Serve Saturday: Chicago Bears’ Lance Louis and Friends Give Back Outreach
Hosted by Straight from the Heart, Bill Horn and Coach Derek “Skip” LaMothe

We’ll be partnering with the New Orleans Dream Center, Hand of Hope, Convoy of Hope, Opportunity Knox, and others to host a special event for the people of New Orleans. Volunteer activities include grocery giveaways, food, games, portraits with athletes, and more.

Date: Saturday, May 26th

56i Internship

VBS 2012 Xtreme Summer: Worlds Fair

Event Description:

Xtreme Summer is our VBS experience for kids who have completed K-5th grade. This year we are taking a trip around the globe and challenging kids to take Jesus to their worlds. Your children will love the passionate worship, creative Bible teaching, outrageous games and crafts plus super fun give-aways. All the fun happens Monday-Wednesday from 9a-11:30a in the Healing Place Church Arena on July 9-11 and ends with a Xtreme Summer Celebration Family Night on Wednesday, July 11 at 7p. We can’t wait to see you there!

Epic56 Summer Camp

HPC Co-Ed Softball 2012

Co-ed softball registration has begun. It is for anyone who has graduated high school and is 18 years of age or older.
The cost is $60 per player. Registration begins May 1st and ends June 3rd.

Jordan Gautreau Scholarship 5k/Fun Run

On Saturday, June 9th the Healing Place School of Ministry will be hosting a Fun Run/5K at the Highland Campus to raise funds for the Jordan Gautreau Scholarship Fund. This scholarship was established in memory of Healing Place School of Ministry graduate, Jordan Gautreau, who was fully committed to the cause of Christ, and had a passion to see people know and live for that cause. This scholarship is for a student or students who are fully committed to God’s call on their life to full time ministry, and who exemplify a desire to grow academically, emotionally, relationally, spiritually, and physically.

Fee: $25 plus donations accepted

We are so excited that you have chosen to be baptized at Healing Place Church. It is very important to us that each person who is baptized at Healing Place Church understand what we believe about the doctrine of water baptism.

We believe we should follow the Lord’s example when He was baptized by John. In Matthew 3:15, Jesus told John that he should be baptized to fulfill all righteousness. Though we do not believe it is a condition of salvation, it is a crucial part of our testimony that we indeed are Disciples of Christ.
