<p><strong>OTTAWA – November 4, 2009</strong> – Halogen Software Inc., a leading provider of <a href="http://www.halogensoftware.com/products/">on-line talent management software</a> today announced the company has closed its best third quarter on record for new bookings, GAAP revenue, and annual recurring revenue (ARR). Despite a challenging economic climate, Halogen realized growth in each of these areas over the same quarter in 2008, with an impressive 26% year over year increase in new customer bookings and 37% year over year growth in ARR. New customer wins also grew over the same quarter in the previous year.</p>

Pengrowth was recipient of the Dazzling Implementation Award in recognition of the organization’s rapid Halogen deployment, which included training 20 locations in less than three weeks and a 100 percent completion rate in less than three months of full roll out. The Regional Municipality of York saved 25 percent on IT costs and an estimated $35,000 each review cycle with Halogen in place, and was recognized with the Bright Bottom Line award.</p>
<p>The Fourth Annual Halogen User Conference, held in Ottawa, included keynotes with employee engagement expert Richard Hadden, and popular HR blogger, Kris Dunn. Numerous customers presented alongside Halogen staff on all aspects of talent management.</p>

During conference breaks, attendees took the opportunity to paint small canvases, which will be displayed in Halogen’s headquarters, and for each canvas painted, Halogen donated funds to this worthy cause.</p>
