Passenger in wheel chair caught with gold bars at airport

what happened: A wheelchair-bound passenger was caught trying to smuggle gold bars worth Rs Rs19.80 lakh.
what it means: The accused used a wheelchair to dodge customs, according to officials. Air intelligence unit (AIU) intercepted the accused who arrived from Dubai at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA).
what next: The AIU is further probing the case.

Two chain snatchers arrested in Mumbai, two more at large

what happened: Police recently arrested two chain snatchers, who are part of a larger gang involved in the crime.
what it means: Three incidents of chain-snatching were reported in Sion and Mahim in the last week of May and the police found that the same gang was involved in both the cases, CCTV helped nab two people.
what next: Police are on the lookout for the remaining two accused who are part of the gang.
