DIY Wednesday: Keep Calm and Have a Soak

Energizing yet Soothing Body Soak

These two powerhouse ingredients, Epsom salt and Camphor, will leave your body feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The healing powers of these ingredients is great for those experiencing pain from arthritis, overexertion, head aches, fibromyalgia, and/ or tension. Epsom salt helps relieve aches while the lemongrass and orange essential oils stimulate the senses to re-energize the body while aiding in killing odor and bacteria after a hard work out.

Supplies

Mixing Bowl
Cleaned 8 oz glass jar w/ lid
Spoon

Ingredients

1 Cup Epsom Salt
½ Cup Sea Salt (Coarse is best, we only had fine in stock)
2 TBL Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
5 drops of each essential oil: Orange, Lemongrass, Camphor and Spearmint
A lot of LOVE :)

Directions
Add ingredients into glass jar or mixing bowl. Shake up to mix or stir with spoon. Add ¼ cup per 1 Gallon of water whether in bath tub or foot tub. Keep calm, soak and enjoy!

*Take 3 deep breaths, 1…. 2…. 3…. breathe in the essential oils. Close your eyes and relax.

3/21: DIY Beauty Recipe: Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Body Scrub

Body Scrub
These two powerhouse ingredients, Pineapple and Honey, will leave your body feeling hydrated, healed and renewed. It will also leave you smelling like a Tropical island.

Supplies

Mixing Bowl
Cleaned 4 oz glass jar
Spoon
Mortar and Pestle

Ingredients

2 TBSP Pineapple Chunks (fresh is best)
2 TBSP Sweet Almond Oil or Safflower Oil
1 TSP soaked and crushed cherries
1 TSP Organic Honey
2 TBSP Organic Cane Sugar
A lot of LOVE :)

Directions
Add ingredients into mixing bowl. Stir. Enjoy! Easy-peasy.

Pamper!
Use a quarter size amount of scrub for each limb. Mix with a few drops of water to create desired consistency. Rub in circular motions for approximately fifteen seconds. For best results, leave on skin for a couple of minutes to allow it to soak in. Rinse. Gently pat dry for essential oils to stay on the skin and follow with a light moisturizer. (Shea butter works great to lock in moisture.)
