If passcode lock is ON - Turn it OFF
Do not unplug the device during this process.

Download the latest version of evasi0n for your Windows or Mac
Visit : evasi0n
After downloading evasi0n, right click zip file and extract the application.
If you are on Windows - Right click on the evasi0n application tool and select Run as administrator,
if you are on Mac - double click evasi0n application tool to run it.
Connect your iDevice to your PC and wait for evasi0n tool to recognize it.
Wait for evasi0n tool to recognize your idevice.
To begin jailbreak process Click Jailbreak.
After a few seconds, you'll see a message asking you to unlock your idevice and tap on the 'evasi0n 7' icon.
Tap on evasi0n 7 icon. (Only tap the icon once, leaving your device connected)
After rebooting, Now evasi0n will ask you to unlock your device to continue. Do so, and the device will reboot again.
Evasi0n should now give you a message 'Done!', Just click on Exit.
BOOM.!!!! That's it, your iDevice has now been Successfully jailbroken and you should see Cydia on the Home Screen.

Apple released the iOS 6.1.5 firmware for the iPod touch 4G. This firmware fixes the same Facetime bug resolved with iOS 7.0.4.
This Guide is meant for iPod touch 4G running on iOS 6.1.5 : Jailbreaking using redsn0w

Update : P0sixspwn - Latest untethered jailbreak tool for iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4/6.1.5/6.1.6 released,
follow this updated guide to jailbreak your iDevice from here

iPod touch iOS firmware : iOS 6.1.5 & iOS 6.0
Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 : Windows (Run as administrator)
Mac (OS X - use Ctrl-Click->Open if on Mountain Lion)

How to Jailbreak iOS 6.1.5

Note : Before following this tutorial your iPod touch should be running iOS 6.1.5 (Backup)

Download the original iOS 6.0 firmware and Redsn0w from the link provided above.
Connect your device to the computer and double click the RedSn0w.zip file and extract the application. Navigate to the RedSn0w folder.
Right click or control-click the redsn0w application from the extracted redsn0w folder and choose Run as administrator.
Once redsn0w opens click Extras button.
From the Extras menu click the Select IPSW button.
Navigate to iOS 6.0 Firmware folder and select the iOS 6.0 IPSW then click Open.
You'll be informed that the iOS 6.0 IPSW will be used for the rest of the session. Click OK.
Click the Back button and then click the Jailbreak button from the main menu.
Redsn0w will now prepare the jailbreak data.
Ensure Install Cydia is selected from the options menu then click Next.
Turn OFF your device then click the Next button.
Redsn0w will now guide you through the steps to get into DFU mode.
Hold down both the Home button and the Power button for 10 seconds.
Release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until redsn0w detects the device.
Your iPod will now be exploited with limera1n.
Redsn0w will now reboot your device.
Redsn0w will upload a new RAM Disk and Kernel.
Once this is complete you will be notified that redsn0w is done and that this is a tethered jailbreak.

Boot Tethered :

Note: Before you go ahead, keep in mind that this is a tethered jailbreak and will require you to plug your device into your computer in case you wish to reboot your device. With that aside, lets begin.

Lauch RedSn0w again.
From the main RedSn0w menu click the Extras button.
Choose Select IPSW from the Extras menu and select the iOS 6.0 IPSW.
Choose Just boot from the menu and follow the instructions to put your device into DFU Mode again for boot. (Follow step 11 to 18)
Wait for the process to complete, once it is complete, you should see the Lock screen on your iPod touch.
BOOM.!!!! That's it, your iPod touch has now been Successfully jailbroken and you should see Cydia on the Home Screen.

For Untethered Jailbreak Follow this simple steps :

Press the "Refresh" button in the top left corner.
After "Reloading Data", perform a search for "p0sixspwn"
Tap Install.
BOOM.!!!! You're on Untethered Jailbreak. :)

Charge your device to 75% or more before you start to prevent unwanted shutdowns.
As always, backup everything you feel is important just in case.

ROOTING : Karbonn Smart Tab 8 Velox : Version 1 & 2

Process is same for both version just Rooting file is different.(Do NOT MIX UP FILES)

Go to Settings > Development Options > check USB Debugging.
Again Go to settings > Security and check Unknown Sources to install Apps from third party.
For Version 1 : Download Crystal_Root.zip
For Version 2 : Download utoo-root.zip and transfer it to your tablet's external sd card. (do NOT extract it).
Power off the tablet.
After the tablet completely shuts down, press the Volume Down and Power buttons simultaneously till the Karbonn logo appears.
You will boot into stock recovery. Press Volume Up and Down to scroll, while the Power button will select the highlighted item.
Scroll to and select Apply update from EXT/sdcard.
Then browse to the location of the
Crystal_root.zip for Version 1 &
utoo-root.zip for Version 2
file and select it.
The flashing process will start and complete within a minute.
Go back to the main menu and select Reboot system now.
BOOM..!!
Your Tab is Successfully Rooted..!! :D
Rooted Android device Verification:

Look for Superuser or SuperSU app in your app drawer or
Download Root Checker from here

As soon as you will flash it, it will boot your tab into TWRP Recovery or Reboot your tablet.
BOOM..!!
TWRP Recovery is installed in Your Tab is Successfully..!! :D

Follow this steps ONLY if you accidently flashed ver:1 TWRP in your ver:2 Tab and your TWRP Recovery Screen/Touch is non-responsive :

Download recovery.img of the stock firmware ST8 and transfer it to your external sd card.
On reboot it will automatically take you to stock recovery.
Now you can flash TWRP-2.4.4.0-ST8ver2.zip by above steps. :)
