Held at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC GreenLight offers Custom Promo Car for Event only

Asheville, NC (August 10, 2010) Tis’ the season of car shows and GreenLight Collectibles does not want to miss out on the excitement. GreenLight was approached by Joe Grace, President of the Blue Ridge Mustang Club of Asheville(BRMCOA) to participate in their 2010 National Mustang Show which they will be hosting Labor day weekend (September 3-5 2010) at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

BRMCOA has dubbed the show Mustangs at the Mansion, as the Biltmore Estate, truly a mansion, is one of the largest private residences in North Carolina. “This show is certainly the most talked about and most highly regarded all-Mustang Show of 2010 and possibly for years to come” said Grace. There will be more than 600 Mustangs on site for spectators to admire along with numerous vendors, of which GreenLight will be in attendance.

GreenLight has created a custom promotional offer just for Mustangs at the Mansion which will be made available through the BRMCOA and their club members. This offer will display the event logo across packaging that includes an entire 6 car series of Mustang vehicles.

As a Vendor as well as a sponsor GreenLight will bring an assortment of Mustang cars in a variety of scales to be available to the public and add to the enthusiast theme. These scaled souvenirs will commemorate the colossal event and are intended to be a huge sensation. Making it so if you didn’t come to the show with a Mustang, at least you can leave with one!

Spectators to the show are admitted to the show for no charge but are not permitted to tour any of the Estate attractions. Tickets can be purchase to view both the car show and Estate as well as attend venues throughout the entire weekend.

Scalpers can be defined as someone who shows up right as the shelves are being stocked, someone who might have an employee connection in a store, or possibly the scalper is an actual employee of a store that carries Hot Wheels. No matter the circumstance, a scalper is someone who cleans the shelves of anything valuable every chance they get. This means if you have a dedicated scalper in your area, you might have a hard time finding new releases, variations, and treasure hunts.

You can, however, beat the scalpers and possibly save money at the same time. How to do this? Buy an unopened Hot Wheels 72 Car Case. This will bypass the scalpers, the bin of death, and the hassle of dealing with busy retail stores. When shopping online, always check to be sure that you are getting unopened and unsearched cases, find out what the shipping will be, what forms of payment they take, and the reputation of the seller.

As a kid I couldn't wait to get home from a stop at Wally-World to open up my latest Hot Wheels. As I got older I began keep them on their unblemished cards. And why not? They are more valuable when kept in the package.

Now that I have two kids of my own, the oldest being my two-year-old son, things have come full circle and there are no words that can explain to a two year old why a certain car might be more valuable if left in the package. He even found a couple of original Red Lines (they were already loose and well worn) and they now remain in his hands or on his bedroom floor. No car....okay...not many anyways, are more valuable than the look on his face when I open up a Hot Wheels for him.

I have now decided that some models just look better out of the package so I have started freeing my favorite castings (mostly older Corvettes) for my own enjoyment. They look great up on the shelf in my office/man-cave.

Here is my latest that was just begging to be freed from it's confines.
