Bosnien gedenkt heute des Massakers von Srebrenica, bei dem vor 15 Jahren rund 8000 muslimische Männer und Jungen von bosnisch-serbischen Milizen getötet wurden. 775 von ihnen werden jetzt beigesetzt. Das Massaker von Srebrenica gilt als der größte europäische Völkermord seit 1945.

this morning I had the great idea of upgrading to Jaunty even if it is in Alpha.
It works just great, with some hickups after an upgrade this afternoon:

Amarok stopped working (it freezes)
Musicbrainz has disappeared (after checking the logs I saw it has been uninstalled because of some compatibility issues with python)
Miro has also been uninstalled
VLC (but this is quite older) has now a separate window for the XVid output.

I don't really mind the issues with VLC and Miro, as long as they get fixed, but the stories with Amarok and Musicbrainz got "the best" of me for some hours.

The new login theme (gdm) is just a different theme, I mean it's not impressive but I diddn't change it.

I really really really like the new notification bubble!!! I didn't think about it really often in the past, but now that it's different and (imho) better I really do enjoy it.
