Let’s try this again. Not all of my yawns have as much stopping power as the last one I posted. Here’s one that’s a bit less intimidating and a tad cuter. Look at that perfectly curled tongue. It’s as if I practice these things.

Look at that twinkle in my eye. It’s things like this that add to my overall handsomest-dog-ever status. I mean really, next thing you know I’ll be on a boat with a crisp white shirt on trying to sell you cologne. I have supermodel written all over me.

Yes that’s a yawn. What can I say, I’m an intense guy. Even my yawns are dynamic.

You can’t really complain when your full time job is to get comfortable and catch a few z’s. Of course I go out of my way to look cute while doing it, but that’s just extra credit.

• I’m feeling: on alert… but sleepy

This is a little something that I like to call lounge chair patrol. It occurs after I’ve been “in the field” for a while (aka: out in the yard hunting for bugs) and I begin to run out of gas. Sure I’m tired, but I still have to keep an eye out for potential bugs/squirrels to play with. So I’ll relax on the lounge chair and keep my eyes half-open. Just in case…

Mom thought it would be funny to make me a little mesh headband with some ribbon leftover from a gift she opened. I was not amused.

• I’m feeling: secure in my manhood

Yup I’m nestled amongst some feathery purple flowers. So what? That doesn’t make me any less of a man. In fact, I’d argue that it makes me even more macho because I’m brave enough to let my sensitive side show from time to time. How about it ladies? Is there room for a sensitive flower-loving man in your life?

My mom and dad were recently in a magazine called Southern Flourish and I made the shot too. Of course it’s not necessary my best side (although my backside is pretty cute) but I’ll take it. No autographs please.

Ladies love me, what can I say? Here’s me and my friend Molly getting to know each other better. See that look in her eye? That’s love. I’m one fine piece of pooch.

• I’m feeling: slightly to moderately uncomfortable

Is it really bath time again? Me no likey. Isn’t there another way for me to get clean? Like exfoliating my skin by rolling around on bugs in the yard? No? You’re saying I have to get wet in the sink to get clean? Well boo on you for raining on my parade. Literally.
