Filipino club mate commits mistakes during a game. But just smile and just brush off the mistakes done by our foreign team mates.

I’m not complaining, it’s just that this is a common extreme attitude of the Filipinos that needs to be checked.

When he died I felt a bit of sadness. Tears was in the back of my eyelids, but it did not fall.

Reactions about his death spread around the internet like wildfire. Most of them accolades and sadness, and a number hate and disgust. Saying he was a kiddie fiddler (pedophile). That negative label of him from anti-MJs makes me say my piece.

I don’t believe MJ was a pedophile.

Although, there are a lot of rumors about his sexual orientation, that he is gay. But he is not a pedophile.

He had a deprived childhood. Never fully experienced like normal children do - play, eat, run around. The Neverland Ranch was a testament that he was to continue his childhood as an adult.

The accuser’s father was just intent on milking money from MJ. The father was was allegedly in debt in the thousands of dollars at that time. The media exaggerated headlines that altered people’s assessment of Michael Jackson.

I have a soccer club mate who plays two games, and he is good at both. First, of course is football and other is infidelity.

He is somewhat an asset to the club, football wise that is. Always a first pick when there are soccer games. But i will be talking more of his prowess in infidelity.

There are Sundays when he brings his first girl, and other random Sunday - the second girl.

We also do some futsal (indoor soccer) scrimmages on Fridays. He usually brings the girl number two on that day. Girl number two fully knows her position in his life, and that is number two. But last Friday, on came Girl number one!

Another club mate and I just secretly laugh at the sight.

Right after the game, we saw him and girl number one at an area, both of them had serious look on their faces.

I was thinking, “That would probably be the end of their relationship.”

Then Sunday came for an another futsal game. I saw both the player and girl number one - together!

Boy, he is indeed a good player!

Before Baldwin, there were Teri Hatcher of Desperate Housewives and Chip Tsao, just to name a few.

Filipinos complained after Alec Baldwin said that he will buy a Filipina wife since he is now 51 years old. Filipinos were insulted with his words.

I believe  Americans are more visible targets to insults than Filipinos, and i still have to hear them filing an official complaint.

I hope the Filipinos will learn to eschew the “victim” mentality.

Poor ones should not always complain about this inevitable truth. Because there are two types of rich people, the good ones and the bad ones.

The bad ones uses connections in the government, giving bribes, selling drugs, doing corruptions, extortion. You could find them a lot in the government and police force. Hahaha!

While the good millionaires just attract money just by using their own wits and wisdom. Economic recession for them is an opportunity to invest or create another business.

Susan Boyle
Gained instant international fame after appearing in Britain’s Got Talent audition. Although this 47 year old already had her song included in a compilation album back in 1999, but her career never really took off.

During the introduction part in Britain’s Got Talent, the audience laughed at her when she mentioned her age. She even got smirks when she replied, “I’m trying to be a professional singer” at Simon’s “dream” question. But those are really nothing compared to what appeared to be a humiliation done to her in an audition that happened 14 years ago.

She is Philippine Idol’s first winner. She received a lot of negative comments because of her looks and her weight. In the Philippine entertainment scene, the ugly talents are good only for comedy shows. But Mau Marcelo’s talent in singing deserves to be known internationally.

Paul Potts
Also a product of Britain’s Got Talent fame. This unassuming man makes me shed bucket of tears every time i watch his videos. He went on to win the 100,000 pound first prize.

I believe there are two types of complaining, the negative and constructive. I will be dealing with the negative one. No person is free from complaining, but minimizing it will do good to one’s physical health and future aspirations.

Be Confident. It’s hard to be confident when you don’t have something to be confident about. Just think of the Americans. They are perhaps the most hated nationality in this planet. You could find hate videos in Youtube, write ups, comments, and all the hate. I still have to hear of Americans asking for help in human rights groups. I still have to find the Americans complaining about a hate article.

Just simply be confident.

Carrie Prejean, the Miss USA candidate was actually hoping that she would not be asked about “gay marriage” issues. But it was like everyone and everything around her was conniving and the question she was trying to avoid was asked by Perez.

In Perez’s blog, she called Prejean as “dumb bitch” and “half a brain” and even said “would have stormed onto the stage and ripped off her tiara if she had won.”

She gave out her opinion, and that’s about it. But not to Perez Hilton.

Perez’s recent entries on his blog were almost about the issue. Either he is really mad or just trying to stir up further controversy to gather more visits to his blog.
